Transaction on hold
Was told that my weekly payment from work is on hold for security checks for transfers made over £200 yet this has never happened before and wasn't informed on this. Now I'm in a negative balance due to this. They need to communicate this better with customers of these changes and find a better way of dealing with these security checks.

It is out of our control, this is a measure taken by the bank EMLpayments.
Note that you can still use these Locked funds to make payment to merchants (Offline/Online) and to make withdraws.
