Ready for school!
As a teacher, I have always used a satchel as a school bag but an upgrade was long overdue. My new satchel arrived last week and I am looking forward to many years with my stylish and practical new school buddy. The whole purchasing process was simple and felt very personal, with regular contact from the company. They checked that my order fitted all my needs with regards to personalisation and possible additional features, and then kept me informed of progress and dispatch. My new satchel is stunning, the passion and skill of the craftspeople involved is evident, and it is built to last. It is especially lovely to know it was hand crafted in my home city of Liverpool! Using a satchel every day for school gives you a pretty clear sense of what works and what doesn’t, so it’s good to know this one feels like a proper step up rather than just a change. Taking the time to check the details and talk things through is part of making sure it fits the job it’s meant to do, especially when it’s going to be used day in, day out.

Superb service and amazing satchels
I have now bought three school satchels for my children. The service i have received has been exemplary and the satchels are amazing. This is an excellent company
This is an excellent company. Their customer service is second-to-none and they always go the extra mile - or more! The quality of their products is superb- the workmanship is outstanding and the finished product is simply beautiful. I have purchased two satchels from them now and they will last forever - true heirlooms. It is so good to find and support such a fantastic British company.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié la possibilité de pouvoir commander un sac selon mes envies et besoins : modèle, forme, taille, couleur et plusieurs détails de mon choix (modifier la profondeur du sac, trouver un mode de fermeture adéquat...) Les échanges avec Keith ont été agréables et cordiaux, il a été de très bon conseil et j'ai apprécié ses propositions. C'est une relation personnalisée qui s'instaure et c'est vraiment hyper appréciable. On est loin du e-commerce anonyme et sans âme. J'ai reçu mon sac dans des délais parfaits, et il est magnifique ! Chaque fois que je le porte, je n'ai que des compliments car il est original et unique et l'on me demande souvent où je l'ai trouvé. Je ne peux donc que recommander The Leather Satchel Co. ! Je le garderai longtemps, c'est même le genre de sac que l'on transmet.

Birthday Gift
I ordered a briefcase satchel as a gift to myself for a special birthday and am delighted with it, so much so that I have ordered a second in a different colour. It is exactly as I had hoped, traditionally made but also stylish. The service from the company has been exceptional with frequent, friendly emails from Keith updating me on the progress of my order. He even processed it quickly to meet my deadline. Nothing but praise for the company!

We make things a little differently from what you’ll find on the high street, using heavy leathers, thick threads, and crafting each piece so it's made to last.
Everything we create is made to be repaired, not replaced, so it can keep going long after most things would have given up.
Knowing this approach still resonates with people like you is really what keeps us going.

Beautiful satchels
I bought two different size satchels, fast delivery and packed with absolute care, the satchels are so beautifully made I absolutely love them, one is for my daughter and I know she will love it too. Bespoke leather shoulder strap

Incredible craftsmanship and customer service
This is quite possibly the most beautifully made bag I have ever bought. I loved the ability to customise it to make it really perfect for me - I added a back slip pocket and a longer strap. I was contacted by Keith after making the order and he made sure to verify my choices, ensuring that the bag was being made exactly to my needs. He was incredibly polite, understanding and helpful. When the bag arrived it was beautifully packaged and opening it was an experience with a letter outlining the company story and ethos and even a small complimentary gift added to the delivery. I've bought some expensive bags in my life including from top designers but never seen anything being made and delivered with such care and at such an affordable price. I don't think I could go back to Cambridge Satchel now when I know something better exists and can be made to my exact needs. I don't write many reviews but this company is special.

Fantastic Perfect Satchels!!!
This is my third purchase from the Leather Satchel Co. and I thorough recommend them! From choosing a bag (in my case I love the satchels best!) to arranging delivery or getting support to make a bespoke bag, the process is easy and the team are so helpful. I love my satchels and I have a Festival Satchel which is a perfect small size and two 11inch satchels which are fab when you need to catty more. Everyone admires them when I use one. They also come in brilliant storage boxes and bags which means you can keep them clean and ready to use. I love these satchels! 😊

Brilliant quality and customer service
Quite by chance I came across this brilliant little company that is more or less on my doorstep and I didn’t know!
After seeing the quality of their products and the care they put into orders I think I am about to become a regular.
I was looking for personalised passport holders for 2 relatives after theirs were stolen. Keith and his small team came to the rescue and produced 2 beautiful holders within days which were monogrammed and gift wrapped. My relatives were absolutely delighted with them and were amazed by the quality of the leather and construction. I think Keith will be acquiring more new customers as a result!
Thank you Keith for the service you provide which definitely goes far more than an extra mile.
