Absolute garbage
Absolute garbage. New owners brought this on board; it is tricky to use and even more difficult to understand; and don't even look at the help section; it is non existant. Reports are poor; navigating around the software is impossible. Reconciling the bank is a nightmare. Have to keep flicking from one permission to another just to do a basic job; slowed me down 50%; as a result work will not get done. Shocking.
Not for small business - beware
I have used this product in the past, and generally believe it is acceptably functional. This is why I chose it for my small business. However, the scoping and "hard-sell" approach they used was misleading (arguably deceptive). They were unable to provide a live demo environment due to systems issues, but then pushed the office administrator into making a quick decision to receive discounted pricing.
The onboarding was disjointed, and most of our concerns during the scoping were not shared with the onboarding team. Netsuite began billing a full 45 days before reaching out to begin the process. 6 months later, we had hit several roadblocks that the Netsuite team eventually said would require additional "partners" to solve - the specific partners we stated during onboarding that we do NOT want to use.
When the senior account person walked through our reasons for wanting to abandon the product, he said very clearly that he doesn't blame us for the decision... "this product is not going to work for you".
Overall horrible experience. NOT for small business, and no apparent integrity from the company.
Product is trash, support is trash
Product is trash, service is trash. We are paying hundreds of thousands for their product and premium support. We had simple software issues that were broken. It's delayed our implementation for months. Premium support is unresponsive for 45+ days. The sales team acts like they care but no one in support cares.
Poor Quality Timesheet Web Product
The timesheet web product has a lot of problems. Everything about it is bad: quality, performance, interface, and accessibility. It's slow and hard to use. If you make a mistake or it takes too long, you can lose all your data.
I hope the company uses it because it's cheap; otherwise, they're getting ripped off.
Never set up correctly and no customer service
I was extremely dissatisfied with the service and support provided by NetSuite over the past year. Unfortunately, my experience has been fraught with numerous issues, ultimately leading me to decide not to renew our contract.
From the outset, the implementation of NetSuite was handled incorrectly, causing significant disruptions to our business operations. Whenever we encountered an issue, the standard resolution offered was to purchase an additional module, which felt more like a sales strategy than a genuine effort to resolve our problems.
Moreover, the pricing structure for essential features such as payroll and profit and loss by jobs was not made clear upfront, leading to unexpected costs that strained our budget. Throughout our time with NetSuite, I found that no one seemed to have the necessary expertise to fix the issues we faced. Despite numerous requests to speak with supervisors, I was consistently told that our problems could be solved by spending more money, which was both frustrating and unacceptable.
Compounding these issues was the frequent turnover of our account manager, who changed four times within the year. This lack of continuity meant that no one had a clear understanding of our account history or ongoing issues, resulting in repeated explanations and a general lack of progress in resolving our concerns.
It is evident that the primary focus was on receiving payment rather than providing effective solutions and support. This approach has left us with a system that does not meet our needs and has caused considerable disruption to our operations.
Not so "Suite"
Not so "Suite" - Highly DO NOT recommend NetSuite
First, ensure all departments are involved in the evaluation and decision making process. Do a proper analysis, TCO, ROI etc and ensure you look at different platforms. Also, I recommend starting with specific pain points and evaluating the system with how well it eliminates those, but also understanding what new pain points will be created so you can properly evaluate the pros and cons.
Also pre-decision, ensure whatever company/consultants you are working with truly understand your business model and how you operate daily.
The amount of times during sandbox setup when I asked how to do something in Netsuite our current system can easily do and the response was "no" or "not natively" or "that module wasn't purchased" was maddening. Everything seems to be a custom workflow or custom programming to make it work the way we need it to. And even then it's extremely kludgy, hard to learn and operate, painstakingly slow, and not intuitive at all.
Also, the price during implementation went up because the further we went into the weeds, we realized all the things it couldn't do, then needed to pay other systems and middle to make integrations work.
Overall, this is a very niche system, I could see in some business models where it could be beneficial, especially inventory management, but for most companies, I'm positive there are better marketplace alternatives.
The worst ERP system I have ever used
If you are a UK business, particularly medium-sized or smaller, don't even consider it.
We took legal action on the grounds that the product was mis-sold.
1) Many features and processes that we were promised are not actually available.
We were meticulous during the sales pitch, and were told with confidence that the system could definitely do it all. It definitely can't. Del boy would be so proud of them.
2) Implementation was the stuff of nightmares.
The implementation team didn't understand us or our requirements at all, and language barriers meant that we were never really understood. Again we were told "it'll be ok" to everything, but it wasn't. The list I could write would be huge.
3) Incredibly slow.
The implementation team said that it would be faster after go-live, as the test server is deliberately given less processing power. Of course it was no different.
Eventually we abandoned Netsuite in favour of something basic but functional, with legal action taken on the grounds of mis-selling it.

