Stylish but uncomfortable at first
Updating because initially I put three stars because it rubs the back of your foot. After wearing for a week I can admit these are great boots. Stylish and comfy really happy. Didn’t feel good not updating so here I am!

Like with all new shoes, they do need to be ‘worn in’ before they become truly comfortable, so hopefully very soon they will not rub and become soft and easy to wear.

They couldn’t deliver my item to the…
They couldn’t deliver my item to the concierge because he didn’t have the code. I didn’t know the code is necessary!
They took the item back and didn’t refund the delivery fee.
Disappointing. No item I ordered from different similar stores require delivery codes and they didn’t give notice beforehand.

The pin code & tracking number are sent four times in total to the customer on both email and SMS: the day the order leaves the warehouse and again on the hour slot the following working day. The code has to be given to the driver to complete the delivery.
If the delivery fails, you must reschedule within 24 hours via the DPD website, otherwise it will be returned to us for a refund minus the postal costs, as we have shipped correctly and given you all the information needed for you to be available to accept the delivery.

DPD delivery was poor
DPD ! Rather than redeliver they returned my parcel. I’ve not been refunded my carriage costs and this has happened on two separate occasions. To make matters worse I can’t use the discount code to re order…. Poor

The delivery was a nightmare
The delivery was a nightmare. DpD keep saying they can't deliver as no ones at the address yet my mum has waited on on all 3 occasions. Still havent had my parcel so its not a bad review for mallett just think they should change courier

Be careful of their refund process!
I ordered a pair of Size 8 trainers and when they arrived I tried them on but they were a small size 8 and did not fit me.
I returned them to Mallet who refused to process the refund as they said there were clear signs of wear on the soles. I strongly disagreed with this as they were only worn to try them on in my house! There was most definitely no “wear”on the soles.
I found the tone of the customer service representative to be patronising and I will never use this company again!
Mallet replied to this review strongly implying that I have lied and that the shoes have been worn outside when I 100% know they were not! I am disgusted by this company and their extremely poor customer service.

When our warehouse receives a return, they always carry out a full inspection to ensure they are still in the same unworn/unused condition that they were sold in. If we find any signs of wear or damage, images will be sent to the team to discuss with the customer.
We can see the return was rejected as there were clear signs of wear (not just tried on indoors on clean flooring to see if the product fits). Therefore as per our terms and conditions, we are within our rights to reject any returns that do not meet our criteria.
We apologise that you felt the department was patronising when they followed this up on email. This was certainly not their intention. We have reviewed the email thread and are satisfied with the communication.
The goods have now been returned to you at our expense.

Edit: We have again reviewed the email thread, and the team did not state that the shoes have been 'worn outside'? They simply advised that the shoes are not in the same unworn/brand-new condition they were dispatched in.
