No reply from Customer Service - what more can i say. Sent reminder still no reply. No worries - i wont be buying any more products. I then wont need to email you again. I take it all back. the owner phoned me and offered me a generous discount on a new watch - I am delighted with the service.

The Kartel watch making experience was extremely fun! My family and I recently went in to get some new timepieces and had a great time. The sales associates, Brad and John walked us through all the different models and what they meant for both day to day wearing and their overall history.

Great experience with knowledgeable staff who do not put on pressure on you and help you find the best watch for you.

I had a Virgin Experience which was written as "Learn about the world of Kartel as you design a watch that reflects your style." Having repaired multiple types of watches this was an exciting present.
However I dont consider choosing a pre built watch and a strap to go with it as watch design. I asked about changing the hands of the watch to a different colour and was told that what I see is what I get. The whole experience lasted 15 minutes. I did walk out with a nice watch, but putting a strap on that is done for you is hardly a watch design. More mix and match. Disappointing.

Brad from the outset was friendly and helpful. He explained the history of Kartel, all the watches and the origins of their names and gave us plenty of time to decide on our choices. Even the music was to my husbands taste too, it was a lovely hour and came away with our watches and one very happy and impressed hubby. Thanks Brad!

Very bad customer service, the watch us stunning however the original box was never sent out to me. Even when I rang and tried to chase it up there wasnt any progress made.
I chose the most expensive watch and the stripe only last couole of months. This part is not under warranty so had to buy a new one for £40.
The watch experience was very interesting but apart from that I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

We were served by John in the Edinburgh store. It was a lovely experience and my husband thoroughly enjoyed designing his own watch. John’s passion for the company and his customer service were absolutely excellent throughout.

Went in to get my old watch repaired (I smashed it) and after lots of discussion, trying on and decisions bought a new watch too. The staff were amazing discussing options and the best options/straps etc.
Highly recommend Kartel in St Andrews.

Koren was great! She was extremely helpful and patient while we looked at and picked out our watches! My father-in-law, myself, and my two brother-in-laws bought watches to celebrate our first trip to Scotland. We love our Kartel watches! Thank you Koren!

My partner received a voucher for the watchmaking experience at the Edinburgh branch. As soon as we came in John and Brad brought us over seats and offered us drinks ranging from Irn Bru to whiskey, they had also bought snacks as well. They explained the history of the company and the difference purposes of the watch faces and straps. They also advised some combinations they thought would go well. And asked what music we liked and played it through the speakers in the shop and they were not pushy at all and allowed my partner to try on as many different options as he wanted.

I have tried to email Bobby given his response to this review, but the email just bounced back. I also tried to contact Kart through their website, again no response!!!!

My husband was given this‘experience’ (and I use the term loosely) for his 60th birthday. He arrived at the shop on one of the hottest days of the year at midday and was offered whiskey, beer, tea, coffee or water. He opted for water which was a warm bottle off the shelf. The whole experience was over in 20 minutes and the experience consisted of choosing a face, a strap, and a coloured buckle for the strap. He was then informed that the watch was out of stock and it would be sent to him in 2 weeks. The watch arrived after 3 weeks. It’s an ok watch, but he honestly said he’s had more fun and involvement at a Build A Bear session with our granddaughter! It honestly can’t be called a watch building experience - just a choose a strap and face session. Not recommended at all.