As an company, our experience with NetSuite implementation has been nothing short of a nightmare. From start to halfway through our three-year deal, the incompetence and lack of understanding exhibited by the consultants have left us deeply regretting our decision to opt for this platform.
Firstly, it's evident that the consultants assigned to us have never truly run operations before. Their lack of practical knowledge and inability to adapt the platform to our specific processes has been shocking. If you're expecting NetSuite to seamlessly integrate with your operations, think again. It's a far cry from the reality.
Comparing NetSuite to a $50 Xero account platform would be an insult to Xero. At least with Xero, you get what you pay for. NetSuite, on the other hand, seems solely interested in extracting money from its customers without delivering on its promises.
The support, touted as premium, is practically non-existent. Even with the supposedly top-tier support package, we've struggled to get any meaningful assistance. It's infuriating to think that we're paying a premium for a service that doesn't even bother to provide basic support.
Halfway through our three-year contract, we're already exploring options to ditch this trash of a platform. The inefficiency, lack of support, and overall disappointment have made it abundantly clear that NetSuite is not worth the trouble. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of NetSuite if you value your sanity and operational efficiency.
I mean you are better going back to pen and paper. As least you won’t have to deal with this nonsense.

We agreed to install NetSuite 3 months ago. After 6 conference calls, we were informed we need to purchase yet more software for our application.
Seems at NetSuite barcoding inventory is a very high hurdle technology wise…. We’re going back to excel which has more inventory functionality and limit our $ exposure to NetSuite. When we asked about cancelling our contract, we were informed that we will be sent to legal!!!! By the same sales guy who beg us to sign to hit his $ incentive

Beware! Netsuite is a good concept ran by a terrible company. It is a nightmare for small businesses and borderline fraud. The implementation services are the worst I have ever encountered. Totally incompetent and always a caveat and looking for ways to charge more money. The prices never stop going up and that is their business model. Get you in for big discounts and then charge you outrageous prices to continue the services putting your company in a bind. The prices of our licenses to continue to expand have gone up more than 60% in one year due to not providing the same discounts as the contract even though the rep stated the price for licenses is locked in the contract. They didn't even finish an implementation on an add on package that we purchased from them and the issue was due to their mistake and delay but their answer was, sorry, and they kept the money and we have to find another company to implement it. I would not recommend this software to any company. If you do choose to use it, you better use a 3rd party to implement it and get all possible licenses up front, but you are still going to have to renew and pay the outrageous future prices once they have you in.
Worst cloud ERP system
This is super slow system. It went down for 6 hours in May 2023 (AP Sydney data center) and there was no outreach from NetSuite letting customers know until we followed up with a ticket. The implementation was painful (most NetSuite partners are incompetent at best), and at one year anniverssary, surprise upliftment charges were added to the bill. Once you are migrated to NetSuite, they will make sure to keep raising your fees.
Worst and cheapest system ever
Worst and cheapest system ever. UX in this day and age is actually embarrassing. Never use Netsuite. And if you're working for a company that uses Netsuite, I highly recommend re-evaluating your life choices. You deserve better than this filth.
What a waste of money- Netsuite
What a waste of money! Charging £12K per annum for 3 licence and its basic software. Moreover, a lot of things are wrongly set up and causing issues. I raised query 6 months ago over an additional licence, and they locked me out for not payinfg £212 invoice while taking £4k per quater! you cant get hold of anyone either ./ do not waste your money on it
A fortune wasted with no result
After a year and a small fortune spent on implementation we had to cancel the project. The whole thing was ridiculous. Sales staff sell you the world and make promises that cannot be kept. Implementation team is from across the world and do not understand local legal requirements. Even the maths didn't add up at one point. Woeful and avoid. Looking at all these reviews they don't seem to care. Now they don't even have the decency to reply to our requests to cancel this failure of a project.
NetSuite - 0 Stars!!
NetSuite was horrible to implement. They make it sound so amazing and then provide little to no support, charge excess fees of everything, and currently we are going on 22 hours of our entire site being down where no one can place orders or access their accounts and we've only received one email from NS 8 hours after the outage. We have a company wide outage and no ETA of when we will be back up. Spare yourselves the pain and DO NOT go with NetSuite.

I spent months working with Netsuite's ACS team. What a joke. The only developer with any experience on the team was Caroline. They promoted her and moved her off the team two months after the contract was signed. They moved untested code into production which proceeded to break the commission expense scripts.
