They are okay. I use them mostly for YouTube and phone calls and they do that well enough. For music, I wanted a bit more depth, but they are still handy for everyday use.

Absolute POS company with THE WORST customer service I have EVER seen.
Earbuds were decent except a bluetooth connectivity problem where they would connect twice EVERY SINGLE TIME I went to use them (with any device). After trouble-shooting with their support I was advised to return them for repair...
9 MONTHS LATER they advise because I returned them (barely) outside of their 30 day warranty period that they wouldn't refund me but would replace them.
It's been another 4 months since then and I still haven't received anything.
Correspondence is near impossible as you can't phone or contact them online, only email and they will literally take MONTHS to respond and MOST responses aren't even progressing the issue, just an acknowledgement of the email.
Oh and I've tried to leave a review on their own website twice now (once 6 months+ ago and once recently) but neither have actually made it up. Surprise surprise.

Pretty happy with these. They look neat, they are simple to carry around, and the sound is clean. I am taking off one star because the setup guide could be a bit clearer for anyone not used to wireless earbuds.

DO NOT BUY FROM MIFO!!! The earbuds I purchased haven't worked well from the first moment of use. They drop out, lose connection constantly, and are a lesser product than my $40 cheapy earbuds. I have been trying to get a refund for 9 months, since Oct 2025. They generally respond to an email after weeks of follow-ups, with a "apologies for the frustration this must be causing - you are a priority", then nothing. I have now been waiting for the promised return label to be sent for 11 weeks. (Perhaps if sent by email it would only take a minute?)
Mifo has the feel of a scam. Taking your money, then (almost) disappearing.
I have put in a complaint to the ACCC.

I purchased the Sonictrek 11 Earphones on the 16th June 2026 I paid $199.99 my order stated in stock at Altona, Delivery in 3 - 5 days this is now the 11th July and not a sign of my purchase despite many unanswered emails I’ve forwarded.
I have requested my payment to be refunded within 3 business days however no response or updates whatsoever.
Mifo do not list an address or contact phone number and I now understand why!
One is forced to contact through their customer support email which they seldom respond to and when they do same generic reply of sorry we are investigating BULLSHIT!
For those considering buying from MIFO beware. DONT!

I usually do not write reviews, but the experience with Mifo has been such an extraordinary ordeal that I am writing one now. I ordered the Mifo 05 in January this year. When they arrived, the right earbud did not charge and hence I immediately started the return process. I was met with a complete non-response both through their website and via email. After repeated messages, I only received a response after threatening to report them to the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission. After many more messages from my end, I eventually received a return address and confirmation that the items have been received. However, I have still not received a refund. I have now had to raise a dispute through my bank and have reported them to ACCC. I would NEVER buy with them again and hope they get shut down.

When I used them during a long drive and later while doing jobs around the house, they were great. Easy connection, good comfort, and no silly dropouts. Very happy, mate.

Mifo has been a ripper for daily use. I mainly wanted something for the gym and for quick calls while out and about, and these have handled both without any dramas. The case feels sturdy, and the battery has been very dependable.

My experience has been alright overall. The website was easy to use and delivery was smooth, but the sound is more decent than impressive. Works fine for podcasts and calls, less exciting for music.
Don't touch them
Sold me a product they didn't have in stock even though their website stated that they did and had a 3-5 day delivery time.
Three weeks later still hadn't received goods, contacted MIFO support, they assured me that product would be despatched that week.
2 weeks later still nothing.
Contacted MIFO support and was informed they didn't have stock( even though the website still stated the product was in stock.
I requested a refund which they agreed to due to their failure to supply.
Now a month on and I'm still chasing the refund, and of course MIFO have stopped returning emails.

Do not purchase their mifo 05 gen 3 wireless earbuds. They will break within a year, and when you try and get a replacement or a refund they will pretend to put you in contact with their returns team and then it will be radio silence and you will not receive a refund. They are scammers selling a broken product DO NOT TRUST MIFO OR ANY OF THEIR TERRIBLE PRODUCTS!

I would not even give this company one star due to their extremely poor customer service. My advice: stay away and invest your money with a more reliable retailer.
The only positive thing I can say about these earbuds is that they fit securely and stay in place, even while running. Other than that, everything else is average, including the sound quality. However, the product itself is not the main issue here - the real problem is their after-sales service and warranty support.
If you experience any issue with your earbuds, do not expect your warranty to be honoured, and do not expect meaningful customer support.
I first contacted Mifo in January regarding an issue with my earbuds. What followed was four months of frustrating back-and-forth emails. They do not publish a phone number or physical address, which now makes sense to me. During those four months, they repeatedly asked the same questions, requested photos multiple times, and kept dragging the process out.
Eventually, they instructed me to send the earbuds back for inspection, stating clearly in their email that the process would take 14 working days. Do not fall into this trap.
I sent the earbuds back two (2) months ago and still have not received them back, nor have I received any meaningful update. Every response to my follow-up emails has been the same generic message: “Thank you for your patience, we are investigating.”
At this point, I have completely lost confidence in this company. There is no accountability, no proper communication, and no resolution. It feels like they have simply taken my earbuds and left me with nothing, or in other words - they stole my earbuds.
Next step is to sue them.

