Shoving cards for different people in one envelope again!!!! What cheapskates

Just got another two cards from my sister for 2 different people (twins) in 1 envelope. How does this work??? Do I hand them out ? The best part of a card is opening it and maybe finding birthday money.
Replying to my other 1* review saying they will resend with envelopes is very different to their response to me directly which was“Hi Elizabeth, thank you for contacting us here at Moonpig! You've reached Leah. I'm sorry to hear are unhappy……When ordering multiple of the same size card to the same address and for the same date, we will join them together. This saves on your postage cost.“
Let me get this straight- I pay €5 a card more or less and they can’t put each one in a simple envelope that costs pennies and put the two cards in a delivery envelope. My mind is blown ! Horrendous lack of attention to detail. Now my twins had cards again in one envelope. Pitiful considering your profit margins. Never again.

Received Hotel Chocolat chocolates as a…

Received Hotel Chocolat chocolates as a gift from a family member. They arrived with a 3 week bb date, some chocolates were white and didn't taste great. I contacted Moonpig directly and explained, they sent another box of chocolates, these have a 5 week shelf life, so not much better. I personally wouldn't use Moonpig anyway, definitely wouldn't now.

Don't bother!

I live outside the UK but in Europe. My husband and son ordered my birthday cards nearly 4 weeks in advance and today my actual birthday, only my husband's card turned up. This is after complaining to Moonpig and having the cards sent a 2nd time. Cards are ordered for special reasons and if Moonpig can't deliver they shouldn't offer the service. For years we used Moonpig without issue so I'm assuming there's been internal changes in the company. So today they lost 2 more customers. I stopped using them earlier this year when in order to pay for a card I had to run through pages and page of rubbish just like a budget airline.

Awful!!!
Celebrating our first wedding Anniversary!
Following day, just got a message from their delivers, Royal Hopeless that my card will be delivered the following day afternoon
Gutted! Have taken so much grief from my loving new wife!
Brendon, moonpig’s customer assistant was compassionless
Hie electronic, shrug of the shoulders at my misfortune ang move on to the next unhappy customer
WILL NEVER USE AGAIN & repeat my story to friends verbally and through Social Media at the sheer incompetence of these two compassionless companies

Helped me out when I made mistake

I recently placed an order but due to sausage fingers made an error with the address. Struggled to amend it online as order was already placed
Fortunately was.contacted by Lauren from customer services who sorted it out. Thank you Lauren, renewed my faith in Moonpig

Avoid at all costs

Moonpig delivered gifts 10days before card totally ruining surprise! Having paid £72 for this non service, I am offered £7.99 of my next order. IAMNOT THAT STUPID AND WON'T BE USING THESE CARPETBAGGERS AGIAN.

Avoid this company!!!!!

My husband surprised me with a box of hotel chocolate and card from moonpig the chocolates were out of date old and white in colour i did an online chat and they sent another box of out of date chocolate the next day!!!!!!

More positive experiences than negative for me

I think its difficult reviewing companies like this, as its completely subjective and personal, but I have had a lot more positive experiences than negative.

Ive been in hospital a lot, so Moonpig has been great, as I can send cards easily for loved ones and 95% of the time its delivered on a good, timely manager.

Shocking service and worse customer service! Closed my account!

I ordered cards on 9th July, due for delivery on the 11th. They never arrived. I contacted Moonpig by email and was asked for the order details, which I provided — only to be met with radio silence. After that, my follow-up emails bounced back as undeliverable.

I then tried live chat and was offered either a resend or account credit, which I didn’t want. I requested a refund and was told it had been processed. A week later, with no refund showing, I contacted them again — only to be asked all the same questions I'd already answered. Frustratingly, I was again offered a resend or credit. I explained (again) I wanted a refund. The advisor then questioned who had authorised it, which was irrelevant — the product didn’t arrive, and I was entitled to my money back.

Eventually, I was told the refund had been issued and advised to “contact my bank.” The advisor then abruptly ended the chat, without giving me a chance to reply.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I paid for Moonpig Plus, expecting a premium experience — instead, I got delays, poor communication, and dismissive support. There are too many other competitors now who offer better service and lower prices. I’ll be closing my account and won’t be using Moonpig again.

Ill never order from them again

Ill never order from them again. Utter garbage service. Ordered the card with plenty of time it never arrived. Contacted them, no apology nothing. Just offered to resend which is pointless 3 days after her birthday. I asked if it was ever sent and apparently it was 'lost in transit' so thats a no then.

I ordered 3 items for my nephews…

I ordered 3 items for my nephews birthday on the 9th July. They delivered two items on 4th July and still waiting for the third. They had the audacity of charging me for two deliveries. Tried contacting them by email but it doesn't go through. This is notthe first time I have had bad service both in the UK and Australia. Won't use it again

This company are terrible

This company are terrible. I have used them so many times and the cards dont turn up. I have now finally given up with Moonpig IF you want a card that arrives dont bother with this company. Complete waste of money

Not fit for purpose and no customer service

I really don't know why I keep using them! They promise a discount via email but. As ever when i finally get to payment section they refuse to honour. By then I can't be bothered to start again with a different company.

Now they have sent the card blank without my message. No phone number to complain and get nowhere with their chat AI
Nightmare company and website with no easy customer help.!

Father’s Day card

Ordered a Father’s Day card on 12/06/25 to be sent to my dad in Ireland and still hasn’t arrived to date (19/06/25). Paid £5.54
Emailed a complaint to them and no reply.
Never using them again.

Ruined Father’s Day.

Ruined Father’s Day.
Paid guaranteed delivery for a Father’s Day card on the Saturday and it didn’t show up until late Sunday (not needed by then as we’d already done our Father’s Day outing with our father who lives far away). Asked moonpig for a refund and they said they would credit me with the money for the delivery but that was it. They were incredibly rude and dismissive on emails and said that they wouldn’t be offering any refund for the card as it was personalised.
I’m deeply saddened that a company that makes cards for special occasions wouldn’t own up and compensate when they’ve put a dampener on these special days.
Won’t be using them again.
