I went to J&K to purchase a new bedroom suite for my new home. We are older so we are downsizing from a larger home to a home in the Old Village with smaller bedrooms. I should have waited until we moved but I wanted the bedroom suite when we moved in! After receiving my new furniture I was not happy with the bulkiness of especially the bed so I asked if I could return it and purchase another suite from them. They said that I would have to pay a restocking fee of 50% and a pick up fee….that would have been over $2000 which I think is rediculous and outrageous! Our sales person was very helpful but the manager was not and I also spoke with customer service who was absolutely no help at all! I understand that I would pay a restocking fee and pickup fee but not that much …. They did not care that I was not happy so I will never purchase anything else from them and advise others the same! I have spoken with numerous other stores to check their policies for returns and no one was anywhere close to their policies! Some companies give you a certain amount of time to see it in your home or to change your mind! Beware of their outrageous restocking fees!

My experience with J&K Furnishings was top tier! They were on top of everything and so professional with my redecorating. They made my experience easy and no stress! I will definitely be using them again! I want to give a shout out to John Hanna for making our experience wonderful. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect furniture for our family room.

John Hanna was the best part of my entire experience buying a new bed and mattress! JK is such an amazing company and I can’t wait to come back and buy more furniture in the future!

Laura Newland is a true professional. She helped us navigate a tricky floor plan dilemma and offered expert guidance on product selection. The ordering and delivery of our furniture was handled perfectly, making the entire renovation much smoother. I can't recommend her services enough!

We updated a room full of furniture with Geralyn Marshburn. She was great to work with. She listened to our likes , dislikes , and our concerns . She came up with several options and price points in which she helped us narrow down. Ultimately allowing us to pick the best quality furniture within our budget.

Geralyn accompanied the delivery men Q, Brian and Clay the day of delivery. The crew was top notch. All were friendly, courteous and professional.

Laura Newland was our interior decorator at the Mount Pleasant J&K Home Furnishings. She volunteered to come out to our house to get an idea what we were looking for. My wife and I do not have a good sense of design. We know what we like and do not like but have no vision. Laura was very patient and helpful in figuring out how to meet our needs and give us a design we loved. She even helped us with paint colors and options to repurpose some furniture pieces in other areas of the house. Laura also was very accommodating to changes to the original order with no sense of sales pressure. Highly recommend Laura and will use her for future design needs we have.

I purchased a Basset sofa and was assured by the salesman that the loose back pillow cushions could be made in a particular style. When the sofa arrived, the pillow style was not as I had ordered. I appealed to the store to correct the problem and was told that the cushions were standard for that sofa. My choices were to return the sofa and pay a restocking fee, have new cushions made at my expense or live with what I received. I also learned that the salesman who sold the sofa had left the company, so I had no recourse with him. I doubt I will purchase anything else from J and K as a result of my experience.

We bought a Tempur Pedic mattress here a couple years ago and when we wanted a new side chair for the living room we returned to look around the store. We were greeted, given some suggestions and allowed to browse casually. We found a chair that suited us and Lisa Miller assisted in our purchase. It was delivered 2 days later by 3 very polite young men. We appreciate the quality of the leather chair, the comfort for us and the bonus was that it was on clearance sale! We would recommend anyone to stop in at J&K Home Furnishings. We found the quality and prices at some of the other Beachy stores was not up to our liking.

Ryan was so easy to work with and answered many questions about mattresses and furniture. I shopped around hard and they made me the very best offer and were the best to deal with. I am very happy with my experience.

My sister ordered a power recliner for $2800. She was told it would take a month for the special order. 3.5 months later she has NO chair. She is disabled. They have her money and now wont return her calls. I would never shop there. BEWARE

We highly recommend purchasing your furniture from J&K HOME FURNISHINGS and especially from designer and salesperson NORA PEARSON. Nora is a true professional and helped us tremendously. She came to our home and gave us excellent design ideas and suggestions and as a salesperson she was extremely helpful in helping us find what we needed at the best possible sales price. We highly recommend J&K HOME FURNISHINGS and especially NORA PEARSON.

We went to JK Home Furnishings because we wanted to deal with a local store to purchase our Dream Cloud mattresses. The sales people were polite and helpful but after we paid nearly $4000.00 for new mattresses and bases, it took nearly a month to get them. While I understand they can't necessarily control the shipping from a supplier, they need to know how long things will truly take and be upfront and honest about it. We were told to expect the items in one to two weeks. We had issue with the first mattresses and had to order replacements and so far it has been the same experience. I would recommend using a company that stocks what you want locally if you don't want to go through the hassle of waiting and getting excuses when you call to find out what the status is.

Great customer service at the store always, was a great delivery, and set up!

Geralyn was kind and knowledgeable. She helped us with design options and found the perfect sofa for us. Delivery was quick,easy and the sofa is high quality, extremely comfortable and beautiful. We highly recommended Geralyn and J&K

Tammy was well informed and help my husband and I select all custom Living Room furniture. She was a pleasure to work with and made the experience effortless.

We were told 8 weeks then called and told 8 more weeks…. We are still waiting

Lisa Miller, my sales representative was extremely knowledgeable patient, kind, and was diligent to find what I wanted through the entire process! I am grateful for the quality of the furniture and staff! I will definitely shop here again!
