I wanted continuity for my Fitness to Practice case so I have used Catherine from the start (3 years). The advice she gave for my preparation of evidence, I’m glad to say that I do not regret taking it and from the outcome it was the right choice!

Catherine is truly gifted at her job. I instructed her from the beginning of SWE's investigation against me and she has had my back right from the start. Her honesty, integrity and determination has ensured I felt supported along the way. She has today represented me in a review hearing for a conditions of practice order, and presented such compelling legal arguments SWE revoked the conditions of practice order with immediate effect. Following on from my FtP hearing in June 2023, I once again sought counsel for a review hearing after a six month suspension. I thought about going it alone but I am very glad I didn't. I had to prepare for this hearing in the same way as the previous, and Catherine gave me the tools to do this. I was guided through the process and the GDC could not argue when they viewed the work I had done on remediation, reflection and insight in which Catherine had set for me.
