My trip to Egypt was amazing! I was there for ten days, and I got some great help from both of my tour guides. The guides were outstanding. I really enjoyed learning about all the different sites I visited.

I took so many pictures, and I'll have memories that will last a lifetime. I'm the first person in my family to every go to Egypt. In fact most of my peers never been.

Thank you Kevin for all of your follow up emails. I was so concerned about the process being my first time, but Kevin was there every step with me; communicating with me and addressing all my questions.

Well organized tour with fantastic tour guides. Everything went smoothly , even when we had to cancel for two travelers in the group, the effectiveness of the refund process was amazing. I worked with VIVIAN to put together a 19 day trip this Summer to CHINA including an extra leg to Tibet. She has been BRILLIANT. I have been really pleased with the SPEED of response and FLEXIBILITY over all the details in the itinerary. Feels like these guys can do anything you want which is great help in a foreign country, when travelling with young teenagers. I especially liked the explanation from LOCAL KNOWLEDGE on what order to see things and how best to travel around - well done! All done by email. Really looking forward to the Summer trip.

I found My Odyssey Tours online through reviews on TripAdvisor with great ratings for the planning. I give them 5 stars for everything. Allison helped us customize a tour for the things we wanted to do in Cambodia and Thailand, it was half the price of almost everything else we looked at, we had excellent accommodations, great food options, great drivers and guides (the best in Siem Reap and Bangkok). We were really surprised when the area rep met us on our arrival to Siem Reap and gave us each a small welcome present. Outstanding customer service! Will recommend without reservation!

Our tour (two people) was very well planned, executed and monitored by Nikki. All our accommodation was at or exceeded the standard we had agreed. Very well paced tour over 23 days in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam with very good English speaking guides that had a high degree of knowledge and were extremely helpful in every respect. We did not experience any problems or issues and would recommend Odyssey Tours without reservation.

What an incredible surprise in My Odyssey Tours! I had such a wonderful experience working with Liz Ling for my 18+ day trip to Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia in November. I didn't even start planning this trip until August when I stumbled upon the My Odyssey web site. I was a little nervous going with a company I had never heard of but was delighted with all the help Liz provided. She was kind and accommodating, despite me changing the trip dates on numerous occasions.

Once the trip started, Liz was never further than an email away, and I did need some help. First, my plane was landing amid a prediction of a typhoon, but Liz let me know that all would be well. My travelling companion was coming from a different direction and Liz also let me know where she was along the way. Then, several days into the trip, we found out that our next hotel had been flooded. Liz found us an equally nice hotel to stay at so that we were able to continue our tour.

Each time I contacted Liz, she was incredibly prompt to respond. That woman must never sleep!! I felt like I had my own little guiding light on this trip because Liz was there.

I know there are other tour companies that provide a similar service because we talked to other travellers along the way. But not only did we have a fine agent planning our tour, we also did so at an incredibly reasonable price. The private tour was actually less expensive than other group tours I had taken. Having our own guide and driver in each location meant that we had the freedom to change the travel plans -- to stay longer, to go back to the hotel sooner, and to get personal tips on restaurants to try.

I cannot say enough good things about My Odyssey and look forward to planning another adventure in the future.

For a father(67)/son(24) trip over Christmas 2017 and New Year's 2018, we arranged for MyOdyssey and in particular their agent Eason Wong(Xiao Tao) to handle our logistics. Our schedule was unique to us as far as the timing was concerned and Eason did a great job of helping us design our travels. Working with Tours Moroc, who supplied us with a wonderful driver, Ouali Abdelhaq, who made sure we saw all that we had signed up for and added more.

Our trip began and ended in Casablanca traveling to Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fez, Erfoud, Ouarzazate, Marrakesh, Toubkal, Essaouria and points inbetween. We rode camels and mules and visited apes and goats -- besides being introduced to the good people of Morocco.

No travel is without a few unpleasant surprises, but ours -- the boiler at one of the wonderful riads where we were to stay exploded -- was handled quickly and effeciently by Eason and Abdelhaq while we were in route to Fes. We were rebooked into a great place at a great location in the medina near the Blue Gate.

In a wonderful surprise, we were upgraded in Marrakesh to the Savoy Le Grand Hotel (not in the medina about a reasonable walk for us and a much better stay). As we were in Marrakesh for 4 nights this was a wonderful experience.

While your driver is not your guide exactly, Abdelhaq was our good companion for two weeks on the road (and having seen what he was dealing with on the road I'm glad we handed the transportation to him rather than trying to handle those chores ourselves). He made sure we were the right places at the right times without any hassle on our part.

I would not hesitate to recommend My Odyssey, Eason Wong and Oudi Abdelhaq as your travel support team in Morocco.

