Laifen Wave Aluminium defekt

Ich habe mir die Laifen Wave Aluminium bestellt, weil ich sie vom Design und Feeling echt super finde.
Naja das Produkt kam mit dem "violet light of death" an, also kam das Produkt vollkommen defekt an. Der Customer Support hat nach etwas hin und her einen Ersatz geleistet .. genau das selbe Problem, auf meine Frustration antwortete der Support nur, dass sie mir 30% auf die teurere Variante anbieten können, aber kein entgegenkommen, keine Aussicht auf ein funktionierendes Produkt.
Leider kann ich dieses Produkt und wahrscheinlich die Marke keineswegs empfehlen.

My toothbrush randomly started to not work. It wouldn’t take a charge, it wouldn’t turn on it wouldn’t nothing. It lasted some months so I was in my warranty and I contacted the customer service and boom I got my replacement toothbrush in about a week best customer service ever. I love the toothbrush it gives me a really nice clean and i love that it also brushes in angels. Really recommend

I have some feedback. A pressure sensor would be great, a charging station where you can charge the toothbrush while standing like other toothbrushes would be great. A updated app more modern app example with a feature showing where you’ve cleaned in your mouth would also be a nice touch. Apart from these suggestions, I love the toothbrush – it’s the best I’ve ever used.

Top tandenborstel en goede service

Mijn eerste tandenborstel was helaas defect en werkte helemaal niet. De klantenservice vroeg eerst om foto’s en een paar tests, maar nadat de zaak was doorgezet, werd alles heel netjes opgelost – geld terug en zelfs een nieuwe tandenborstel (Leifen Wave Special) gratis toegestuurd.

De nieuwe werkt perfect en ik ben er echt heel blij mee. Vooral tussen de tanden reinigt hij voor mij veel beter dan de roterende tandenborstel die ik hiervoor gebruikte – het voelt gewoon veel schoner.

Could be better.

Update - Laifen contacted me, and offered their new toothbrush, and extra toothbrush heads. I accepted and chose a color, and they shipped it to me. I just wish I was helped the first time I called. Now, there is a feeling that if I had not put in a review, I wont have got a new one.

Original revire (2/21/26) I bought their toothbrush, titanium version, for $138 on amazon, and it stopped working just outside the warranty period. wont charge at all, even after cleaning points and trying different outlets and chargers. Lasted 2 weeks over warranty period. I called them, and all they offer is a 20% off coupon code if i buy another toothbrush. Great customer service for people spending almost $140 for their product. I saw on reddit and this is a very common problem for their toothbrush.

Terrible battery lifespan

I purchased a toothbrush and it stopped working after a year and 10 days in. I reached out to customer service asking for repair or replacement and they only offered a 20% off a new toothbrush. I am disappointed that they couldn’t provide a some sort of repair or replacement. I actually would have preferred a repair since the stainless steel is sold out. Considering the lithium ion batteries have a typical lifespan of 3 to 5 years it dying after a year has me questioning whether it was a faulty battery to begin with. They also are out of stock of some of the best finishes. I’m not sure if they are going to bring them back or not. The new colors are okay but the other ones looked more sleek and classic in my opinion. Other than the battery lifespan for me it was the perfect toothbrush and I’m disappointed that the battery lifespan didn’t last long.

