Disappointed by Lexus Tire Quality and Lack of Brand Engagement Support
I recently purchased a brand-new Lexus RX350h Premium Plus, expecting a premium experience in every aspect, especially given the higher price point compared to competitors. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed to find that the vehicle came equipped with lower-rated tires, ones that are commonly found on much more affordable, non-luxury vehicles.
Given Lexus’ reputation, I did not expect such a cost-cutting decision on a key component that directly affects ride quality and safety. I reached out to the Lexus Brand Engagement Team to express my concerns and request whether they would consider replacing the tires with a better-rated, well-known tire brand that aligns with the luxury standard Lexus promotes.
Despite opening a case, following up multiple times, and even visiting the dealership, I never received a formal resolution or direct communication from the Lexus brand team. The dealership eventually informed me that Lexus had denied the tire replacement, but I was never contacted by the brand team themselves. To make matters worse, they closed the case without any explanation or engagement, which is extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
I expected far more from Lexus in terms of customer care and brand accountability, especially for a vehicle in this premium segment. I hope Lexus reconsiders how it handles genuine customer concerns going forward.

Best experience ever from Lexus in Malmö, Sweden
Never ever I had such a great experience from a service center guys. My son and I came to Lexus office in Malmö recently and asked for the help to correct the lights on my son's IS300h.
They tuned it immediately and while we were waiting, offered both of us coffee with Lexus labeled chocolate!
In addition to that they did it for free. What can I say: Great job, guys! You made my son happy!
I got a brand new 2025 Lexus RX450 plug…
I got a brand new 2025 Lexus RX450 plug in hybrid. Great SUV, however it has a major deficiency which must be addressed by Lexus.
It is very convenient to start a vehicle remotely, cools it off during summer months and prior to you getting inde. In the winter months you can start it remotely and warm up and defrost the car.
For some crazy reason, Lexus designed it in a way that unless you have a minimum of a 30% electrical charge, you can’t start the vehicle remotely. I would understand if the vehicle would be all electric, but this is a hybrid where there is a regular gas engine. As I live in an apartment in NYC, I do not have an ability to change my SUV regularly. Therefore, most of the time the remote start option is not available for me. What’s incredible is that a simple Toyota RAV4 only requires to have a quarter tank of gas in order to be started remotely and my nearly $80,000 luxury SUV doesn’t allow for remote start unless it’s always changed. I hope that Lexus will be correcting this defect in the design.
When I called Lexus to complain, I was issued a case number and told that they have no idea of if and when it might get addressed.
This truly very sad and I certainly expected a a more serious response.
Enorme déception
J'ai acheté une Lexus neuve, mais malheureusement le service client n'est pas du tout à la hauteur de cette marque prémium. Retard de livraison, vendeur absent le jour du RDV de livraison, bref débrouillez-vous avec la voiture... J'ai écrit un courrier de réclamation à Lexus France, la réponse est du même niveau, rien à faire du client, quelle déception ! Et pas de rappel de la concession concernant le kit anti crevaison qui manque.
Fob functions
So, it’s sunny and hot outside. I can use my key fob to open the windows a little to let outside air in to cool the car down. Great. But now, it just started raining cats and dogs. I have to run out to the car to close the windows because the key fob doesn’t allow me to do so. My Mercedes allowed that. For a luxury vehicle, what gives?

Purchased LBX July 2024- was allergic as soon as I got in. They are now using plether not leather. Odour incredibly bad. Bought charcoal,left windows open fir days..still smelt. Gave car to daughter.
She couldn't open passenger door yo let people out. Had to get out of car. Went away fir three weeks. couldnt get in battery dead. We were away so she rang RACQ, said battery dead, had to buy new one. Im home so rang Lexus service . Said it was a common problem but needed to test battery so no refund. Planning on selling after we have had 3 good lexus cars but never again. Friend got locked in her LBX while listening to radio waiting for hubby..lucky he could get her out. Service guy said you have to leave engine on if listening to radio ….huh?Really gone down hill

Changed from Mercedes to Lexus nx350h takumi in March 2024. Although the car goes well there are a few things that dont come up to Mercedes standard. The cameras dont always pick up the speed limit signs, the self park(just been updated) is not good I’ve taken to parking myself in a space the car tells me is to tight. The buttons on the steering wheel are slow to respond and the sat nav takes you down lanes you wouldn’t take a push bike. Lastly the break that comes on if you go close to something is rediculous it could pull your back out. Never had a problem with staff at Bristol always been lovely
Purchase and MOT Issue – RO2X XXX
Disappointed with the post-sale experience on our Lexus RO2X XXX. Just 2,000 miles after a full service, the MOT flagged perishing rear trailing arm bushes — a serious issue at only 36,500 miles.
We question whether the promised checks were ever carried out, especially as no MOT was done before purchase. Communication has stalled, and previous commitments from Guildford Lexus remain unmet.
We expected better from Lexus and now seek a fair resolution under the vehicle’s warranty.

