Poor communication and quality
Terrible experience from purchase 4 months ago. Order number #5255.
Delivery took longer than their website indicates, and no delivery details were provided, (I had to chase for them and was told they couldn't log in to their own system to check and a tree was blocking a road), so we were away when it arrived.
Their terms for reporting any issues are 12 hours from delivery.
Arrived badly damaged, and not just from transport.
Gem and Jon have avoided dealing with my dozen or so emails to address.
Luxury is very much not the case.
Garden furniture imported from China, stored badly, marked up and sold on. Showing plenty of surface rust already.
Avoid at all (literal) costs.
Unprofessional from start to finish.
*Edit: In an enormous coincidence, I received an email, apology and the issue was dealt with not long after this review went up so editing the review to reflect.

I purchased a bench and was a little apprehensive about buying without physically seeing it. Due to size and distance it took a little longer than expected to arrive but when it did , I loved it. It was exactly as described. The delivery driver was great , messaged to say the time and date he would arrive and carried it into the garden. I would definitely buy from John Cowell again

Outstanding product
Upon receiving the jaguar ornament that I ordered I was extremely satisfied with the product. It is now a centre piece on my dining room table. Would highly recommend this seller, can’t fault the product or the manor in which it was received.

Quickly rectified issue. Mirror looks great.
A slightly damaged mirror was sent out and promptly replaced when I contacted them. No quibble at all. Mirror was exactly what the space needed.
