Bought several bags from The Leather Satchel Company over the past few years. Each bag is excellently made with very high quality leather by outstanding craftsmen. Highly recommended.

The Leather Satchel Company has been an absolute DREAM to work with! I highly recommend them to craft the handbag of your dreams. The ordering process was easy and the options were plenty! The communication was fantastic, and the customer service is a step above! The time and care that is taken to make sure the customer is happy is a breath of fresh air! I'd highly recommend this company if you want a traditional leather satchel, especially if you want to be able to modify/customise the design. The pricing is transparent and a reasonable reflection of the work that goes into their products. Master craftsman Keith Hanshaw discussed my customisation requests thoroughly with me via email and made the experience incredibly accessible. Having had very negative encounters when custom ordering from other businesses, this was nothing like that at all. He took the time to help me understand every step of the process, and never treated my ignorance or inexperience as a hinderance. Buy from this company—you won't regret it.

My bag is exactly what I wanted. The quality is excellent. The attention to detail is meticulous! They went through the details of what I required to ensure that I received exactly what I wanted. I am so happy with my satchel, which I know will last me a lifetime. I felt that they actually care about keeping their customers happy, makes my bag feel all the more special.

I can't say enough about how pleased I am with my new bag! I chose the 14 inch satchel in Pillarbox Red. It's exactly what I wanted, and Keith and I had a great discussion via email about my bespoke monogramming request. You can tell that everyone's really passionate about their work, the quality is top notch and Keith was so knowledgeable and went into clear, detailed answers with all my questions. Once it arrived, the unboxing experience was so carefully designed and so much fun! There hasn't been a single thing through the process that I'm at all unhappy with. This bag is one that will easily last for decades or more if it's cared for! I do have two small suggestions for the bag itself — perhaps you could consider an option for metal studs on the base of the bag for standing it on the ground, and it would be great to have some loops on the straps (like you get on watches) to keep the tail neat and tidy.

After 8 years of daily use the clasp on the strap broke on the large satchel model. The repair was quick and well done. The bag is back in working order and given how it has lasted in over the last 8 years I think it will give more than another 8 years of use. Great service I recommend to anybody looking for a quality product that will last may years and any issues can be quickly and professionally dealt with.

I have bought a number of items from The Leather Satchel Co and each one has been beautifully made with quality materials and the colours closely match those on the website. In addition I have found the After Sales support to be first class. Even if you don't choose the Gift option, your order still arrives carefully packaged to protect the item(s).

I’ve had my patent leather tote for over 10 years now and ruined it by using normal leather polish on it (husbands fault) ,when I reached out for some advice on how to fix it, I received the most incredible surprise.
Keith sent me a patent cleaner and a video tutorial showing me exactly how to use it!

Firstly the service is brilliant, my 1st order was placed in 2021 a Leather Satchel (birthday present) quality like no other. I just got my third Portrait Backpack from Leather Satchel Company and I love it.

I bought my first 13 inch one in 2014 and used it almost every day for 12 years, which is pretty crazy. This new one replaces that original bag. I also have a bigger 15 inch version for travel. They’ve all held up great.

After extensive research I decided to order a bespoke music bag from The Leather Satchel Co and following my initial contact with Keith I knew that I had made the right decision. I admired his passion, his knowledge and his philosphy and I wanted to be part of it.

I was very impressed when I received the bag. I own many designer pieces for special occasions but this a proper British daily workhorse, supremely functional and looks lovely. It exceeded my expectations and I don't think anyone can match it at the price point.

A quintessential addition to my collection and in the true spirit of the most famous of Dickensian characters, I will be back for more...

I needed a new everyday handbag, and decided to buy a medium Pixie in British Tan from the Leather Satchel Company after an excellent experience ordering a music case for my daughter before Christmas. I was fed up with buying bags that look tatty after a year and start to fall apart after two - and was looking for something with more longevity. As before, the quality, service and value for money could not be faulted.

I particularly appreciate that the catch works smoothly, so the bag can be opened and closed securely with one hand and without needing to look. I took it out in the rain and the finished side seems to be pretty water resistant, or even waterproof (although I am not sure it is advertised as such).

One thing to note is that the interior dimensions need to be taken seriously- hopefully it is obvious from the product description, but this is a structured bag and there is no option of overfilling it. I chose the 20mm volume boost and I can fit a (very) large bunch of keys, a large wallet and a phone in a robust case in it comfortably . Add a packet of tissues and it starts to get snug.

I will definitely buy from the Leather Satchel Company again, although I will spend some time living with this bag first, to see whether I should complement it with a different size or style (they have some great colours). I am expecting this one to last long enough for it still to be in good condition and looking great by the time I am ready for another one, so I can run the two alongside each other!

What an excellent experience ordered a Keyring which arrived quickly and exceedingly well packaged which boded well for its contents . Upon opening and unwrapping my Keyring from it’s tissue paper I was presented with a beautiful Keyring very well made and initialed on one side as requested and the other side embossed with the company logo and the year 1966 the colour distressed Mersey waters is a fantastic shade of blue and the Keyring is a credit to the craftsmen that made it in the company,and would not hesitate to recommend the company and its products

I purchased a custom-made mobile phone cover that provides protection for both the screen and the camera lens.

The quality is exceptional and I would recommend this company to anyone seeking bespoke leather products.
