NZ Blooms - appalling
If it was possible to give less than one star and run into the negatives, I’d give it. I ordered a bouquet for my mother’s birthday, and was so happy that I’d arranged for other deliveries as well, because the bouquet that arrived was limp and petals turning brown.
After providing a 1-star review, a response from NZ Blooms advised that they saw their customer service team was already in touch. Nope.
They eventually offered two options: a replacement or a store credit.
They reneged on the replacement for some ridiculous reason, so I chose the only option I was left: a store credit.
Still no code, and it’s doubtful I’ll get one.
Do not waste your money on this business.
The product and the customer service is appalling with absolutely no intention demonstrated by the owners to put anything right.
Flowers from the supermarket is much better quality and far cheaper.

The online ordering process was easy, the delivery arrived on time, but the actual bouquet was undersized, looked wilted, old, tatty, dehydrated and browning at the edges. These were not fresh.
I ordered "supersize" and it came with a $125 price tag but what I received was anything other than impressive. If this was supersize, I'd hate to think what 'regular' looked like.
I know it IS possible, as I've ordered flowers from different places many times before. I requested assistance and complained to their customer service twice, but received ZERO contact in return.
Would certainly not recommend and would warn anyone against using NZ BLOOMS in the future.
Bitterly disappointed with this experience.

Never again! I ordered from Australia to be delivered the same day as they provided that option. Someone from the company rang and said they could not meet that deadline and it would be the next day. They would include chocolates as a bonus, nothing I could do as I had paid.
The flowers arrived wilted and mainly leaves....not like the photo I ordered the biggest bunch and it looked like the smallest bunch and they threw in a random chocolate bar.
Very disappointed and embarrassed,my sister deserved beautiful flowers for her birthday.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I called to check on an order that hadn't been delivered. The person I spoke to was so rude and coughed and spluttered in my ear. They then hung up on me. Do not use this company.

Scammers. I ordered a bouquet for my friend and what arrived is nothing like what was in the photo depicted. Also there were daisy’s in the bouquet in which i had paid $100+ dollars for and the flowers were half dead. It seriously looked like they had went out to their backyard and picked 5 of the most dead flowers and put it in a bouquet. Very much a scam, no wonder they rang me offering to include free chocolate. Scammers.
arrived 2 days late and thirsty
I ordered the premium sunshine bliss bouquet, it arrived 2 days late and the quote from the recipient was ‘they look like they’ve spent a few days in a truck’. Which is exactly what happened!! With no water! After paying for same day delivery - which they refused to refund!
The bouquet did not even closely match the picture on the website, with a few roses and not much more.
I wish I could share photos here because what a waste of money.

'Deluxe' Mason Jar bouquet…
I ordered the deluxe Mason Jar bouquet for a bereavement. They arrived a day late and the bouquet was absolutely appalling. A tiny offering nothing like the photo, and it was already dying. 10 small stems in total for $100 plus $15 for (late) delivery. The roses were fully opened and curled at the edges, the gerbera by the next day (1 day after it was delivered) had flopped over and were dead. The only thing still alive was the few sprigs of green fernery and some alstroemeria. I received two auto generated replies when I complained, advising no refunds, but I could have a store credit or another bouquet delivered. As if I would want to go there again! Do not use this company.

Sadly I had not read reviews. Just thought I had chosen a company in region as it came up on top. Ordered flowers for special occasion, next day delivery. On day of delivery I started receiving messages they could not be delivered. All different reasons. Terrible service. Still have not seen the flowers. They due not try to help me at all.

No they don’t do same day delivery even though it states that on the website they rang after I placed my order and said it would be delivered the next day then I get an email saying it would be 5 days later they also promised a refund of the same day delivery of $5 when I paid $19.95 it’s a scam never use them again

SCAM - not a NZ company
DO NOT USE!! My mum tried to send me a 40th flower bouquet and she paid a few hundred dollars. Never arrived and then she tried to complain and found all the negative reviews - they are total scammers. Multiple reports to commerce commission - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Connections abroad and I ever did see the flowers and my mum had to use her bank to get money back for the fraud. Awful they can still operate!!

Paid $115 for a Mother’s Day deluxe boutique. Flowers arrived wilted and tiny. Asked for a refund, was told I couldn’t get a refund but instead a store credit. Store credit never arrived, instead refunded only $40. Don’t order from this company.

It cannot understand why I am upset that I paid for same-day delivery but got delivery days later. Very poor. Order from a real company - companies like this shouldn't be allowed.

Zero rating actually. Last Saturday @ 7am I rang Blooms thinking they were a small florist shop in Mt Eden, Auckland to send flowers to Davis Funeral Chapel, 109 Foninion Rd, Mt Eden, Auckland. We were meant to fly to my partner John’s dear of 70 years friends funeral on the Sat from Christchurch but as I’d just come out of hospital my Doctor advised I was unfit to fly, John is unable to travel on his own. When I placed the order $167.06 total cost it was ONLY on the understanding, which they promised to have them with Davis Funeral Chapel by 11.30am that morning. They didn’t arrive & Davis Funeral staff advised me I’d need to redirect them to 400 St John’s Rd, Meadowbank, Auckland where the funeral was taking place @ 2.20pm. I call Blooms, 14 times 1/2 wat through the call centre conversation they cut me off. They also cut the Funeral staff off 4 times as they were trying to track them down as well. Eventually, 15th call centre lady called Annie said she was on the phone to the courier to redirect him to make sure he went to the Meadowbank address by 2.15 & told me not to cry as I was pretty distraught by then. The flowers. Ever arrived, the incredible Davis Funeral staff waited there way after the service & internment until 4.30 (4pm Blooms say is the latest they’d ever deliver flowers). They never arrived. When Davis Funeral staff called them Blooms call centre advised they were going to email me. I’d asked numerous times, before getting cut off for a full refund but they took our money & won’t reply to me, nor email has ever arrived.
I’ve gone on their chat line but all I get is ‘we will get back to you shortly’!!!
Where do I go from here? There doesn’t seem to be a phone number for the accounts department of Blooms. It’s the worst experience, and the most upsetting I have ever experienced in my 70 years and in Johns 81 years. Those flowers were important to us, important that Johns friend of 70 years who he used to flat with, ride motor bikes with, he would visit us in Christchurch and the 2 old friends spoke with each other every Sunday. But WHAT CAN I DO, HOW CAN I GET HELP, OR GET THROUGH TO A STAFF NEMBER AT BLOOMS THAT WILL TEFUND OUR MONEY. They can never fix the anxiety & sadness we experienced by their lack of care, total lack of service and NO FLOWERS.
UPDATE: I HAVE MADE FURTHER ENQUIRIES AND SPOKEN TO OUR BANK, THEY ADVISED ME THAT THEY HAD ABOUT 20 CALLS ABOUT THIS COMPANY RE MOTHERS DAY FLOWERS ORDERED AND NOT ARRIVING. THE COMPANY HAS NOW CHANGED ITS NAME TO BIX NZ FLOWERS AND GIFTS AUCKLAND. I HAVE BEEN ADVISED ITS AN INTERNATIONAL FRAUDULENT COMPANY THAT SCAM PEOPLE. PLEASE DO NOT FOR YOUR FINANCES AND HEARTBREAK USE THIS COMPANY.
