Ask for the contracted cash rate
If you don't have fertility insurance, make sure your provider orders your Natera test at the contracted cash rate. Most providers will submit your primary insurance information and if you don't have fertility insurance, you'll get a bill at the insurance rate which is typically 3x+ higher than the contracted cash rate

Deceptive pricing, unhelpful
Was told the test wouldn’t be over a certain price, ended up having to pay double that out of pocket. No help from Natera when I called. Tried paying it with my FSA, won’t send me a receipt despite multiple calls/emails. Dealing with this company has been frustrating and will look for any alternative next time around.

Wonderful Company
Wonderful Company! I just had my 3rd blood draw yesterday. The nurse who came to my house was spectacular. Her name was Tashara and she was painless and was in and out in under 10minutes. She is a true gem and an absolute great asset to your organization. The entire staff at Natera is also fantastic to deal with and you are always treated as family. Keep up the great work; truly love you folks.

If I could give zero stars I would. Honestly they are crooks. They tried to force me to self-pay even though I have insurance and submitted all my paperwork as bill insurance. I had to call and email about 6 times over months to get them to bill my insurance and gave them my information each time. And yet each time I called back they would say they didn't have my insurance information on file. It was beyond creepy. They clearly have a policy where they do a pressure campaign to get you to self-pay for months before they will bill insurance. Self-pay would have cost me less than $300 if I paid up front but I thought going through insurance would save me money. Wrong. Then they billed my insurance almost $9,000 for a Horizon Custom panel and I ended up having to pay $370 anyway just for the co-pay (had already met my deductible). Unbelievable. They must be a monopoly otherwise how could they get away with this. Lastly, it looks like the positive reviews on this site are fake. They are all vague, one-line reviews and mostly added to the site May-July 2025.

Lost Test Samples + No Customer Service Help
Natera told me they received my test samples. I made an account and could see the two test samples had been received but not processed. I checked my account the next day and it said no tests received. I tried to contact customer service. There is no actual person who answers the phone. I have used the chat feature and all it can tell me is my tests may take up to 5 days to be received. It has been over 7 days.

Missed appointment first appointment they didn’t show up called me an hour after appointment time and said they needed to reschedule and would call me back on Monday but no one called so I called and they rescheduled for this Sunday and once again no one called or showed up. Not a very good company for keeping their commitments

I ordered an at home test from them; first one gets lost, second one is then sent to me which is now a saliva test and more expensive then the first (due to their own delays).
We receive a bill that is nearly 3x what was expected. I call one of their billing support reps and ask to receive an itemized bill. The support rep informs me that it is company policy to only share itemized bills AFTER the bill has been fully paid???
Horrendous company, stay far far away. Companies like this, colluding with insurance companies to jack up the prices for everyday consumers is the downfall of the American healthcare industry. Anyone who works at this company should truly be ashamed.

Raine was the best part of my day
Raine was the best part of my day. Terrific and thoughtful help. We needed to change an email address and the system wouldn’t let us do so due to an issue with the email address also having been used by another patient (husband). Raine did everything to help. Her service, demeanor, knowledge, assistance, everything was all one hopes to receive when calling customer service. You are lucky to have employees who care so much! I’ve been doing my job for 30 years, she’s a gem.

Jaimie was very friendly and personable. She's an excellent people person. She also explained everything very well and was very pleasant to work with. She is an asset to your company. I only wish all business that had to deal with people and instruct them over the phone we're half as professional and pleasant as her.

Outstanding Service
My patient coordinator was Jaimie. She did an outstanding job with explaining everything to me from giving the sample, to submitting it. She seems to be a person who loves her job, and it shows. She's someone we definitely need more of nowadays!