Terrible Lexus roadside service
My Lexus UX300 decided not to want to start this morning .. I thought buying a Lexus would provide me with a quality car and roadside assistance service .. by the way their encore program is terrible too .. more focussed on providing golf events .. AND my car does not want to connect to my mobile phone either .. and Lexus staff is blaming my mobile for it .. but more importantly this morning my Lexus did not want to start (never happened to my previous Subaru XV) .. so I rang Lexus roadside assistance and a message came back that it was going to take 60min .. well I just rang (1 1/2 hr later) and I was told it can take up another 1 hr and maybe more .. ugggghhhh I have to say I am not happy with the Lexus UX 300 or with Parramatta Lexus after service .. but their roadside service is lousy to say the least ..

April is Autism Acceptance Month.
April 2 was Autism Acceptance Day.
I would like to share how lexus treats its Autistic customers.
To help you understand, I will copy from message I wrote to them for my Autistic spouse. He was too crushed and devastated to write it himself.
"1. I have been your customer since 2008.
2. I lease Rex the Lex TXY-7734, Lexus RX 450h from you.
3. I have paid you over $40,000 for Rex the Lex up to date.
4. Both myself and my wife are Autistic.
5. Both my wife and I are self-employed and do not receive any social security benefits. We provide financial support to our elderly disabled parents.
6. In the past few months we have suffered from repeat and severe disability abuse and disability discrimination, which severely impaired our ability to earn income.
7. In November of 2024 we could not earn any income. We were starving and almost became homeless.
8. We have missed payment of $1,600 to you. Statements arrive in the mail. The mail is managed by my wife because I do not have processing power, energy and time to manage it. My wife is high support needs Autistic person. She is dyslexic. Many statements are in unreadable inaccessible dyslexia unfriendly font.
9. This night at 1:31 AM you came like thieves in the night and took Rex the Lex away.
10. Rex the Lex has sign on it that says that we are Autistic. Person who took him came to read the sign and was fully aware of this fact.
11. From this sudden, vicious, and unprovoked abuse I developed severe disability crisis and got injured.
12. Like many other Autistic people, I develop item attachment. Read what it means.
13. Rex the Lex is very well sound insulated and we used him to take ourselves to safety from disability abusing city activities, such as fireworks and construction. We have sensory sensitivity to noise, vibration, light, smell, touch, and close proximity, and develop severe health issues, including seizures and heart failure, when exposed to sensory unfriendly environments.
14. We had our personal possessions, many of which are disability aids, stored inside Rex the Lex when he was taken.
15. April is Autism Acceptance Month. This is how you treated us, your Autistic customers.
16. Return Rex the Lex to me in the same condition that you took him.
17. Waive all default fees, I will simply not be able to pay them. Arrange for payment plan for me to pay you back what I actually owe.
18. If you refuse to cooperate and be reasonable, I will file disability abuse lawsuit against you. In this lawsuit, I will make an emergency injunction request for Rex the Lex to be returned to me.
19. Your behavior was predatory, vicious, and unacceptable."
This was sent on March 31 2025. lexus hid from us for a few days and did not reply to communications. Today we have received notice from them that you can see in my facebook post.
Tomorrow we will file disability abuse and poverty abuse lawsuit against lexus and commonwealth of virginia that allows such predatory unacceptable practices to exist.
We intend to put core provisions of that lawsuit into law as Stop Poverty Abuse act.
If you are Autistic, I encourage you to not do any business with lexus because there is high chance they will treat you the way they treated us. They made my Autistic spouse suicidal. He said "I hate myself" and "I wish I died". And if you are Autistic, you know - we say what we mean and we mean what we say. lexus are predators, Autism haters, and disability abusers. Stay away from them.

Zero Accountability for Dealership Fraud
I’m extremely disappointed in Lexus USA for failing to hold their dealerships accountable for unethical business practices. I had a terrible experience with Lexus of Tacoma at Fife, where they took my $1,000 deposit, failed to deliver the car they promised, lost track of my order entirely, and then refused to refund my money unless I physically went to the dealership—even though I was out of the country.
I gave Lexus USA the opportunity to step in and resolve this, expecting them to care about customer service and fair business practices. Instead, they completely ignored my complaint and refused to address their dealership’s shady behavior. This tells me that Lexus USA does not care about their customers once they’ve taken your money.
This kind of dishonest business should not be associated with a luxury brand. If Lexus USA refuses to investigate their dealerships or protect their customers from getting scammed, why should anyone trust them? I won’t be buying a Lexus again, and I’ll make sure others know about this awful experience.
Avoid Lexus if you expect honesty, accountability, or even basic customer service.
Lexus corporate customer service is…
Lexus corporate customer service is unaccptable. I have a 2016 GX 460. Both rear outter door handles detached from the vehicle for no reason but faulty design and/or cheap plastic parts that have no businesss being on a luxery vehicle. I called Lexus corporate to discuss the problem. I was quickly paired with a case manager who took a week to "thoroughly investige" my situation. By investigate, I mean he emailed the service manager at a local dealership to find out repair price and warrenty information. I could have given him all that information. Long story short, I asked to speak to a supervisor and I have been getting the run around ever since. It's been over a month. There is never a supervisor available and call backs are always two or more business days later and around 7:30 PM when I am typically involved in bedtime routines with my children and don't hear my phone ring. Call back the next day and the same cycle continues. I feel completly dismissed and unheard by this company. I will never own another Lexus. As a comparison's Subaru's corporate office was professional and caring and always made me feel like I was heard and understood.