Excellent and well organized trip to Vietnam and Cambodia in accordance with our wishes. Our organizer from Odyssey tour, Miss Liz Ling, have done her best to make our trip most enjoyable for our 50th wedding anniversary.Everything was well prepared prior to our departure . Private guides well educated, attentive to our needs, nice hotels with a personal welcome and tailormade excursions out of the crowded tourist areas.

I worked with Bryant Yang Travel Consultant who created a 14 day Viet Nam private tour package from Hanoi to Saigon. I cannot thank Bryant enough for arranging an amazing tour for me, it was flawless. Noting that Bryant assisted with air travel from Hong Kong to Hanoi and a final destination to Bangkok including return travel to Hong Kong. I want to express great appreciation to the tour guides specifically Quang in Hanoi (driver happy Buddha) and Phuong in Saigon amazing guides, keep them working as they are so accommodating. Hotel choices were great specifically La Siesta Trendy in Hanoi. I will call upon My Odyssey Tours again at some time in the future when I want to return to Asia and work with Bryant again.

I would definitely recommend My Odyssey Tours to my friends. They were very flexible to accommodate our needs and times with coordinating a driver and guide thru Morocco. They even went beyond to help us coordinate our exit from Morocco to Spain with ferry tickets and transportation schedules. Our driver Mr. Ouassama from Pure Morocco was wonderful. Not only did he drive us for 10 days (which is nice to have a consistent person), he was also our "mini" guide explaining local customs, traditions and explanations of places we stopped or passed while enroute to our next destination.

We travelled to Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand during the last two weeks of December 2017, probably the best time of the year to visit these countries. Vietnam was overall fantastic, especially the Halong Bay Area in the north close to Hanoi and Mekong delta in the south near Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) city. Our guides in both of these areas were quite helpful and pleasant people. Ms. Trinh who toured us to various historical areas of Hanoi was fantastic with a wealth of knowledge on every topic of interest. Cruising the Halong bay on Au Co ship was a gem. The scenery, the service, the food, and the entertainment was superb.

Cambodia was interesting just to visit Angkor Wat temple and a couple of others. However, the food was questionable and we got sick for a day which took away some of the thril of the visit. We completed our trip with three days of relaxation in the island of Phuket, Thailand before heading back home.

Overall, it was a fantastically organized vacation by Mr. Reinself Wei of Odyssey tour company. Obviously, aside from the minor hiccup in Cambodia, it was a marvelous trip visiting some amazing locations and learning a good deal about the three countries, their peoples, and their histories.

We just got back from our nearly 4 week tour in South East Asia which was planned for us by My Odyssey Tours. I love to travel (64 countries so far) and simply put, this was among the best travel experiences I've ever had.
Starting with the tour planner Nikki Xia. She was responsive; always getting back to me within 24 hours despite the time zone differences and worked with me to design a wonderful itinerary.
However, a great company really only shows it's true colours when things go haywire. Due to weather conditions and several unexpected layovers, we ended up arriving a day and a half later than expected. This of course threw our touring schedule off completely. We were in touch with Nikki the whole time and she was able to pull together accommodation changes that allowed us to keep the things that we wanted to do most in Hanoi. We ended up missing the cruise on Halong Bay ( which was disappointing) but our guide Vinh pulled together a new plan on the fly and took us to Ninh Binh province to see the land locked version of the Limestone mountains that make Halong Bay so picturesque. We also got a boat ride and visited caves at Ninh Binh, so ended up feeling like we didn't miss anything after all!
The rest of the trip was equally wonderful. We kept a pretty busy schedule but never felt like we were being rushed through anything. The guides were all enthusiastic and knowledgeable and really seemed genuinely keen to share their country with us. Several had really interesting backgrounds (2 had been Buddhist monks and one was a former archaeologist) This made for some great conversations. The vehicles provided to take us around were all modern, spacious and comfortable. (I have to admit I got pretty spoiled being handed a fresh cold cloth and a new bottle of water every time we got in the car )
We opted for the more modest 3 star lodgings and were pleasantly surprised. All were good and several were exceptional (favourites included the Hanoi East Central, Little Hoi An Boutique Hotel, Nam Bo Boutique Hotel in Can Tho and the Parasol Blanc Hotel in Luang Prabang)
Breakfast at the hotels was fine (I'm not a fan of warming pan buffets but the there was always lots of other choices so I never left the table unsatisfied.) The included lunches were almost always excellent. Most of the restaurants they took us to for lunch provided a set menu with multiple dishes. This gave us a chance to try different things in each new location and discover food we otherwise wouldn't have known to order. Never went hungry; in fact, half the time we ended up skipping dinner entirely because we were still too full from lunch, (we did go out for dessert a few nights though).
The itinerary (we visited Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand) was active but never so much that we didn't feel we could handle it. I also have to say that the places to visit that they included were excellent choices. I don't recall ever during the month thinking that "we could have left this off", All in all an excellent trip, well planned and one which gave great value. I heartily recommend My Odyssey Tours.
