Wast of time and money
Paid for a package with jetpack for my Vacation had the craziest experience just to get it work in the end it never did

AWFUL. I've been a JP user for many years however over time it has just become unusable everything is behind a paywall. Literally the only useful feature left from this app is mobile posting but I am almost certain that will eventually disappear too. Monetization also doesn't work unless you're subscribed now despite ads showing on site without an active sub so where are the warnings going then? It is a shame what happened to Jetpack has truly become not only difficult to use and figure out but one giant money grab like the desperation is REAL.
The Jetpack app is the worst thing…
The Jetpack app is the worst thing there is for creating blogs and websites. It constantly has issues that, according to customer service, are being addressed and fixed. Wrong! This app is worth a dime. With every update, you have to hope that yet another problem or bug doesn't crop up, removing essential features (in my case, it's the search bar within the reader. I used it every time to search for blogs to visit, without having to waste too much time. Before, I could just type the first letters of the blog and find it right away. Now this feature is gone, and if the app was already awful before, it's gotten even worse). There are constant crashes and various problems. And I'm not the only one who says this, because there have been and still are, both in blog posts and browsing the web, many who complain about these problems. Developers enjoy making life difficult for those who have a blog or website on their platform, not caring that it gets worse with every update. Need some advice? Avoid it! Avoid this platform like the plague because it will only create problems that will never be solved; in fact, more will continually arise. Because of them, after almost seven years of blogging, I'm now very tempted to close my blog because I can't afford to constantly encounter problems caused by constant updates.
I repeat: if you want to create a blog or website, avoid Jetpack like the plague.
Oh, and to be completely honest, they're also liars to the nth degree: with the "excuse" that if I hadn't switched to Jetpack and abandoned WordPress, I'd no longer be able to fully utilize my blog, they tricked me into uninstalling WordPress and replacing it with Jetpack... only to later discover, through the comments of some followers, that what I'd been told wasn't true and that I could have just as easily continued using WordPress.
For all these reasons, Jetpack is the worst, if not one of the worst apps you can find in the stores, whether Apple, Google, etc.
Because there's no option to give zero stars because this platform deserves zero.
One star is already too many.

Slows Down Every Website I've had and that's over 20. Also. On my Analytics most of my views are from Jetpack. Deleted it now and site is waayyyyy quicker the plugin that claims to speed up your website is the thing slowing it down. I think this is intentional so you upgrade.

This review is about Jetpack VideoPress. I was looking for a service to store my videos and link them to my WordPress website. I did some research, not enough and ChatGPD recommended VideoPress as one option to get away from all the ads that YouTube free service adds to your videos. Also considered Vimeo but costs and storage capacity was too high. Jetpack sold their VideoPress as a seamless option to store and link videos to my WordPress site. The capacity and price were very reasonable and so a jumped into it too quick. The support group was very responsive but very confusing due to different agents with each email communication and mostly because of their very complex programing technical requirements that they laid out for my Hosting service to comply with or as they relayed Timeout errors would happen and VideoPress only worked sometimes and they were correct on this point. I added 4 videos then lost two of them, they just disappeared after I linked them to my website of course.ah crap!!
I relayed 4-5 email requests from Jetpack support to my Shared hosting service, Dreamhost . Dreamhost addressed each one and even provided tech programing responses back. I am not a programmer and got lost as the Middleman. Soon Jetpack technical support stopped responding to my Hosting services responses , they said they were unlocking tasks and complying to Jetpack requests and I think they were. Why? Like I said because Jetpack stopped responding when I routed the technical responses from Dreamhost to Jetpack. There was obviously an extensive level of program handshaking that had to occur to get Jetpack VideoPress to work without timeout errors and Jetpack also insisted on several of the hosting unlocks as a method of monitoring my VideoPress Media downloads and to supposely allow more efficient technical support in the future. At the end of the day , I decided it wasn't worth the hassle after losing many video files added to my VideoPress Media library that just disappeared.
I sent Jetpack a request to close my account after deactivating and deleting all their plugins on my site. I relayed that I would file a bank dispute within 4 days if no refund for their service. They did respond immediately and execute a refund that should come through in 5-7 days.

