Booking was straightforward and cost was fair and comparable to other shippers. Extra insurance was available which was good. Chose the upgraded shipping with pallet shipping for a 20' K1600GT. Shipping from IL to CO. Pick up was fast. Good pick up emails. No inspection report was provided at time of pick up and sent ahead and no pictures were taken. While CRST was the designated shipper the bike was transferred over to a local carrier in Denver (hub) as I can surmise and then it went south. The delivery of the bike was a hot mess after that. No one answered the phone at being several hours late and wondering if they were ever going to show up. Finally called after I left like 10 messages and made a PITA of myself. Bike was being delivered to a dealership. Truck showed up that had my bike jammed inside with boxes of freight all over falling everywhere making it super hard to get off the pallet and off the truck (this was not how the shipping was advertised by Motorcycle Shippers so that was a major minus for cost paid) (yes I have pictures to prove this) Bike was on a small pallet that was falling apart and the bike was jammed up against the wall with like 2-3inches of clearance from the wall and side cases. Bike was not tied down properly (who puts a strap through the rear wheel spokes?). Straps used where not as advertised. It took no less then 30 minutes to get the bike off the super wobbly old 5tn truck. Liftgate was to small and the bike was about fall off as the two mover tried to get my bike off while the dealership staff and I looked on in shear amazement and horror. Only God kept my bike from falling off the truck or getting damaged while I voiced my concerns and assisted the moving guys by operating the lift gate while both of them held my bike on the lift gate. I was very displeased in the manner in which the bike was delivered. Upon inspection I had no idea if some of the scratches on the side cases happened during delivery or not. Since I had to guess I just didn't bother at this point. I would recommend CRST find a different better local delivery company. Swap out old broken pallets and make them bigger so they actually provide wider protection around larger bikes with cases and use proper strap and tie down per the owners manual that clearly shows how to tie down. Not move expensive motorcycle in a freight truck full of crappy boxes.

Just booked shipping online today for a motorcycle. Yesterday, I had a few questions and the rep I talked with was very knowledgeable and informative. I feel comfortable with the shipping process so far. We’ll see how the rest goes.

Stay away! They may offer you a good price, but that’s how they get you. They have me a great price and a 6-week approximate delivery window. I had no problem waiting the full six weeks because I got such a good price.

However, it’s now been almost one month past the six week window and I still have yet to receive my book. They claim it’s because the shipping company is backed up, but the bike have been sitting five hours from the destination for over a month, so I’m having a hard time buying that reason. They gave me a second estimated delivery window in which the bike also failed to be delivered.

When I call and talk to them about it, the person coordinating my shipment was not helpful and at times rude, but I appreciated talking to his boss. They also gave me a small refund for the delay after I asked for one, but when I asked for an additional refund after the second time they didn’t keep their word, they said they could not offer one.

Everything was great working with this company except actually getting my bike delivered and picked up.
