Scam artists
This company took advantage of my teenage son who is suffering a rare autoimmune disorder that causes dementia.
He had seen this company online offering this cool grab bag of surprises. So he emails them and asks questions about their products. He got one email back explaining that they send out their really cool loot crates 4 times a year. Full of surprises. But you pay the whole thing upfront.
He pays and completely forgets about it. At this time he had not been diagnosed yet. It took 27 different doctors to figure out what was going on.
So after four months he briefly has a flashback because that’s what happens and he says did I get my surprise box yet? Not sure what he’s talking about it takes me a month to figure out what’s going on I contact the company asking where his crates are. I get several emails back stating odd excuses; Covid, packages were lost in the mail, short handed….etc. I demand money back. Get the same email back stating the same message. I contact the bank to do a charge back not realizing that you only have 120 days and we were over that.
Of course you won’t be able to do a charge back on this company because of the way they have it set up with delivering packages all throughout the year.
Again I contact the company asking them to please return my sons money to him only to never hear from them again.
Please do not fall victim to these people.
UPDATE***
on Sept 4 2022 My son received an email from Loot Crate alerting him that they would be sending him a package.
Now keep in mind its been a year since he signed up and paid them to deliver 1 package every 3 months. Which has not happened.
Then on Sept 7 he received a tracking number. Okay so lets look at this. It was addressed to our old address. Thats one of the reasons i kept trying ot contact them in Feb. Only getting the generic response back.
I called the UPS company in Illinois and finally got through to an office where they tried to help. However, UPS said that Loot crate put a lock on it so that no one could alter the adress. So it would have to be delivered there. I was able to get a neighbor to help in retriving it.
Truly the trouble they have caused is unbelievable.
No box and no refund
I payed for the 3 month subscription for the Harry Potter crate in March, and here we are in mid July and I still do not have it. I have contacted them several times through email and patiently waited. The most they did was send me a link to their site with a vague estimate (about a two month window) of when they were supposed to have the crate. when I would check back the next month, the estimate would just get pushed back. I finally requested a refund about a month ago, and they have done little to nothing to make that happen or even inform me of what is going on. Their customer service is terrible, and I am starting to believe this company is out to just scam and rob people. I wish I would have been able to use PayPal to pay so I could dispute this and have my money forcibly taken back. As cool as they crates look, don't give this company your money.

They keep claiming they can't delete my account, completely ignoring all rules and laws about personal data deletion.
All because "there still products in my account"
Well they have been there for 2 years, without being shipped for god knows what reason.

I had signed up for the Fallout Loot Crate which was $280. I have never received a single Loot Crate. Every month they respond to my emails with “sorry it’s been delayed and will be arriving next month”. Now it’s been exactly one year and they’re trying to take out an additional $287. Avoid The Loot Company like the plague!!!

Shame you can't leave no stars, this company is a scam, they collect payments and do not ship, I did not realise this was happening to everyone until I checked Facebook and these reviews, I have been subscribed for eight months and four payments have been collected, they have mot shipped one box yet, they do not reply, Customer service shocking and they are just stealing money

I ordered the Junji Ito Crate back in November 2021, still haven't received anything. Now July 3rd, they've cancelled my order for reason 'other'. Ive emailed them a so many times, no response.
Edit: I contacted Paypal, and they gave my money back. I'm so angry that their website is still up!

Hatte vor einiger Zeit mehrere Boxen bestellt, die zwar extrem verspätet angekommen sind, aber in Ordnung waren. Eine im November 21 aufgegebene Bestellung wurde immer wieder verzögert, bis diese Anfang Juni ohne mir Bescheid zu geben gecancelt wurde. Ich habe weder eine Rückerstattung oder eine Option auf eine andere Lootbox bekommen. Jetzt warte ich auf eine Antwort vom "Kundenservice". Absolut keine Empfehlung von meiner Seite, eher eine Warnung.
Use to be good but not anymore.
I used loot crate in 2017 and it was great but for some reason the company has gone down hill I ordered a bi monthly box the first box due Feb 2022. When emailing all they do is email back a standard message about shipping delays. After continuing to ask for a refund my email went ignored. As soon as I got my credit card provider involved they are now willing to give me a refund.

