Thinking of buying an LG TV??
THINK AGAIN!! And look elsewhere.
Ever since new (and now 14mths in to a 5yr warranty) it has been a nightmare. We paid for retailer to set up the tv. It keeps switching off - often at the worst possible times eg Wimbledon men's final, match point ..... screen went black! Frequent msg is "Updating apps"; we rarely use the apps!!. Another one: "switching off in 5 minutes" just 30 minutes after switched on. What's that all about?! This evening watching a tv drama in its closing minutes, baddie pointing gun at cop. Black screen "updating apps" - switched off and took >5 mins to switch back on. Utterly useless. We rarely stream, mostly we use Freeview. Also voice and picture are not aligned. Remote control response is frequently delayed, and the pointer wand is ridiculously difficult to control. Sound volume required varies between 10 and 20plus. In fact I can't think of anything that is good about this LG tv. I am a really dissatisfied customer. No wonder the TrustPilot rating is so low at 1.3. I wish I'd read the reviews before buying, instead of listening to the retailer.

What a laod of old w@nk. TV keeps shutting down stating it is clearing memory. Channel list is slow to load, quicker to check on your phone. Don't bother with LG.

It cost me more than 50 k .
And now it is not working
A guy from you agency told me it will cost me 10 k to repair it
I am utterly surprised that what a low quality product LG started making now .
I am going to raise this issue on all social media platform
Its just 2 yrs and i have to pay another 10 k great .
Will advice people not to use LG anymore rather than go for samung sony and or other brands ..
you guys are not making good tv anymore

Jeg købte en topmodel til 25000 kr

Jeg købte en topmodel til ca. 25.000 kr., men efter kun 4 år kan TV’et slet ikke tændes længere. Ifølge en tekniker skyldes det en kortslutning i panelet.

Jeg har fået at vide, at det ikke kan betale sig at reparere, da det er for dyrt i forhold til TV’ets værdi. Det betyder i praksis, at et dyrt TV nu er ubrugeligt.

Det er meget skuffende, at et premiumprodukt ikke holder længere. Jeg kan derfor ikke anbefale LG OLED TV og vil råde andre til at overveje andre mærker.

If I could give 0 stars, I would — Defective TV + Rigid Return Policies

I purchased a 43" QNED70 from LG’s online store a week and a half ago, and the experience has been a nightmare. Straight out of the box, the built‑in speakers made a faint squealing noise. I tried every possible setting and device combination, but the issue only got worse, and any connected speaker or headphones produced crackling. I contacted LG customer support, sent them a recording, and was told I’d have to wait until the following week for a technician. When they finally called back, they informed me that I would need to transport the TV to a repair shop 20 km away — at my own risk. Despite the TV being defective from day one, LG refused a replacement or refund because I was 12 hours past their 48‑hour return window. A brand‑new TV should not require repairs immediately, and customers shouldn’t be penalized for discovering a defect after two days. The customer‑service agents were polite, but the policies they’re forced to follow leave customers completely stranded. If you’re considering this model, think twice. And if you’re buying LG at all, avoid purchasing directly from their online store. Their return policy is rigid, and the support process is inconvenient and unhelpful. If you want real flexibility in case something goes wrong, buy from a retailer like Best Buy or Amazon, where returns are straightforward.

Pessima esperienza di un nuovo TV LG55 OLED, pagato un prezzo alto, ma giustificato dal fatto che ha effettivamente una buona immagine. La delusione è arrivata quando sono apparse immagini pubblicitarie durante le trasmissioni televisive. Inizialmente pensavo fosse la stessa trasmissione che riduceva il campo di visione per inserire pubblicità, poi cambiando canale la pubblicità rimaneva. Sono giorni che cerco di disattivare negando privacy o altre funzioni, ma purtroppo non riesco a toglierle. Se non l'avessi pagata più di 1000 euro ne farei 4 pezzi. Sono arrabbiatissimo e domani vado dal venditore e chiedo, anzi pretendo di sostituire la TV.

I bought a lg smart tv and regret it. The picture is really good but that is about the only good thing about it. For ever it reset apps and the tv guide loads extremely slow so I have to switch the power off and on. I am going to sell it on e bay and buy something else. Extremely disappointed

Absolutely appalling to navigate ANYTHING, but especially if you want to retune the wretched television. I will NEVER buy another LG product as long as I live! No, obviously they don't have anyone testing their products before they put them on the market, or they don't care what defects are found, because it CANNOT be acceptable to have something so profoundly disfunctional! What an utter waste of money. AVOID AVOID AVOID

LG OLED TV med frätta kanter. Tillverkaren vägrar ta ansvar för produktionsfel som uppträder efter reklamationsrättens utgång (3 år). Du kan inte räkna med att varan håller mer än 3 år utan särskild tilläggsgaranti. Köp ingen LG OLED om du vill ha en TV som håller.

Never again

Every LG TV I've had (3) has started to fail after 2-3 years. Power issues / display issues... I'll never purchase another LG TV.

LG OLED TV 👎🏻

Our OLED tv developed a white line across the top of the screen when it was only just 3yrs old. 18months later the tv continues to turn itself off.

LG support gave me the runaround. Can you give this info? Can you get me that info? I can’t possibly know what is wrong. However, within 2mins of talking to a tv tech I am told that it is because of the broken screen. The tv goes into protection mode and turns itself off.
I find it difficult to believe that LG support would not know this.
TV not worth it. LG support definitely not worth it.

Worst tvI have ever bought in my life previous ones were Panasonic and excellent ,bought this one from Curry’s with no reasonable assistance or back up cost me over £1000 and I consider it the worst tv I have ever bought might still contact Curry’s as only bought this last November

I will never ever buy an LG tv again

I will never ever buy an LG tv again. LG funnels you into their system to gather personal information. Just finished 45 minutes trying to "upgrade" the app in order to log into You tube tv. I'm forced into an app update even though it isn't required by You tube tv. It is an LG scam. Must go to the computer since can't use the tv. Password authentication is broken. constant system error etc etc. Bad engineering. No matter what the picture quality could be nothing is worth this.
