Marcus has made my experience as a first year uni student much easier than it was seeming to be. Any issue that I needed addressing Marcus is ready to chase up and solve the issue at hand on the day if he can. For example, with the cash back that was owed to me And my tenant ONLY MARCUS decided to take initiative and make sure we received our money unlike Stuart which is the only reason why this review is 4 stars !

Had great viewing experience with Christian, who showed me round multiple flats! He managed to make a normally boring experience really fun, had a great time whilst also looking at some good prospective flats. Even with the rain and carnival traffic slowing us down, Christian made sure he was informative and friendly at the same time.

Izzy made my stay easy.

Josh was great the tour was good and he was very funny 10/10 would recommend him specifically as your viewing agent

Very bad service so far and terrible experience , if you dont tell them what to do they won’t do it, you literally have to point out the obvious to them, so annoying, make sure to explore otger options while searching with them , do not rely on them

Very helpful and friendly, gave us yours and answered our questions about deposits/parking clearly

I’ve had rented a house from Loc8me last year and due to some unexpected issues I couldn’t pay the rent on time . #Marcus the account manager is such a humble best professional person I’ve ever known. He helped me by making my payments arrangements easier which has helped a lot in dealing with the arrears . He never been rude unlike previous account manager Manjit Sahota . I always felt like I’ve known Marcus for ages while dealing with him although I don’t and have never seen him in person and but this is the name I’ll never forget . Thanks again #Marcus . Keep up the good job .

Clear and well-organised room viewing on relatively short notice, Jade was very helpful in providing us information on site and understanding with issues with the deposit and guarantor

They are really helpful in the Newcastle/Duhram branch! Kay in particular wa so helpful and happy to answer and help with any questions or problems I’ve had. Would totally recommend using them for student housing they are great and even with maintenance requests 9/10 they get done within the same week!!

Really good experience looking around houses with Kay.

Awful service do not choose these estate agents!!! We are tenants in one of their properties and they have repeatedly breached our contract, they do not respond to maintenance requests and the standard of property is not acceptable with fire hazards and mould.

I go loc8, and Markhim help me serve my problem about the property

Kay was a excellent guide for the viewing had fun and really the property too.

Just finished a reviewing yesterday with my flatmates,and was great!Aaron (our agent) couldn’t have been better. He provided us with all the information we need to know about the houses are areas around,along side having a laugh with us.

From using Loc8me for 2 properties I can say that their list of properties is fine but what really lets them down is their lack of communication and slow response time. They are very quick when you want to sign a property with them (of course). However once you move in they seem to disregard the tenants communication as we have had several problems to do with the houses which recieve no response for weeks and when they do reply it is very unhelpful which leaves me frustrated. Another issue we have seen with their lack of communication is to do with our deposit as after we switched properties we had no communication whatsoever about the status of our deposit until one of our parents had to send an email to them regarding the issue only to find out they have used up most of it without sending us an invoice. Now this would be more acceptable if they had communicated this to us. To make things worse they have not replied at all on regards of how to move forward with recieveing what we are owed. I feel as though they would not have even said anything and kept the deposit if a parent had not communicated with them as some of us tenants have inquired but recieved no useful information on the matter. If you want a housing company that doesn't view its tenants as a bank then try to not use loc8me. Another issue I had was on the moving day where everything was unprofessional with them telling us to arrive at 10am to collect keys and once we arrived they told us that the keys were not available until 3pm. They had changed the key collection time various times right before the move in day only for it to not even be the correct time. The staff didn't seem to care much and basically just told us to go away and come back when they were ready. To make things funnier when I eventually did collect the keys they asked us to follow their instagram but at that point I had enough of them so I did not. Overall they are very unprofessional and don't seem to care about tenants once they have moved in.

My experience with Loc8me has been very poor. Communication is slow, staff rarely follow through on what they promised, and issues take far too long to resolve, if resolved at all.
We currently have a breach of security as the front door remains broken. We had a break in because of this with weapons. Our door is still broken, even after the break in, despite a half attempt to piece the door together.
I do not feel safe. My food is stolen more than twice weekly. I do not recommend as I am chasing university support services to support me because of this.
