I wanted a tv, but seem to have bought a computer.
The latest operating system webos25, does not have the ability to control screen aspect of its internal apps such as Netflix/ prime etc.
This means 25% of the screen is lost to cropped areas. So you buy a big telly to get 75% of the area.
Best buy a cheaper telly and a firestick, roku etc.

I wish I could give them zero stars. The customer service was completely unprofessional — they clearly don’t care about their customers or the inconvenience they cause. I would never recommend them, and I certainly won’t be purchasing any products from them again.

I’ve wanted a bigger TV for absolutely ages and I know LG products are good but I didn’t realise just how good this TV would be. I was shocked just how big a 65inch TV was… especially next to a 55inch TV. Be prepared to be in for a shock. But putting this TV on it’s like having a cinema in your lounge. The picture is crystal clear, sound amazing even without a soundbar and I’ve loved watching all sorts on it. Highly recommended to anyone. I’ve been raving about it to all my friends since the moment it was delivered.

The worse most rubbish tv i have ever purchased. It is very very very slow to do anything and the sound quality is terrible.

Bought a tv but unhappy with the picture quality so I requested an upgrade.

I purchased a 70 inch LG TV model 70UR80006LJ which comes with a Magic remote control. This remote is extremely difficult to use because of this magic roller button. Its very sensitive and very frustrating to use, its a very very poor design and not fit for purpose, especially if you suffer with Repetitive Strain Injury. They have no other options for a remote expect making you buy another one. Their customer service were not willing to give me a remote as a good will gesture and said I need to purchase it even when I told them the design is poor and I'm unable to use it due to my condition. I will not purchase a LG TV again especially when I paid £700 for it and they can't even give me a suitable remote to use with it.

Don’t buy LG TV. I bought it without reading the reviews here first and now I regret so much. The TV starts lagging after 3 years of purchase. I have done everything to speed it up but to no avail. It’s total trash now.

Purchased 65 lg ua77 only to discover that the remote doesn't have voice command .I called lg Customer support . They confirmed no it doesn't. I asked lg why did they sell this product without a voice command remote. The response was i only work here . But inorder to have voice command you will need to order a voice command remote from someone. Oh another way to purchase up the Buyer. Buyer beware.

Alles gaat mis bij LG. Kan geen netflix downloaden, geen NPO Start, je maakt een inlognaam aan, je verifieert het na een klik in je email, en daarna kennen ze je email adres niet meer. Of je zit in een andere regio.
Wat een ellende. Waarom moeilijk doen.

DO NOT BUY A LG TV you are not in control it updates when it wants usually in the middle of something good. The program guide takes ages to upload and only so many at a time I wish I had never seen the dam thing go buy something else.

I have lg model OLED77C4AUA that keeps on locking up with Hulu. I’ve reinstalled the tv for app, unplugged the tv and continue to have the problem. I have 4 other tvs in the house that don’t have the problem. I’ve contacted tec support and that want $5 to troubleshoot. After what this tv cost me I’m furious. I will scrap this tv and buy another brand.

Avoid! My main gripes:

1. The remote control response time is unbelievably slow - up to 20 seconds just to call up the tv guide.

2. You have to scroll through about half a dozen menus to access the subtitles so, thanks to the response time, the programme’s almost over by the time they finally load. (In contrast, almost every other tv remote has them as a preset and has done for the last 30-odd years.)

3. There’s no universal ‘exit’ button on the remote, so leaving Netflix (for example) means scrolling back through a whole series of clunky menus….. which takes us straight back to my first point.

The picture quality (their big selling point) may be better than on some other models (although, seriously, who can tell except someone with Superman vision?) but you’ll have launched your LG through the sitting room window long before that becomes an issue.

Worst TV I have ever owned. Very expensive to run based on my Smart meter readings.
Also very slow to show programs on guide.
For some reason on catchup sound is very low except for adverts which are very loud.
Would not buy LG again.

WTF!!! can't hear the show your watching very well, turn up the volume only to have the commercials blow your speakers out, that is insanely ridiculous there needs to be better control on your advertising, I'm done watching LG until you get that under control it doesn't make we want to buy your shit because it's LOUD AS FU$K!!!!! It makes me mute it or turn the channel... your marketing strategies are mental if you think that works...

This TV is the worst I have ever owned! Constantly goes of and screen turns black with error message app is restarting due to full memory, I have cleared memory loads of times, but this happens at least twice a day. If I could, I would give it minus stars! Save your money, don’t buy an LG, you will regret it!!

The TV came with a software bug which significantly limits any enjoyment with this TV. It is impossible to enjoy and there doesn’t seem to be any obvious way to report this specific issue. It was an expensive mistake and I have constant issues where it loses internet connection when every other appliance in the house is working. It causes me more misery than joy
