Halle was superb and extremely accommodating during our viewing. She went into thorough detail about the house and answered any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!

Avoid the Loughborough branch at all costs.
Truly the worst experience I have had with a letting agent. They were completely non responsive and failed to resolve even the most basic repairs. A replacement hoover took months, and a cupboard actually fell on a student’s head, resulting in hospital treatment. The branch offered only £50 in compensation… the list is endless.
We had to fight extensively for the deposit and eventually managed to recover 90 percent. The agents also provided what appeared to be fake cleaning invoices and attempted to charge for mattresses that were kept clean… again, the list is endless. They profit from students who are too exhausted or inexperienced to challenge unfair deductions.
Awful management and a dreadful standard of service. I would never recommend this branch to anyone.

We are sorry to hear about your experience and the issues you've raised, particularly around delays with maintenance and communication. While these were resolved, I appreciate the timescales weren't what you expected.
For clarity, we do ask that maintenance is reported through our website so it can be properly logged and tracked, as messages sent via other channels aren't always picked up in the same way.
I also understand your concerns regarding the Wi-Fi and deposit, as well as the level of communication needed throughout the tenancy.
A goodwill gesture was offered and later increased, which we believe was a fair outcome in the circumstances.
I'm sorry again for the frustration caused, and your feedback has been noted and will be reviewed internally.

2nd Year house viewings
Me and my friend were given a house tour by Harry, and he was very friendly and informative. We didn't have to wait long and we were driven to the house so we didn't need to walk which is quite nice.

Scam and neglect
Really wish I could give a negative star review, but this is as low as I can go. I have waited almost 2 months since leaving for my deposit to be sorted out, and I have not heard a response in 2 weeks regarding this despite continued attempts to get in contact. And they try to scam you out of part of your deposit under the guise of a mattress cleaning fee, because "oh students will never fight back on it", even though the mattress didn't need cleaning (their own words from their own reports). It is extremely predatory and abusive. While letting, our "emergency" problems (such as having a broken fire escape door) were left unattended for months. I do not recommend this experience to anybody, and I would always say to stay very very far away from Loc8Me.
