Expensive and Yielded No Results

I used Mylance's "Done For You" lead generation service:

Ultimately, you end up paying $1,000 a month for someone to send LinkedIn messages on your behalf. They force you to commit to three months upfront and offer no refunds. It's a great idea but the execution is not worth a $3,000 commitment.

Again, we’re so sorry to know you had this experience working with us! To respond, I’d like to clear up a few things:

1. We have a minimum 3-month commitment to give the campaigns time to have success. After the first campaign pivot, yours did start to see success. With more time to unfold, we would have seen those results start to compound. Marketing campaigns take time. There are no quick silver-bullets in marketing, and we do make that clear upfront

2. We partner with our customers to work with us to nail down an ICP (ideal customer profile) and positioning. When we start with a blank slate on who to target and how to position your expertise, the campaigns usually need some iterations to find what messaging resonates with what audience. This is true for marketing for any business and finding traction in month 2 or 3 is really impressive.

3. The top value props that we bring to the table are: (1) We take this off your plate entirely (2) We curate an incredibly detailed lead list that you can’t get elsewhere (3) We watch and iterate on your campaigns for you and (4) We do the sales that you ‘probably’ don’t enjoy.

It’s disappointing to see this review after seeing your campaign start to yield results, but it seems like expectations were misaligned from the beginning. Nevertheless, I hope some of those positive replies turn into clients and this ends up being a positive ROI investment for you!

Great opportunities to learn and connect with Mylance!

I've really enjoyed being a part of the Mylance community. I've had the opportunity to meet great and interesting people who have similar career goals and are always supportive and willing to help each other out! I was part of one of the 3 month cohorts for aspiring consultants run by Bradley -- we met weekly and I found the meetings and exercises very valuable. They made me think strategically and differently about how to approach my own consulting business. Bradley is able to use his experience, as well as that of those in the community around him, to create exercises and resources that are incredibly valuable to individuals aspiring to have similar consultant career paths to him. I also joined some of the virtual networking sessions and was able to make some great connections there!

Great Experience

Bradley and team strike a great balance of hand on support, collaboration within the cohorts and providing materials to help start and grow a consulting business. I started with the accelerator class last year then moved on to the led-gen portion of the program this year. The strategies, templates, and guidance were key to help working through the challenge of starting as a freelancer and consultant.

Great Experience with the Lead Generation Cohort program

The Lead Generation Cohort program has been well worth the investment. Through the weekly calls, I've gained useful insights that have focused my approach and mindset toward growing my consulting business. The leads the Mylance team identified broadened the scope of opportunities I had previously considered and were not leads I would have found on my own.

Great tool for consultants

The web template is good - and the team gives you plenty of resources to figure out how to maximize your portfolio on your page. That info can really help launch successfully.

I think the strength of MyLance is in the community they're building. Consulting can be a lonely existence. Having people to bounce ideas off of, share wins/losses and just generally connect is a fantastic resource. The only reason I'm moving on is I am stepping away from building my coaching practice to operate a franchise I had the opportunity to purchase.

BRADLEY LIED IN HIS ADS AND KEPT MY $10k

MY EXPERIENCE:
Mylance has not provided a single cent of a refund. I have documented evidence of my conversations with Bradley and his advertisements. I'd take Bradley's guarantees with a grain of salt. I've also seen that he's moved AWAY from the Accelerator. That's suspicious if you stand behind your product?

After a year of trying to get this business off the ground, it is clear to me that Bradley is quite clueless. He uses buzzwords and throws questions back at participants to hide his lack of expertise.

RACIAL UNDERTONES:
As a person of color from a modest background, it is clear that Bradley has no concept of working with people of color. I constantly felt like Bradley minimized my experiences and oversold his capabilities. He used my trust to squeeze 10k, has never apologized for lying in his advertisements that GUARANTEED a $10k/month business, and continues to deflect any attempts at a resolution.

MY INITIAL EXPERIENCE:
Bradley sold Mylance to me with the guarantee of a 5-figure/month business, then blocked me when I told him I was not satisfied and ask for a refund. Mylance claims to guarantee 5-figure businesses. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and worked with him for 5+ months. After it was clear Mylance was not going to provide the 5-figure/month business. I asked for a refund. After admitting his advertisements that he did not follow through on his guarantee, he claims his terms don’t allow for refunds after a period of time.

It felt to me as though Bradley was making up terms as he went along in order to keep my money. My trust has withered. I’m extremely disappointed that I spent so much time believing Bradley would follow through on his business guarantees.

Edit after Mylance’s reply:

I've already emailed you, and you blocked my address and shut the door in my face.

At the beginning of 2022, Mylance wrote this in their email ad “We guarantee you’ll leave this program with a 5-figure per month consulting business”.

There was also a satisfaction guarantee that Mylance posted. Months later they added that refunds had to be requested within two weeks — a notice that I never received.

Bradley claimed that too much time had passed to get a refund. So, I gave Bradley MORE time, and he turns and says it’s my fault for waiting too long to ask for a refund?

I have photos of all this content. Bradley has proven to me that he will go lengths to keep up Mylance’s appearance without taking responsibility for the short comings. I have spoken with his investor, Nicholas, who agreed that Bradley made guarantees that were false. Unfortunately, they are friends as well as business partners. Nicholas was unwilling to do the right thing and press Bradley to return customers' money.

All I ask is that Mylance refunds my purchase.
