My buying experience with Maen was great. I placed the order and in no time at all I received my watch here in Southern California. I ordered the Skymaster 38 mm with the Tachymeter bezel and the reverse panda dial. I also purchased their jubilee style butterfly bracelet, which on this specific piece is amazing and the best way to spec it out. Of course nothing is 100% perfect and my only complaint is that when using the chronograph feature on the 3 o’clock sub dial of the 30 minute intervals the hand does not lineup perfectly with the marks on that sub dial. I know I’m still within my warranty because I just purchased it however it is kind of a pain to ship it back not have the watch considering it’s brand new and waiting for it to come back. Other than that, this watch is amazing at its price point.

Amazing quality and design.
I have the Manhattan ultra thin and I wear it everywhere. Slimmer than all of my other watches, it's highly versatile and I get more complements than watches I have that cost significantly more.

For the price, my Manhattan 37 Ultra-thin is fantastic. It’s well constructed, keeps time accurately, and has become one of my watches that sees the most wrist time in the last year or so since I purchased it. I’d recommend Maen to anyone looking for a great watch between $800-1500 or so.

I have a Hudson 38 MK5, the one before GMT. Excelent watch with magnific design. It arrived with problem in the reverse wheel. Solved by a local matchmaker. It's the most beotiful watch among the others of my colection

Wanted to order the jubilee bracelet with my order and the cart did not let me added. Ok no problem.

Placed my order and was told I would be one of the first ones after I had to reached out to find out there was no email stating what would be my place in line, when would my preorder watch would arrive or anything. This was a month prior to the times they said they would release the watch being June and September. Ok fine they responded and told me my order would be coming in June….great!

It is July and nothing! Once again I had to reach out only to be told that there was a delay of 2 extra weeks due to an issue with the “sizing of the bracelet.” Watch comes with a leather strap and my order does not even have the add on bracelet because i was not able to add it! At this point its been the lack of communication with the customer.

You want to charge high prices, be treated like a world class brand then earn it! Customer service would be a good place to start.

I was looking for a GMT, and I was finding that all of the ones I was looking at all looked the same. I saw your combination of chronograph/ GMT and really liked what I saw. It's a very classic yet standout dial, and I really like the different textures on the dial and sub dials.

My Maen Manhattan 47 auto jumped to the top of my rotation and has stayed there ever since. Beautiful design. Integrated bracelet and build quality make it feel very high end and durable

I ordered my Maen Model Manhattan 37 about 18 momths ago. The watch is superbly accurate, the dial and case are exquisite, and the movement is elegant. I ordered the watch and it appeared promptly as asvertised by the manufacturer. Recently, Maen had a promotion on its integrated rubberized sports band for the Manhattan 37......WOW! I had moved from the States to Bangkok, and even there, where deliveries can be delayed or lost, Maen came through again. I must say that I actually prefer the black Sports Band to the integrated stainless steel bracelet, and that is very unusual for me. It's fair to say that I love both, but suprisingly(to me), the rubberized Sports Band wins out. Overall? Maen makes and delivers a high quality watch.

I have several Maen watches and am very satisfied with the brand. I often receive compliments on the watches I wear.

The movements are also of very high quality. I am very happy with them.

This is my second Maen watch. The quality is excellent. I’m fortunate enough to own two Rolexs and a couple of Omegas (thanks Dad, inheritance gifts carry more emotional value than financial value). And I have been impressed with the packaging as well as the manufacturer and functioning of my Marn

Took 6 months for my Brooklyn 36 to get the pre-sell but I love it! Very comfortable and durable. No scratches after almost a year of daily wear.

The luminous dials could be improved, very hard to see in the middle of the night.

Maen Watches zijn kwalitatief hoogwaardige premium horloges voor een relatief betaalbare prijs. Horloges worden echter alleen online verkocht waarbij de aftersales teleurstellend is. Met een kickstarter kochten wij onze 1e Maen Hudson Limted Edition. Voor mij 60e verjaardag van de kinderen de 2e Maen Manhattan gekregen. Deze ontvingen wij echter met een hele lichte beschadiging op de behuizing net naast het glas. Uiteraard dit gelijk na ontvangst gemeld bij Maen. Reactie van Maen was dat dit onmogelijk door de kwaliteits controle gekomen kon zijn. Tevens waren de stickers eraf en hadden dit volgens opgave van Maen zelf veroorzaakt. De beschadiging was echter pas zichtbaar nadat de stickers waren verwijderd. Conclusie : horloges van Maen zijn van zeer goede kwaliteit maar bij problemen Maen niet bellen en/of mailen. Risico van online aankopen en voor ons de enige reden om geen Maen Horloges online meer te bestellen.

Having read some of the negative reviews. Whilst I've not had experience with their customer care, I find most of the criticisms unjustified or unreasonable, at least compared to the rest of watch industry.

Getting a watch from a micro-brand is a risk but one that is unusual compensated either/or by value for money ,original design and individuality etc. Do your research on the brand.

Getting a watch from a major brand won't get your fixed or serviced any quicker, quite the reverse infact, six months is the usual wait and it will be costly.

The chinese are if you know where to go very advanced in watch making (with the exception of movements) and even the big swiss brands to source components as a cost cutting exercise) Swiss made only means up to 65% actual swiss components, whilst actual chinese watches, the good ones will use swiss or Japanese movement and the designs are usually homages or an acquired taste.Maen's movement are swiss and there is no way a chinese watch uses better ones. All microbrands will use chinese components and are often fully assembled (unless it says otherwise i.e swiss made like Maen), not doing so is just not a economic reality.
