Turned out to be a scam operation as three parties involved. Marketing Co called investment Rooms claimed to own Deeds to property but property was not at the time sold by vendor and solicitors audit lead us to a Dubai based shelf company. Another co in the chain Yale housing Ltd had been bankrupt several times before and claimed to have a 25 year contract with DWP but when my solicitor requested details of sighting contract not forthcoming just silence, Lastly property they were marketing was £80k overvalued , as checked with local estate agent . Don’t get scammed by these rogue traders and definitely don’t use their free solicitor service at no extra cost as will not detail full information upon purchase .The more you dig the more apparent it becomes that what they are selling has no substance or Guarantees that they marketed at the time on their literature .

I am still awaiting refund of my 5000 reservation fee for the Anchorage development which has folded. It has been over a year and any e mails chasing this up are ignored as was the hard copy I sent by recorded delivery to Lee Chettoe the managing director who signed for it. Because I had concerns about the company I checked them out with companies house and have just received notification that there is a winding up order in place dated April 2024 and the last accounts filed were for 2022. If you haven’t already paid them money then DONT

Purchased my first investment property through LPC. Big thank you to Tricia who was instrumental in getting the purchase over the line and assisting with any hurdles that came up, and there were a few. She really cared and took the time to assist with any questions or advice needed. Pressed for answers from third parties and in general made it feel like she was fighting out of my corner and not sure we would have got over the line without her help. Also a quick mention of how helpful and responsive Jen was with assisting with a furniture pack once the deal completed. Would recommend the service if the level i received, is the same across the board, and they are both a credit to the company!

I invested in an assisted living option with LPC as I wanted a truly hands off investment. As this is my second investment I was keen to do as much research as I could and the representatives at LPC were fantastic and provided everything I would need, even answering questions late at night.
The process was fast and completed in around 4 weeks, with my first return being on time with no issues.

I signed a reservation fee agreement with the this company to purchase a property and paid £2500 in January 2022. Wisely, I ensured the reservation form had a clause therein which allowed me to request a refund if I found some negative information while completing due diligence.In November 2022, I received concerning information from my solicitor about the new build status, lack of asbestos report, contamination issues and chancel liability. I decided not to proceed forward, but LPC rejected my request for my reservation fee to be refunded, claiming they had sent that money to a third party (the developer). After a large amount of time invested on following this up, I had no choice but getting Property Redress Scheme (they were excellent!) involved to mediate on my behalf. Only then, thanks to PRS, I was refunded, more than 6 months after my original request, and after wasting valuable time I’ll never recover. These are the facts, you draw your own conclusions.

The literature I received did not fairly explain the investment. The literature gave the impression that the apartment to be purchased was brand new, which it is not.
That in turn caused confusion when I saw the legal documents.
The full nature of the investment was also not fully explained. The property is being sold at approximately two and a half times its market value.
Whilst I got comfortable with the investment it was not properly explained either verbally or in any literature.

We have had such a great experience buying our property. Having had difficulties and bad experiences in the past, all the staff at LPC invest - Kerry, Tricia, Paula, Averil, Jonathon (hope I haven't missed anyone!) - were so helpful and responsive. In particular, Tricia seemed to really care about our purchase and our experience. We have struggled finding an apartment over the past year but Tricia is the only person we have come across who cared as much as we did - well, almost! :)

Tiny constructive feedback is whether the building insurance costs might be best laid out clearly in paperwork alongside the service charge on reservation form etc so no misunderstandings can happen - but that's a small suggestion.

This is the third transaction we have completed with LPC Invest and throughout Kerry has been absolutely amazing. She is always professional, answers our queries quickly and makes sure the transaction is going through smoothly. It’s a pleasure working with everyone in the office.
