Unethical Conduct: Leaked Customer Data & Retroactive Policy Changes

I regret to report serious misconduct by Luxury Distribution. As a former client, I witnessed:

1. Data Privacy Violations

After a business dispute, they threatened to release our customers’ private information (emails, phone numbers) and followed through by sharing this data with third parties without consent. This is a clear breach of GDPR and basic ethical standards.

2. Retroactive Policy Changes

They altered terms months after fulfilling orders, attempting to justify withholding refunds for returned goods. When challenged, they lost a formal dispute due to lack of evidence but retaliated instead of resolving the issue professionally.

3. Unprofessional Retaliation

Rather than address concerns, they escalated to harassment tactics, including threats to damage our reputation by contacting our customers directly.

Avoid this company. Their willingness to violate data protection laws and manipulate terms post-sale poses risks to both businesses and consumers. I’ve reported their actions to relevant authorities (including Shopify and data protection agencies).

We take all public allegations seriously and are compelled to respond given the serious and defamatory nature of the claims made by Mr. Akin Sahin, the operator of Sendegaro.com.

We categorically deny the accusations of misconduct, including the alleged data privacy violations and retroactive policy manipulation. The statements made are not only factually incorrect but also legally unfounded and appear to be intended to cause reputational harm to our business while an ongoing commercial dispute is in legal mediation for unpaid orders are ongoing with this business operator.

1. Data Privacy Allegations

We maintain strict adherence to data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). At no point has Luxury Distribution unlawfully disclosed or shared personal data of any customer. These claims are wholly unsubstantiated. We are currently reviewing this statement for potential violations of defamation and false accusation under applicable civil and data protection laws.

2. Dispute Context

The reviewer failed to mention that the transaction in question was fulfilled and goods were successfully delivered to an end-customer in the United States. Despite this, a chargeback was initiated by Mr. Sahin, and the matter is now the subject of a pending legal dispute and mediation proceedings. It is inappropriate and potentially prejudicial to publish accusatory commentary while this matter is before a legal authority.

3. Harassment and Retaliation Claims

We firmly reject all claims of unprofessional behavior or harassment. Our communication has remained within professional and legal boundaries. Any suggestion otherwise is demonstrably false.
