This was my first "big ticket" watch (as in, over $200 or so). I love it, and get tons of compliments on it. I got the MAEN 37 Manhattan in salmon M2.1.3 reference with the SW200-1 Sellita movement, and I couldn't be happier with it. The salmon dial means it matches my skin, so it goes with anything. I can dress it up in a suit, or wear it with casual jeans and a button-down. The dial really comes alive in the sunlight, and is where people notice it the most. I have a small collection of six watches now, but this is still the one I come back to the most.

I'm very happy with my MAEN watch. The quality is excellent, and you can really tell that a lot of attention has gone into the craftsmanship. The customer service was also outstanding – friendly, responsive, and very helpful throughout the entire process. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely buy more watches from MAEN in the future. Highly recommended! 💪👍🙏

I own two MAEN watches, a testament to their beautiful designs and quality finishing. They are beautiful to look at and I enjoy wearing them. I am a bit less enthusiastic about the movements. Twice, my Manhattan 37 Automatic stopped when there was a slight bump of my arm while wearing the watch. The process of returning the watch to manufacturer took more than a month each time. On top of this, the power reserve appears shorter than advertised. It often seems I am getting fewer than 12 hours (and certainly fewer than 18) on a wind. So there you have it: beautiful watches that would benefit from more durable movements.

The Manhattan 37 is a beautiful watch and a great value. This was my first Maen watch purchase, but based on looks, quality and price it will definitely not be my last. Very happy!

Montres à mon goût extrêmement réussies, équipe vivante proposant régulièrement (mais pas trop) de nouvelles formes et s'essayant à divers techniques.
La montre que je possède est de très bonne qualité et après plusieurs années (et un petit nettoyage du mécanisme de remontage auto du sw-200 qui l'anime) elle reste d'une régularité sans faille.
Un grand merci au personnel avec qui les échanges se passent au mieux!

I purchased the HUDSON GMT - M1.3.1 over a year. Took a week to get the watch after order it. This has to be one of my favorite watches. I haven’t had any issues with watch, it still works and looks great.

I have owned the MAEN Brooklyn 36 for about 2–3 years now, and I am still very happy with it. It wears incredibly well on the wrist, has a beautiful design, and matches virtually every style. For me, it is the perfect everyday watch, and I genuinely think MAEN makes some fantastic-looking timepieces.

Unfortunately, my experience with their customer service has been the complete opposite.

Within the first few months of owning the watch, I noticed condensation forming inside the crystal after rinsing it under the tap with some lukewarm water while cleaning it. Considering the watch’s advertised water resistance, I didn’t expect this to happen. I contacted MAEN’s customer service several times, asking whether this could be covered under warranty since the watch was only a few months old.

To my surprise and disappointment, I received no real support or willingness to help. The response essentially came down to it being my problem, and if I wanted the watch inspected for water damage, all costs would be my responsibility. I completely understand that this is not a dive watch, but for a watch that costs nearly €1,000, I think it’s reasonable to expect it to withstand being rinsed under a tap without moisture getting inside.

What disappointed me even more than the issue itself was the way it was handled. I expected at least some effort to investigate the problem or offer a reasonable solution, especially considering how new the watch was.

In the end, I left the watch with the crown pulled out for about a month, which allowed most of the condensation to disappear. However, the hands have since become slightly dull. Despite that, I still wear the watch regularly and genuinely enjoy it every time I put it on.

That’s exactly why this experience is so unfortunate. I really like MAEN’s designs, and I would love to own models like the Hudson or the Manhattan. However, because of my experience with their customer service, I simply don’t feel confident buying another watch from them. Instead, I’ll stick with larger, more established brands where I know I can rely on good after-sales support if something goes wrong.

Overall, I think MAEN makes beautiful watches with excellent design, comfort, and value for money. Sadly, their customer service has left me deeply disappointed, and that has prevented me from becoming a repeat customer.

I cannot agree with all the negative feedback. I love my Maen Manhattan and it coexists great next to my other watches. I love the reflection on the glass and how good the bracelet feels on wrist.

As a microbrand enthusiast, I am in love with these timepieces and their innovative collaborations. They do add value to my amateurish-level collection. Thank you.

I pre-ordered the Hudson 38 MK5, which is the first Maen watch I’ve ever purchased. The overall experienced from ordering to delivery was fine, as I was familiar with pre-ordered product wait times. When I did receive the watch, I confirmed the high build quality along with the fidelity between the watch and what was advertised. Here are the pros and cons after having the watch in hand;

Pros - quick flow up from Maen team on one inquiry I had during the fulfillment process; vintage size and proportion was exactly as described; bracelet is beautiful and of high quality; quick release provided out of the box for strap + bracelet makes swapping fa breeze; tooless micro adjust works well (and better than some of the others on the market); overall wearing experience is great!

Cons - the only issue Ive encountered so far is a very stiff bezel action..it will take use over time to loosen the action for sure;

Great Watch. Friendly sales person let me try in in the Worn & Wound store. My Only wish is to improve the quality of the bracelet. It looks nice and fancy but feels a little to light.