Has to be either a scam or the worst customer service in history. Ordered the Junji Ito art series, first box ran late fine I get it covid. Second box too, fine chasing up they promised and promised that it would ship end of #insert month of query# then they asked if I wanted a refund yes yes I do. We will escalate your refund is all I've heard since. No crates finally found out I could escelate with my bank they've got me one back but the other two are too long ago very painful lesson learned.
Worst customer experience
Just awful, was charged for months for items that I never received. Requested a refund months ago, still no update. Customer service is just sending template emails. Stay away from them!

Company used to be so good, but has seriously gone down hill, my crate is 5 months late, the last crate in a set of 4 limited edition ones, they keep saying it's COVID, but that's not even an excuse anymore. they were replying to my queries on ETA and order updates really quickly, then when I said I want to cancel and refund they stopped replying, I even started a new ticket and they just completely ignored it, sad to say but Lootcrate has become so bad I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy using them. Avoid at all costs.

lootcrate.com is a scam company, avoid at all costs, they charge a lot of money for crap, does not send crates, and has made it extremely difficult to cancel.

I was a big fan of loot crate although i always found their prices a bit high , understandable... but I've requested a create last year near October 2021 its now June 2022 and I still didn't received it... I understand that business had a big impact with covid... What i don't understand, and i might be wrong is that the priority on delivering crates seems to be focused on the new crates rather than the ones that were already order long time ago.
they added a document with estimated delivery dates, but they keep changing all the time...
I did contact support 2 or 3 times, got nothing useful from it... last time i requested my money back, they answered it was ok, i eventually would receive the crate...
So from now on I'm looking for a similar service
Ps. An advice, instead making people having work for your mistakes and checking a Estimated delivery date all the time, maybe you should update them on the situation via email and not create false expectations on delivery dates

Firstly I got a subscription for a year worth of loot teas, sofar this year I've gotten 2 out of 5.
Secondly even worse is that they've added a fuction for paying VAT when you pay, but when they send the packages you still need to pay VAT as they are not sending the packages the correct way. So it ends up as you will have to pay VAT twice, when I contacted them their reply was only "Sorry for the inconvenience. Orders shipping to destinations outside the United States might incur duties and taxes. If duties and taxes are imposed on your order, they are due at time of delivery. Please consult your local customs office for more details about your country's duties and taxes. We are not responsible for any import taxes, duties, or brokerages fees which may be incurred on your international order shipment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
And thirdly, the price they tag on the packages is so much more than the actual products so you will end up having to pay even more VAT then you should have.
Don't shop with them, you won't get most of your orders and have to pay much more than you think you will.
DON'T DO IT NO MATTER WHAT
I've been dealing with these gold diggers for a good year and a half waiting on my hello Kitty crate that never came. I wrote over 10 different emails each with the same thing. "We will get that out asap we have a shipment going soon!"or"the Corona Virus has affected shipping" which I understand but no year and a half shipping! Something needs to be done for this con artist company!
Don't waste your $
In January, I sent a ticket after waiting 6 months for a loot fury "Berserk" crate.
Their support team informed me that after it's processed, they can no longer refund and I'll see my crate soon!
It's been a year since the purchase, and I received nothing.
I sent one ticket a second time, and they ignored it.
Horrid Customer Service. Avoid at all costs
I've been very understanding about the delays due to supply chain issues(waiting almost a year, and counting, before a single crate was fulfilled) and finally decided to contact customer support since they continued incrementing the number of crates fulfilled without actually fulfilling them. After about a month of back and forth, with at least a week between responses from Loot Crate, I've given up on actually getting any sort of issue resolved. They ignore my question about whether I'd be charged again for another subscription before I've received a single crate, and keep pushing me to check their page about COVID delays. Subscription cancelled, and I'm never coming back.
