After putting the Kailas FUGA EX330 through multiple training sessions and races on mixed terrain, including technical trails and distances up to 50K, I can confidently say this is a very solid trail running shoe.

The standout feature is undoubtedly the grip. The outsole performs exceptionally well on a wide variety of surfaces, providing excellent traction and confidence on technical terrain. The shoe is also impressively lightweight, making it comfortable for both long training runs and race day.

I tested the shoe on mixed and technical terrain, and overall it performed very well. My only observation is that on tight single-track trails with sharp turns and off-camber sections, it doesn’t feel quite as stable as some other trail shoes I’ve used. I believe this can be improved by using an aftermarket insole with additional arch support, which helps increase stability without compromising comfort.

Durability has also been excellent. The upper feels strong and well-built, and the shoe is available in a great variety of color options. So far, the materials have held up very well under demanding trail conditions.

An important point worth mentioning is that I purchased this model for six other runners in addition to myself. Between all seven of us, the shoes have been tested in races up to 50K, and they have successfully passed that real-world test with consistently positive feedback.

If I could suggest improvements for a future version, I would increase the heel-to-toe drop from 5 mm to around 8 mm. I also believe the forefoot geometry could benefit from a more efficient propulsion or rocker design to provide a smoother and more powerful toe-off during long-distance running.

Overall, the Kailas FUGA EX330 is an excellent trail running shoe with outstanding grip, low weight, durable construction, and reliable performance across a wide range of terrain. It has become one of my top recommendations for runners looking for a capable shoe for training and racing on technical trails.

I paid for 3-5 business day shipping, but received it 2 weeks later. Shoe is comfortable, but material needs huge improvement. Not durable at all, which is necessary for trail running.

I love the trail runners. I think the delivery time could be faster. I know that you can pay extra for expedited delivery but maybe consider that if somebody purchased over say $500 they get free expedited delivery?

I emailed them with no answer. Both through their chat and via email. Nothing. I won't buy anything cause in case of any problems there is nobody who can help. Shame.

Easy process to order, the only thing I would suggest is the time it take for delivery. The shoes a great, will definitely buy again.

Informative website, which made my choice of shoe easy to select, shipping took a little longer than expected, but considering they shipped from overseas it wasn’t horrible.

The shoes i ended up with i am reasonably happy with but the lack of stock on the shoes I actually wanted is a concern. Many sizes in the design i wanted were out of stock. I was prepared to wait but not given this option.

The shoes are great, but the service is the worst I ever received from a sports brand.
You want to sell outside China? Stick to local laws and reply to service mails.

I ordered a pair of Kailas (FUGA) shoes in size 10.5, which is the same size I normally wear in Hoka, Nike, and other U.S. footwear brands, so I ordered the same size through kailasgear.com website

The shoes arrived and the quality appears good, but they fit noticeably too large, so I contacted Kailas to exchange them for size 10.

The response was disappointing for a premium technical footwear brand selling to U.S. customers. Instead of providing a straightforward exchange process, they suggested that I keep the shoes and either resell them or gift them to family or friends. That is not a realistic solution for a customer who purchased expensive performance footwear and simply needs the correct size.

I clearly explained that I am willing to pay reasonable return shipping costs. I already have the shoes packed and ready to return, but for international returns to China, proper return instructions and importer information are required. As of May 20, I still have not received the information needed to proceed with the exchange.

The product itself may be good, but the post-purchase support and exchange process do not match the premium image the company presents online.

If Kailas wants to seriously compete in the U.S. market, they should offer a more professional exchange system, ideally with a U.S. return facility or at minimum clear and timely return instructions for international customers.

As of May 20, I have not received any further response regarding my exchange request, so I will now proceed with contacting my credit card company regarding the unresolved return situation.

Also, customers should be aware that using the Shop App does not appear to provide additional customer service support or exchange assistance in situations like this.
