Do not order with this company! Absolute sham , poor customer service. On Mother’s Day 2026 I ordered flowers for my mother and my elderly grandmother. After waiting at home for the flowers to arrive the delivery came at 8pm NZ time. I contacted NZ Blooms and they “thanked me for my patronage “ aka they couldn’t care less. Utilise your local florist instead. Upon further research also found out this is business is operating under another sham company “Bloomex “ spend your money elsewhere.

Pathetic , pathetic, I placed an order 4 days earlier for mothers day delivery, the order didnt reach home till 10.30pm, customer service is the worse i have come across , no appology, no one knows what they doing, based in Georgia, What i rodered is not what i received, made a complaint to the consumer act. Wish i could not even give them 1 star

I ordered a Mothers Day bouquet to be delivered yesterday (Mothers Day in New Zealand) and it was not delivered. I called on Saturday, the day before, to confirm delivery the next day and it was confirmed. Emails have not been responded to. I called their 'contact us' telephone number this morning and was cut off during the first call and the lady hung up on me during the second call when I asked to speak to someone about receiving a full refund for monies paid.

absolutely horrible, flowers didnt turn up, and customer service was useless. they kept telling me it was in transit and assured me it would be delivered that day, it never showed up and when i called, they told me it would be delivered tomorrow. do not order from them

Buyers Beware

We were very disappointed with the flowers we purchased for Mother’s Day. The bouquet arrived past its use-by date, with browning petals, poor quality, wilted and very small boutique flowers that looked nothing like the picture online. When we contacted the company to address the issue, they refused to rectify the problem, citing their policy on floral design and the quantity of blooms included in the arrangement met their standards. This experience has really let us down, and we will not be purchasing from them again. They need to be shut down. They're misleading and ripping people off. They should be ashamed of themselves. Where's this companies ingrity?

Not only did the flowers not look anywhere near the amount in the picture, my mum told me they showed up with half of them dead! And the “card” was a note stapled to the flowers. Highly unimpressed considering how much you guys charge. I will not be using this company again

Nothing like what I ordered for Mother's day, ordered deluxe mason Jar soft pastels got a message later stating they were over run with orders and would upgrade or send equivalent price, Mum got substandard flowers, nothing like what we ordered and wanted them to special as she had just moved

IT’S A SCAM! Too many issues to list - enough issues to write a bad review though. After numerous phone calls, emails and website chats to get confirmation of order and payment receipt emailed to me, I’m still yet to receive these. Chasing anything up with them will drive you mad. Do yourself a favour, order elsewhere.

Website glitch resulted in my order being placed before a greeting could be included. Rang to cancel and restart order. Told no. However they said I could email my greeting to go on the card I bought and they would affix and confirm. They did neither. Flowers arrived in a box with a large hole punched into the top. None of the flowers were in bud. It will be interesting to see what opens up and whether it matches what I ordered but I am not holding my breath. 1 star review

Postscript: After several exchanges of emails the company eventually delivered a satisfactory bunch of flowers. Out certainly did not need to be this hard. Perhaps 1.5 stars is deserved.

Placed an order for Mother’s Day. The order confirmation conveniently left off the delivery date I had requested. I could not find a record of my requested delivery date in any of their communications. They waited until the order had been shipped to tell me it was coming earlier to suit their demand, and also that what I ordered had been switched out due to lack of stock. Called them to query and they couldn’t confirm why the delivery date was not provided to me or what the replacement items were. The person on the phone could not answer my questions and said it all due to was company policy. Would recommend avoiding this company - they are deceitful and misleading.

This florist is a scam. The good old bait and switch scam.
They bait you into the online version you THINK you are sending then switch to a small version that looks like it was handpicked from someone’s garden. When you realize, you ph customer service only to find you phoned India. The person takes 10 minutes to spell your name, another 10 minutes to then tell you “we have no record of that transaction”.

If there was a zero... you would get this. You have false and misleading claims that you deliver same day, you charge extra for it. The delivery took 5 days. You didnt send them until day 4, so cant blame on courier.
You have offered me a $5 refund, when you charged me 20 extra for the same day service... just bullshit practice!

Very bad customer service. The person on the phone had basic English skills, kept repeatedly yawning on the phone and hung up on me.

