The floor routing was quick with no mess, the pipes were installed tested and grooves filled with latex a whole area with two loops and about 150m of pipe were completed in about 6 hrs in total

JK retro UF installation
JK floor heating carried out a retro installation of UF heating. I found them to be incredibly professional from start to finish. On installation day the team were courteous and hard working and carried out the task brilliantly, the equipment & skill of the operators ensured a very neat layout with little to no dust and a clean environment once completed. JK after care is brill
JK installed my system (channels cut into screed) earlier this year. We're super happy with the quality of the heating system and how evenly, quickly and cheaply it heats our home. it's never been so comfortable and easy to heat. but on top of this, their customer service is excellent. i've called them twice, once to discuss zoning between upstairs (rads) and downstairs (ufh), and the second time to resolve a pump issue, and both times they've been super helpful. i'll use them again when we move, no question

Fantastic system and customer service
Following the comments of many other reviewers, I can't fault any aspect of the process with JK Floorheating, from quotation through to installation and final payment. Despite having to rearrange the installation date due to delays with the build, it was never an issue (I did give plenty of notice). Graham (the branch manager) was very helpful and answered any questions I had. The guys who came to install were lovely.
The system itself is also very clever, it has been amazing being able to install UFH without any additional floor buildup in our existing house as well as the extension. I work in the construction industry and everyone I have spoken to about this system is fascinated.
We haven't started using it yet as are still installing the final floor finishes, but all good so far. I'll try and remember to come back and update my review once we have been using the system for a while.

So glad I went with JK
As other reviewers have noted, its hard to fault the service by JK - they were excellent throughout the design and installation.
One issue that caused us some delay and heartache and that other potential users should be aware of. is that any bitumen adhesive left on the screed floor from previous flooring must be completly removed before JK can install.......and its not easy to find contractors willing to do it

Bitumen on floors is indeed an issue that can cause some problems in floors, especially older properties as it was commonly used in old flooring types such as thermoplastic tiles.
Asbestos [low trace] can be present in this product and it does also mean that our additional service to seal the floor with our flexseal service can not be provided as the product is not compatible with old bitumen adhesives.
What we can say however, is that despite your struggles here to find a contractor who would remove it, is that now it has gone, you have a floor that will be very robust as the bitumen being removed will have give a great key to the surface in order to then have new primers / levelling compounds poured over the top of it.
Overall, we certainly hope you are pleased with the work and that the system delivers you home warmth and comfort for many years to come.

WOW - COULDN’T BE HAPPIER!
WOW! Josh and James were absolutely fantastic and a credit to the company. Both were skilled, considerate and knowledgeable. The UFH was installed in 2 days (rear extension) and looks superb. I honestly can’t praise these guys enough. Stuart (manager) was also a joy to deal with and I have no hesitation in recommending this company and system to others.

From estimate to completion of the install JK have been superb. firstly very patient while preparing multiple quotes for me with differing options. Then excellent communications and clear instructions in preparation.
