Read a lot of negative reviews about returns and wanted to cancel my order. Website states I can cancel within 12 hours which I did. I was offered a 50% per cent reduction on items that had not even been shipped! I asked for a full refund and stated that if emails were checked it could be seen I had cancelled well within the 12 hour time limit. No reply to this email but an email saying the items were on their way. Total scam. Terms and conditions stated on website are ignored. Do not trust this company. Take note of negative reviews. Rules that apply to UK Companies obviously do not apply to Companies based elsewhere.

Terrible experience from start to finish. Do not use this company, I wish I'd checked on here before making my purchase. The whole thing is a scam from start to finish, the very premise that this is a London boutique closing down owing to Jessica having a baby soon is utter nonsense.

First off, they added postage insurance to my order which I hadn't asked for, I contacted them as soon as I realized what they'd done to ask for it to be removed and was refused.

By UK law, stand-alone postage and parcel insurance is considered a financial service. This means it is legally required to include a 14-day cooling-off period. You can cancel the policy for any reason within this time and receive a full refund, provided your parcel has not already been lost, damaged, or a claim made.

I emailed and pointed this out and asked for a refund, but was refused.

Second, it took almost a fortnight to arrive, a lot longer than I would've expected, especially if it only has to makes its way from the soon to be closed boutique in London...🤔

The quality is awful, it's cheap, synthetic material and massively over priced for what it is, definitely not from a boutique and I'm guessing, not made by anyone named Jessica, pregnant or otherwise.

I don't want or like the dress, but it's impossible to get a refund, as the small print indicates, non returnable items include:

"Final sale or clearance items (will be marked as such on product pages)"

which as anyone whose been on their website knows, is everything on the website, because the boutique is closing because Jessica is having a baby! What a scam!

Further, if the reason for refund is a change of mind, the customer has to pay the postage and packing, so all in all, with the postage insurance and return postage fees you're paying them for no dress, and no service at all.

Absolutely awful. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

This is a CHEAT company. They bombard you with messages while the product comes extremely slowly and when it arrives is of VERY POOR QUALITY.
The lie about clearance due to pregnancy is shameful.

Utter scam! Poor quality dress and top ...waited ages for delivery only realising too late it was from Hong Kong.
Neither fit me- Refund process ridiculous- citing you may be charged customs duty on returning!

I bought a linen shirt and wasn't expecting to reach for it this often. It feels light without being see through and works just as well tucked into jeans as it does with shorts. It's become one of those easy pieces I wear without thinking.

Whoever this is, it is not a pregnant woman called Jessica. I am an idiot for falling for this. But their terms and conditions say you can cancel within 12 hours with no charge. But they don’t seem to have any intention of complying with this - I cancelled in 10 minutes but they have sent emails showing processing and dispatch. At the same time, an email offering a discount, and a refund. Then saying as it’s already processed, I can send whatever arrives back for a refund (except the £15 or so it will cost to send it back to CHINA) - not London.
So even if you cancel within the time, screenshot their terms and conditions and get an email saying they’ll refund, they are liars. As are, I bet, their very recent reviews to cancel out the real life voices saying how they are a scam. Which they are.

I don't know how to reply to Madebyjessica's response so that you can see it, other than editing my original review. I have sent you my order number and name, etc. But I have sent you 16 emails and have had 20 emails back from you - many of them auto-responses. You have had plenty of opportunity to do the right thing - which you promised to do on email number 12 (below) before backtracking. The order says it is processed but it should never have been as your auto-response was made immediately after my initial cancellation at 10 minutes after the order.

Easy ordering, full description of product and free delivery and returns

A very easy website to use with lots of lovely clothes to choose from. The sort you don’t see on the high street anymore

This site is a total con. The 2 dresses I ordered were supposed to be linen. They took over 1 month to arrive and when they did one was cotton polyester and the other was polyester. Neither looked like their photos. Do not go anyway near this seller

Awful , the dress I ordered was 0 like what arrived , please do t use these , awful material , not linen Cotten , awful shapeless garment , not offered refund costly to return , offered a discount or a percentage back , steer clear of, I’m £40 quid down now pls don’t waste your money !!

Beautiful choice of dresses for all shapes and sizes, quality is superb, it’s a shame the shop is closing due to motherhood taking over, although a very rewarding career. Grab a bargain while you can

Do not be fooled by the picture of a pregnant lady and a london shop this is a load of rubbish. the item comes from Hong Kong and is cheap polyester. I had a very heated back and forth for weeks about returning the item as it was substandard and the zip was too stiff to do up. in the end i had to accept a partial refund as they wanted me to pay over £15 to return it. now stuck with it

Items were terrible quality, returns policy and absolute joke. I feel ripped off, do not buy from this company

This is NOT a UK company as is suggested in their website photo of a boutique store in UK. Only once I had paid did I realise the items were coming from China. I cancelled the order within 16 minutes of ordering. I received various emails saying order would be cancelled/ there was a delay in the warehouse due to reorganisation/ the items were on their way. I pointed out my cancellation. Their policy states you can cancel within 12 hours - to no avail.
The items still arrived. They tried to offer 25 or 30% discounts to keep them but as they were poor quality and wrong sizing I wanted to return them. This is their clever trick - it would cost £30+ to return to a USA address!
I asked for prepaid post as I had cancelled easily within their time frame but this was ignored.
It is a complete SCAM.

Bought a dress which doesnt fit but they will not accept a return,all they want to offer is a discount which is no good if it doesnt fit .

My parcel arrived safely and everything inside was exactly as ordered. Delivery wasn't particularly fast, but it stayed within the estimated timeframe and the tracking kept me updated throughout.