Ordered flowers to be delivered on a sunday morning, that was fine, they then tell me they wont be there until the wednesday. After I had paid. They will not issue a refund. This is a poor excuse of a company and absolutely the worst customer service and experience.

Very rude customer service. They all have poor English as they kept handing the phone over. One of the girls kept yawning down the phone. I was on the phone for 22minutes then got ‘randomly’ hung up on.
Order due 3 days later than the day I selected! Wouldn’t refund.

Where do I begin—ONLY GOT REFUND MINUTES BEFORE THEIR DEADLINE - WITH ME GOING TO THE COURTS TO FILE AGAINST THEM. This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I have had with any company.

I chose NZ Blooms specifically because your website repeatedly advertises “Stokes Valley same-day delivery if ordered before 1pm.” Based on this clear representation, I placed and paid for an order at 7:25am and received confirmation that delivery would occur that same day. This was a time-sensitive purchase for a staff member, arranged through our work email, and same-day delivery was essential.

However, the situation quickly became unacceptable. Upon checking emails the following morning, I found a message sent at 8:26pm advising that the courier had already left before my order was placed, and that delivery would instead occur the following Tuesday—five days later, after ANZAC weekend. This explanation is completely inconsistent with their advertised service. I placed my order well before 1pm, so it is unclear how the courier could have “already left.”

I immediately requested cancellation and a full refund. Their terms and conditions state that cancellations made within 24 hours of delivery are eligible for a full refund. Despite this, my cancellation request was not actioned, and the flowers were delivered regardless on Sunday afternoon (they stated in their email that delivery would be the Tuesday)

What followed was an unnecessarily prolonged and frustrating process involving approximately ten emails, repeatedly insisting on a refund I was clearly entitled to. Only after I formally advised that I would be lodging a claim through the courts for both a refund and compensation for my time was the refund processed—mere minutes before I proceeded.

This experience reflects extremely poor service, misleading advertising, and a failure to adhere to your own stated policies. Customers should not have to threaten legal action to receive a legitimate refund.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend NZ Blooms. The entire process—from misleading delivery claims to the refusal to promptly honour a valid cancellation—was unacceptable.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Never arrived, hard to deal with, had to contact multiple times for a response. Avoid at all costs!

Yep - it's a scam. Read all the other terrible reviews. Surely they'll get done by commerce commission or something soon. Feel sorry for all the mothers this Sunday....

I found it impossible to communicate with the Company by phone or email. Emails never responded to, phones never answered.
Raised a case with NZ Commerce Commision!

I hope someone shuts this company down as earliest possible.

This was for my daughter’s 30th birthday as I was not in NZ, so I ordered it online from Europe.

1. The deluxe designers collection II was the furtherest away from what was advertised and what I paid for 129.95$, any supermarket flowers would look much better and more appealing than what was received!

What was supposed to be a beautiful, big and luxurious looking bouquet full of gorgeous light coloured flowers ended up as a smallest possible bouquet of dark and too many colours flowers not even matching properly each other, squeezed without any beauty or order like a toddler was playing with colours.
That bouquet would cost 30$!
Disappointing and insulting!

2. It was not delivered as requested, we called several times, no one answered my emails and finally, it arrived 9hours later.

3. Gift basket Gourmet collection LUXE, sure luxe hahahaha for 64.95$.
That was the most pathetic, cheap looking and miserable thing I have ever seen that someone can actually dare to sell as a gift.

You would find those kind of items that were received (cotton candy in a PLASTIC cup, crackers in plastic wrap instead of Belgian truffles and Italian chocolates) on the street markets in some SE Asian countries and that would cost around 1$!

What a humiliation, embarrassment and pain I felt when my daughter sent me the pictures, unbelievable!

But the worst thing is that these fraudsters and cheaters insult your intelligence and have audacity to offer you a store credit of 30$ considering you so stupid, naive and illiterate, as if you were going to ever again buy something from their site.

What a joke, what a sh.tshow!!!

And they still work, still cheating and stealing money from the customers!

Do not use this company. We bought flowers and then after reading the numerous bad reviews we requested to cancel the order within the advertised 60mins. We have called the three times and each time we were told a refund was processed, which he hadn’t been. We then spoke to another person who ‘attempted’ to email two seperate email address so that we could ‘confirm’ we wanted a refund but no emails came through, the phone call then disconnected. Each time the customer service member was uninterested, rude or completely incapable. 0/10 would not recommend.
