Moonpig's "delivery by date" is…
Moonpig's "delivery by date" is apparently just an estimate. I placed my order almost a week in advance and would have selected an earlier delivery date, of which there were plenty available, had the website stated this was an estimated date of delivery.
Instead I selected delivery by Sunday 19th October and Moonpig delayed sending my order until Saturday 18th knowing full well it would not be delivered on a Sunday.
I have tried to complain using their online chat as there is no telephone number for them and have asked for an email address to escalate this further but have been refused!
Obviously, I will not be using Moonpig again.
Disappointed with Incorrect Order and Poor Customer Service
I’ve used Moonpig for years without issue, but this recent experience has really put me off. I ordered a chocolate gift for my dad’s 81st birthday that was supposed to have “Happy Birthday” on it. What arrived instead was just a plain Cadbury wrapping with no message — only a small “Someone Special” note on the box.
Unfortunately, I didn’t think to photograph it at the time (I was more focused on celebrating my dad’s day!). When I contacted Moonpig later, they refused to do anything about it because I didn’t have a photo. My dad lives 25 miles away, and I wasn’t about to make a 50 mile round trip just for proof of their mistake.
I expected better from a company I’ve trusted for years. Even a small gesture like a discount on a future order or part refund would have shown some goodwill. Sadly, the lack of customer care means I’ll be reconsidering using Moonpig again.
'Victim blaming' culture at Moonpig
I received a damaged card sent by moonpig. I had requested it to be sent directly to me not the recipient. I noticed they just use an ordinary paper envelope now not the sturdy ones they used to use. It was probably due to this that the damage happened. Sometime between dispatch and receiving via postal system.
Problems began trying to navigate their chatbot and eventually was transferred to a real person via this chat bot.
They needed photographs of the damage, no problem I had already taken them. Sadly their website kept telling me the photos 'couldn't be sent' no reason given.
The advisor said the problem was me and my equipment. I stated 'I have never had a problem with any other company' moonpig gave no advice on how I could send the photo's to them via a different method. No, was the answer, I needed to sort myself out. They had my order number etc.
I pointed out that the fault lay with moonpig not my system. The chatbot system then timed me out.
No follow up email from moonpig with advice how to resolve this situation. Nothing.
I am concerned now for cards I have sent straight to recipients may also have been received damaged because I do not know how long moonpig have used these inadequate envelopes.
I shall be cancelling my account Moonpig Plus, I'll lose on it but I've already lost over £5 for a card which is unusable and I'm not prepared to risk losing more money with a company that uses 'victim blaming' instead of good customer service..

I ordered a large card with pics from my phone , I arrived with a black box under some of the black printed wording, soI rang up to ask what can I do as I hadn't spotted the black nuisance box an I was disappointed that moonpig hadn't edited it and should I do a new order, I was asked to wait while they got my card up on their screen an immediately they saw the problem and said no need to reorder they will send a new edited one. Yes it arrived but wasn't edited it was the exact same card again, I got onto them again and a different person called Nicola said it cant be edited I'd hav to do a new order but I needed the card that day , had they said this after the first card I would hav been sorted with a new order in time , but I ended up with no card for an important occasion

Useless
Ordered a birthday card which didn't turn up in time for the person's birthday. Apparently it was delayed or lost in transit. Moonpig refused a refund and instead offered to resend the card. What is the point in a replacement when the person's birthday has already passed? It is also ridiculously difficult to be able to talk to an actual human- everything is automated reponses.
Non delivery poor service
The card I ordered for my daughter in Hong Kong has not arrived.
It is now 2 weeks past the promised delivery date date.
I have posted to this address many times ( including with Moonpig ) without problem.
It’s not just “ non delivery “, they are impossible to contact to try and remedy or seek redress.
The Webchat is only a list of information and does not provide a “chat/ dialogue “ option.
I have spent money and Moonpig are the only people to benefit in this transaction.

Moonpigs customer service is awful. Agent Emily disappeared mid chat and 45 mins later returned giving me 3 mins to reply. Won't refund DONT USE
Quick and efficient ordering process
Excellent service. Personalised and ordered card for next day delivery. Ordered at 6pm Friday evening, delivered by midday Saturday. Card was excellent quality too. Thank you Moonpig
Poor service
Had to request a new card as previous one had no warning about not bending it and was forced into a letter box. Replacement produced but no new envelope! The prevous/original one is scrapped as folded/damaged. How stupid can you get! I've paid nearly £10 for a lousy service. Don't bother with this Company.

I ordered 3 personalised birthday cards in Moonpig US and Canada paid 3 separate postage charges. then find out there was a Canada Post strike before my order. I put comments on trustpilot. The response was sorry the card you ordered is not in stock??? I will never order with this company again. Surely they should know when the country you are sending your cards to are experiencing a postal strike. I have asked for a refund but know I will not get one.
Endless hurdles for nothing
How amazing is this company! Well it would be if trying to pay for a card that they don't block you. So now after spending a hour working my way through the endless hurdles that Moonpig use to make shopping on their site a total nightmare. I eventually get to the payment section, only to find that I can't pay through paypal. So I return to baket to look for paypal. There it is that I can pay through paypal. But back to the payment section and more hurdles and again, no paypal. Then they BLOCK me. So I've given up and instead popped to the local shop, bought a card and posted it. Moon Pig like it's title is endless waste of time.

Ordered in plenty of time a gift and card and paid extra for faster/tracking postage for delivery on Monday 29 Sept. Today Wed 1 Oct package still not delivered. One very upset family member who thought we’d forgotten their birthday. Shocking service and can not deliver what they promise. Will NEVER use Moonpig again. Plus put through to 3 different customer service advisors who all seemed to ignore my query and send automated responses. Absolutely useless.

DO NOT USE - I stupidly pay for the yearly membership which up until now had been great. I sent a card using the express delivery and paid £6.50 with a selected delivery date of 25th September. It arrived 30th September. Customer service said it says they have up to 5 working days to deliver an express card - NOT EXPRESS. I requested the difference between the express and normal delivery back which is £5 but Dan on webchat refused repeatedly. I DID NOT RECIEVE WHAT I PAID FOR!!! Why would a upset a loyal customer with a real complaint over £5. Please pass this on to others, they do not deserve peoples business.
Unreliable and Disappointing Service
I paid for a birthday card to be sent and it didn’t arrive on time. A week later Moonpig dispatched another card, but that one was also delayed. I’m not sure what has changed in the company recently, but the service has become extremely unreliable. Really disappointed and I wouldn’t order again.
Useless
Ordered a card in good time for my daughter's 18th birthday. It didn't arrive and i was told by their online chat adviser to wait until 8pm Friday as the card 'could still arrive' It didn't. Her birthday was on Sunday. Saturday's adviser was useless. No card, no effort to make good. Just an offer to resend the card 'for free' (!!!) which would arrive Monday or Tuesday. Thanks for nothing Moonpig :(

Ordered a card and balloon for my 3yr old granddaughter for her birthday. The DPD courier claimed they couldn’t deliver as there was no one in when there had been someone in all day (and a dog that likes to bark when anyone comes to the door) and offered to redeliver said card and balloon THREE DAYS later. Spoke to Moonpig who were supremely disinterested and did absolutely nothing to try and remedy the situation. They literally don’t care about their customers past taking their money.
