I bought the C&C cage with acrylic panels
I bought the C&C cage with acrylic panels about 6months ago. Although the acrylic panels are more visually pleasing, I would recommend the metal as the acrylic are a bit fiddly to put back together when cleaning. One of the corners of one snapped when reassembling, so I contacted customer service asking whether I could just buy 4 of the metal panel replacements as the minimum you can buy is 8 online. They sent an acrylic panel replacement and 4 metal panels free of charge! Fantastic customer service, will continue buying from Kavee!

When assembled correctly, the grids should firmly click into the connectors, with the coroplast base properly folded and placed on a stable surface, and the overall structure should remain secure provided no external pressure is applied to the panels.

Totally sturdy when instructions are followed!…
I couldn’t be happier with my Kavee cage. I had heard mixed reviews about stability of the cage - honestly
I think people just aren’t fully slotting the panels in, because once that is done (& I did need a rubber mallet at times to fully get them flush with the connector) it is as steady as a rock.
I’m not good at DIY and I enjoyed building my Kavee cage. I’d advise fully watching the video and taking time to make sure every panel is fully fitted into the connector.
The hardest part of the build was the clear panel fitting. That needed a bit of elbow grease to fit them fully.
I showed the finished piece to a friend and she said “that’s not a guinea pig cage that’s a guinea pig palace!”.

Nice home for the piggies but …
The CC cage set up is a nice home for our piggies, and my daughter loves that they are off the floor (they seem to also). However it doesn’t hold together as well as I’d hoped. When cleaning I always have to put sections of it back together again and frequently we make do with some panels fallen off in between refits. I’ve tried to push them together as hard as I can but it just doesn’t seem to want to hold. In summary it does the job but I feel it is expensive for something I have to keep fiddling around with.

Our C&C cages are fully modular, which allows for customisation and more space compared to standard one-piece cages. Because of this modular design, they can be a little more sensitive during cleaning or movement.
All of our cages should hold together well when assembled correctly ensuring the grids are fully clicked onto the connectors, the coroplast base is properly folded, and the cage is placed on a stable, level surface. Following these steps usually helps keep everything secure while still giving you the flexibility to adjust or expand your setup as needed.

I only didn’t give a five because the delivery time was quite long and there are no quicker options and as the order was not cheap it’s slightly irritating when there is little notice from Evri wen it will actually arrive I didn’t want it left on my doorstep if I was out, the products are great as always with this company they do make good quality products

All the stuff is great and packaged nicely!! Although with the cage i think there should be paper instructions as-well, as the videos can be confusing.

I found the cage a bit fidgety to put…
I found the cage a bit fidgety to put up and not as stable and secure as I would have hoped. From what I can see, there isn’t a way for me to fully close it when I put the lid down. Don’t get me wrong, I love the cage and the space it offers the guinea pigs, I just would have preferred for the cage to have an actual bottom to it, or to have the grey material somehow clip on to the bars so it’s easier to move around