Qualität oder Ramsch aus China

Ich habe den Rasierer, die elektrische Zahnbürste und den Föhn, alle bei Amazon bestellt. Verkauf und Versand fanden für den Rasierer und die Zahnbürste bei Amazon statt. Der Verkauf und Versand für den Föhn erfolgten durch Laifen. Da ich Premiumkunde bei Amazon bin, kamen Rasierer und Zahnbürste in gewohnt kürzester Zeit ( 2 Tage)und in 1a Qualität bei mir an. Der Föhn sollte in ca. 3 Wochen bei mir sei, aber- und jetzt kommt die Überraschung- er kam nicht aus China, sondern aus einem Ort in Deutschland und war ebenfalls in 3 Tagen bei mir.
Nun zur Firma Laifen : Es wird viel über Produkte aus China geschimpft, aber in China verhält es sich so, wie bei uns in Deutschland : Wer billig kauft, kauft Schrott.
Qualität hat ihren Preis, bei uns und in China !
Deutsche, Japanische und sogar Koreanische Firmen lassen in China produzieren und natürlich unter entsprechender Qualitätskontrolle. Die technische Qualität der Laifen-Produkte gehört tatsächlich zur Oberklasse, was allein schon durch deren Verpackung bewiesen wird.
LAIFEN gehört in China zur Premium-Class und versucht es auch, bei uns zu werden. Natürlich, aller Anfang ist schwer und bei uns herrscht noch zuviel Voreingenommenheit gegenüber Produkten aus China,
aber die Japaner haben es uns 1969 vorgemacht und China wird es auch so machen, den Langmut haben sie dazu.

Amazing customer service

I have never experienced such great customer service. I bought a hairdryer under two years ago and it stopped working. I contacted customer service who answered immediately. They replaced the hairdryer. Outstanding communication.

Gaslighting 101

Editing to add: Laifen reached out to me and apologized. They also sent me the diffuser I wanted and offered a free toothbrush. I appreciate the follow up. Changing my one star to 3 because they cared enough to reach out directly. But I’m still keeping my original review below because that’s how I got here.

They must train customer service to never admit the customer is right because I have been gaslit for over a week. I initially contacted Laifen because I bought the SE dryer because it’s supposedly so quiet but when you use the diffuser it's extremely loud. I asked if the diffuser for the Swift was quieter than the SE and was told they come with the same diffuser which is not true. I did my research, the diffusers are different. When I told them it was a different diffuser I was then told that there were two, an old one and a new one. I was then told that the NEW one was quieter "and has perforated metal inside which can make it quieter". Great, that's the one I want! The NEW one. I send pics of mine that DOES NOT have the perforated metal inside. They respond that I have the new one, what I want is the OLD one. NOPE, I then send pics (again) of my diffuser with NO perforated metal inside. To which I get the same response, that I have the new one. And the new one is the one with the perforated metal inside. OMG. This goes on for over a week. I don't know if I emailing a robot or a human, but the emails contradict themselves over and over. Even when I quote the rep back to herself, she continues to gaslight! "The new one is has the perforated metal inside." Me: GREAT, I want the new one! Her: You have the new one, I will send you the old one. OMG!!!!! I feel like I am going insane. So at this point I have NO CLUE what they are sending me...I have stated repeatedly I want the one with the perforated metal. THAT'S ALL I WANT!! But the insanity just keeps on going. I even called them THREE TIMES and told them what was happening and the CS reps on the phone have no clue. They don't seem to know their products AT ALL. Is the goal to drive your customer so crazy that she just gives up? Because MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

It’s been over 4 days I placed an order…

It’s been over 4 days I placed an order for SE hair dryer through Laifen India website. I’ve gotten no information expect your order is confirmed mail, no customer care picks up the call and there’s no revert to emails ad. well.The worst service ever!
I needed the hair dryer to be delivered fo my partner’s birthday but the experience in India has been completely unprofessional.
Please refrain from buying Laifen products and save your money y’all.

TRUFFA

Nonostante le rassicurazioni fornite dal servizio clienti sulla gestione del mancato arrivo del mio ordine, sono costretto a fare una nuova recensione.
Dal 7/12 il pacco non è mai arrivato, ho chiesto la bolla di scarico che è risultata non firmata e da allora aspetto una soluzione e/o la restituzione dei miei soldi.
Non risponde più nessuno, se il problema non viene risolto entro la fine del mese andrò a sporgere denuncia per truffa e continuerò a raccontare quanto accaduto.

Poor product quality and unacceptable customer service

My Laifen hair dryer suddenly stopped working without any warning or damage, which already raises serious concerns about product quality.