I bought the Mifo 05 plus Gen 3 less than a month ago and have mostly used them at night to relax or watch videos. It was easy to set up, and they attached immediately, but it took me a little longer to get used to how they fit. The sound quality is good enough for casual listening, and the battery life has been good. But I did note that the connection would drop sometimes when I moved from one room to another, and the the controls can be unreliable at times. They work for ordinary thing, but they're not flawless, so I'd give them three stars.

Headphones couldn’t be any worse if they tried. Never replied to my email saying they were defective, tried to contact on every social media platform and never got a reply. Honestly I’d rather go without headphones that deal with these scammers

Same issues as outlined by other users. I have raised a claim with NSW Fair Trading. This had some effect in prompting what had previously become a non response cycle with the support team. The initial offers of a return were to be done through a postage label to be sent to me. Contact after the fair trading claim had changed the process somewhat, with a very convoluted and difficult to follow returns process that was nowhere near what had been offered by the 'returns team'. I have repeatedly asked for the process that was initially promised to be followed. Each time I ask for the process to be adhered to the company replies with " We're looking into your concern and will update you as soon as possible." They indeed do NOT update me as soon as possible. In fact, they don't do anything until I prompt them again requesting an update. The reply is to again ask me to follow the same convoluted process outlined after their promise to send a postage label to my address. I had to send them the address so that they could determine the nearest post office for this drop off. I also sent video footage and photos to ensure no alteration or obvious user damage. The cycle of email replies continues.
Update: two more cycles of convoluted returns process that looked nothing like the one originally proposed. In reply each time I’ve asked MIFO to adhere to the one outlined. Each time they email reply indicating that they are checking their processes with the returns team. This stalls the process until I prompt again and the cycle starts again. NSW fair trading have attempted to raise this case with the company. They haven’t replied or participated in any communication with this authority. The latest email indicated that they are postage parcel was in the process of being sent to my postage address.
Update:
Another two cycles of nonsense with repeated requests to follow convoluted returns process, with me asking to follow the one outlined a number of times earlier.
I have heard from NSW Fair Trading. MIFO failed to respond to their requests.
I must note that Consumer Affairs Victoria have issued an Australia wide warning on using MIFO. Please google "MIFO Australia - Public warning" for details.
It is, at the time of writing, 67 days since I was first promised a return.
Update: 29/6/26
Another fortnight since my last update. MIFO have failed to communicate at all in this time. For reference, I have pasted the returns process I have alluded to below. I was originally promised on a number of occasions a pre-paid postage label that I would have to return the product. This changed to the following:
"To facilitate the return process for your item, we kindly request that you adhere to the return guidelines provided on our returns website. Once you've packaged the item for return, please send it to the following address:

Please make sure to write your name and order number on the package label for identification purposes.
Upon completing your return, please contact us back and provide the return tracking number or a link to the tracking information. Additionally, attach photos of the return shipping receipt in your email response, the package box, and any necessary information for the documentation of your return.
You can easily provide this information by simply responding to this email. This will enable us to efficiently process your refund or replacement accordingly.
Please be advised that providing this information is crucial for us to monitor the shipment and address any potential delays or issues that may arise during transit.
For returns for refund: Please be aware that returns for opened products that are otherwise functional per original manufacturer standards are subject to a 20% restocking fee. This fee is to help offset the costs associated with bringing the product back into our inventory and preparing it for resale."
Buyer Beware .. Scammers
My experience with MIFO has been extremely poor.
I placed an order after relying on the stock information shown at the time. When it became clear the items were not available as expected, I requested cancellation and a full refund. Despite this, the order was still sent.
I returned the items unopened, in the original packaging, using the return label supplied by MIFO. I also provided photos confirming the items were unopened, along with the tracking information. The returned goods have been delivered back to MIFO.
Despite this, no refund has been paid.
Since the return was received, MIFO has failed to provide any meaningful update or resolution. I have sent multiple follow-up emails, but the communication has either stopped or failed to address the actual issue: they have the returned goods and I still do not have my money back.
This is unacceptable. A return of unopened items should be a straightforward process, particularly where the company supplied the return label and received the goods back. Instead, I have been left chasing a refund that should already have been processed.
Based on this experience, I would strongly caution others before ordering from MIFO. The problem is not just the original stock issue; it is the lack of accountability, poor communication, and failure to refund after the items were returned.
