Worst bank ever... They take for ever to solve problems.
They increased my limit on my credit card without asking me, I am not using my card and the limit is showing in other banks, I wanted to decrease the limit, they said card is blocked you can't because you are not using it now I can't do anything in other banks.
This bank has a lot of miss leading information, I called the call center they told me, you have to do the minimum payment so we can activate your card,
I did, then called they said can't be in blocked you need to do full payment.
My outstanding is 7000 it's showing 26000 in other banks, they increased without asking.

The worst banking experience.
This has been the worst banking experience I’ve ever had. A friend of mine made a transfer from his Mashreq account through the Aani service, which is affiliated with Mashreq Bank, to my Mashreq account.
Although the transaction was completed on his end, I never received the funds. I contacted Mashreq customer service multiple times over several days, each time being reassured that the issue would be resolved soon.
However, after a frustrating 4-day ordeal, during which I had to constantly follow up, I was finally told that they couldn’t recover the missing funds. To make matters worse, they informed me that my only option was to contact their partner Aani, as they had incorrectly linked my name and personal number to a different IBAN.
They also said that the sender needed to raise a callback request for the transferred amount.
And it didn’t end there—despite multiple attempts by the sender to resolve the issue, Mashreq advised raising a callback request and waiting for a solution.
I desperately needed the funds to pay my bills, and this whole experience was unnecessarily stressful and deeply disappointing.

The worst bank I ever had in the UAE deducted an amount of 544 AED from my account. When I called customer care, all of them said I had transactions in April and May 2024, and their system had a glitch or error. I did not receive any notification or mail during those months. The deduction of the mentioned amount was applied in September 2024, which is 5 months later. I have records in my email for all the transactions mentioned during that month, and each transaction was deducted from every purchase. I tried to send an email to dispute, but no one responded. This Mashreq bank can never be trusted, and people from customer care are not reliable. Frustrating bank. I'm considering donating my 544 AED.

I should not have to pay for their technical issues or internal failures. It feels like they are playing with their customers' money, and that is deeply troubling.

Bad service and worst online banking experience. My card has charged 2000 unnecessarily without any notification from the bank to my registered email or mobile number. If i was not aware about my bank balance they could deduct any big amount without notification to the customer. This is absolutely terrible bank and even charged me AED 26 for bank statement. Not recommended to do banking with this particular bank. They keep the customer wait for a long time,not sending 3d secure pass code for any online transaction.?very unsafe to keep money in this bank.?