Despite still being under warranty, Laifen refused to honor it because I originally bought the product in Denmark and now live in Germany.

I placed a new order on 10.11.25, and from that point on there, the nightmare started:

There was no proactive communication whatsoever from Laifen about the whereabouts of the hairdryer. I had to contact Laifen multiple times just to get updates. They repeatedly told me the blue color I ordered would be available “next week,” which turned out to be untrue. After weeks of delays, I called them out on their lies and they offered a white hairdryer instead - after reluctantly accepting it, the same thing happened again: silence, no updates, delays, until they much later claimed that also white is out of stock.

Two months later:
after continuous follow-ups from my side, they said my desired color had finally shipped. The product finally arrived - in white, not blue.

After endless delays, misinformation, and zero accountability, I now have a product shipped to my home that I never wanted. And I’m now expected to spend even more time returning a product I never wanted.

What a time kill. Wish I had never ordered there.

It started with bad quality (I should’ve known there), and it ended with wasted time and even worse customer service. I do not recommend Laifen.

Edit: Despite commenting here on my review (very quickly), I want to inform everyone here that Laifen’s customer support never reached out to me with a solution. Just saying.

KEEPS BREAKING

I bought the laifen switch 1 year ago and after 6 months they had to send a new one because the heat stopped working now I just returned that one for the same reason. When I received the new one today it only had cold air. DO NOT BUY . UPDATE they sent a brand new one we will see how long this works

Their customer service is poor

Their customer service is poor. The fedex driver left the box 1/4 mile from my porch in the pouring rain. When I went out to get it it was gone. I tried filing a claim with fedex. They said Laifen has to file the claim. Any other claim I have had I was able to file directly but not with laifen’s product. I have been trying to get then to refund me for 10 days. All they keep saying is they are investigating. All the while they cashed my $105. I can’t talk to fedex. I can’t talk to them about a refund because they say they are “investigating”. Just frustrating!!!

Payé mais jamais reçu MAIS remboursé

Commande passée le 19 novembre et à ce jour toujours rien reçu. Le suivi a indiqué successivement « en route », puis « en cours de préparation », puis de nouveau « en route » avant de disparaître sans aucune explication. Aucune information claire sur l’état réel de la commande.
J’ai ouvert un litige PayPal pour « objet non reçu », le vendeur a été informé mais n’a jamais pris la peine de répondre à mes messages ni de proposer une solution. Ce manque total de communication et de sérieux est inacceptable.
Au vu de cette expérience (commande payée, suivi fantaisiste, absence de livraison et de service client), je ne recommande absolument pas ce site et déconseille d’y passer commande.

Modification : aprés réclamation je viens de recevoir le remboursement de cette commande. Je ne testerai malheureusement pas ce sèche cheveux.

Jag köpte min första Laifen tandborste…

Jag köpte min första Laifen tandborste för tre år sedan och den fungerar som ny idag. Jag har även köpt tandborstar till min fru och dotter och vi är väldigt nöjda.

Min frus gick sönder efter 1,5 år och de ha hade en fantastisk kundtjänst som guidade oss igenom processen så hon nu har en fungerande ny borste.

Fick även deras nya rakapparat i julklapp och allt från unboxing till design till själva rakningen har varit över förväntan.

Riktigt bra!

Powerful drying for wavy hair

This dryer is powerful and dries my hair so much faster than others I’ve tried. I have wavy hair and use the diffuser and heat cycle setting so it doesn’t get too hot.

Mein Laifen
Föhn war nach wenigen Monaten defekt. Der Motor funktionierte nicht mehr, und der Föhn ließ sich nicht mehr einschalten. Der Kundenservice war zwar gut erreichbar, ich warte jetzt aber seit mehreren Wochen auf einen neuen Föhn. Nach Angaben des Kundenservice ist der Föhn derzeit nicht lieferbar. Das war definitiv meine letzte Bestellung bei diesem Unternehmen!
