Avoid this seller
Avoid ! This online company Advertise number plates that don’t exist , tried to purchase a number plate from them , had an email back to allow 7 working days to check if it’s available , went over the 7 working days heard nothing ! Contacted them myself as fed up waiting and no surprise it’s not available! . Have tried purchasing this certain plate advertised on several online plate seller websites this one included , no guarantee is provided from the seller that it is for sale. They ask for the purchase money up front and assure you it’s fur sale then the money sits in their account earning interest , just avoid them , waste of peoples time !!! In fairness this one never took any money upfront but communication was bad , just tread carefully with these online plate sellers unless it’s DVLAs main website

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are sorry that your experience did not meet the standard of communication we aim to provide.
We would, however, like to clarify how Netplates operates. We do not take payment for a registration until we have confirmed that it is available and that the seller has the correct paperwork in place to proceed. As you have acknowledged in your review, no payment was taken from you while we were carrying out these checks.
Netplates owns a number of registrations directly, but we also advertise thousands of registrations on behalf of third-party sellers. Consequently, when an enquiry is received for a third-party registration, we have to contact the seller to confirm that the registration is still available and that the necessary documentation is in place before we can proceed with a sale.
Unfortunately, registrations can sometimes be advertised by multiple plate dealers or become unavailable while they are still being advertised elsewhere. This is why we check availability before requesting or accepting payment. We believe this is a much safer approach for customers than taking payment first and attempting to resolve availability afterwards.
We appreciate your feedback and hope this explanation provides some clarity around how our process works.

Satisfied Customer
Having never sold a personalised vehicle registration, I was somewhat wary about some of the companies out in the market. The service and efficiency of Net Plates, however, was both excellent and efficient, far exceeding my expectations. They were extremely helpful at each stage of the sale process and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Good honest people to deal with. My purchase was a bit slower than normal, being over the Christmas and new year break, and the seller losing their retention certificate. But I was kept informed by Natasha.

Very efficient service.
The purchase of the reg. number and subsequent transfer was very efficiently done. The plates themselves were expensive and took too long to arrive.

Dear Terry,
Thank you for your review.
We are glad that you are happy with the service received. We always aim to provide a professional, friendly service.
The number plates are an optional extra which we believe are competitively priced. The price includes delivery to your door. We make and dispatch the plates on the same day they are ordered so that they are ready to use as soon as the registration has been assigned. If buying physical plates elsewhere you would need to wait for the transfer to be completed first before you could purchase plates from a third party supplier. Unfortunately, the postal delivery time is beyond our control.
Please don't hesitate to contact us should you wish to buy or sell a registration in the future.