When a ticket is handled by a different agent every time the user replies, agents are not motivated to make any effort to solve the problem.
Absolutely horrendous experience
Absolutely horrendous experience. The first time I used Jet pac it worked. I just spent 2 hours trying to set up the data and nothing worked. The chat experience was awful and not helpful. Save your time and money. Use another service.
Han destrozado mi comunidad sin piedad ni compasión
Contraté el plan Growth para poder migrar mis suscriptores al servicio de newsletter de Jetpack, que llevaba utilizando en paralelo durante más de 12 años.
Pues bien, tras la revisión manual de la importación (obligatoria cuando superas los 10.000 contactos) han decidido cancelar el servicio de newsletter de forma permanente y unilateral.
Ya no puedo enviar boletines ni conseguir nuevos suscriptores.
Me he quedado de piedra. Ni un aviso, ninguna advertencia, ni opción a revertir nada. Y eso a pesar de que durante el proceso recibí emails de confirmación de los suscriptores válidos, baneados o rebotados.
Si se srealiza una revisión manual ¿no deberían contactar previamente para informar de cualquier problema y poder detener la importación?
He pagado por un servicio y se me cancela una de las principales opciones de por vida, ¿quién puede entender esto?
Y menos todavía cuando el grueso de la importación son suscriptores de otras cuentas de Jetpack, que siguen funcionando a día de hoy sin problemas.
¿Qué pasa con los suscriptores que ya tenía previamente? ¿ahora resulta que tampoco valen?
Me parece una medida totalmente desproporcionada. Han destrozado años de trabajo generando una comunidad en esta plataforma.

Was using it perfectly fine
Was using it perfectly fine. Now requires you to pay them to upgrade to commercial/business to just see the most basic stats. In other words, there's nothing free about it anymore. It's one thing if you want additional features. It's another thing to just block someone out of all of the stats they've seen for years because now you want a payday.

The whole suite is a con, made by con artists. Luckilly for WordPress users, there is plenty of other decent people making Wordpress plugins that do a similar, and in some cases BETTER job than Jetpack does.

I can't access specific WordPress posts listed on the internet through Jetpack.com. Very frustrating.
This WordPress plug-in is such an amazing plug-in. That can make blogging very profitable.
This WordPress plug-in is such an amazing tool. It has not only helped my content creation, story telling and blogging emencely. The security and work flow production is top notch. Has brought my Blogging to a whole new level. Makes integrations between different apps a breeze. Still can't believe how much my production has grew. Typing seems so simple now.

Purchased the newsletter creator…
Purchased the newsletter creator subscription, I was notified that I had to get a commercial license, upgraded and paid for that. Newsletetr has NEVER worked. Support is exremly hard to get a hold off, once I did. I was told it was working BUT my clients and myself are subscribers know one has recieved a newsletter. When I brought this to there attn, they stopped responding. Paid for a feature that doesnt work , wont refund me, now I am disputing with my bank. Boor service and application features
Jetpack = greed pack
I have been using Jetpack since creating my site in 2011. Thanks to recent Jetpack changes, I can no longer access my statistical data without paying a ridiculously excessive monthly ‘subscription’.
This greedy change affects millions of users who’ve rightly had free access to their stats for years – 15 years in my case – and expect them to be available without being extorted into paying a fortune to regain access to them. I don’t think this is an unreasonable expectation.
Having to pay $300 AUD a year to access basic stats is outrageous and the pricing for other modules is similarly excessive. Jetpack wants $12.95 EVERY MONTH for a search bar for example.
The price for the complete Jetpack package is currently $900AUD per year, almost as much as the entire Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. I cannot imagine how anyone at Automattic sees this pricing as reasonable.
Current Jetpack pricing is, sadly, completely out of touch with reality and I therefore can no longer recommend this once useful, high-value software.

I particularly like the AI assistant - it helps me to improve my content.
I also use the Newsletter feature which is great. I'd love to be able to create a Welcome email series depending on which subscription form someone signs up with though. That would be game changer.

I don't have any website but JETPACK tried to charge my card. I visit their website at jetpack.com and at the contact us section they don't have an email to contact them. I don't judge the plugin, i judge how they work, that if you add your card and you stop using their service they will continue to try to charge you. Imagine if you have an annual plan this can be $127 . The only solution i can thing at the moment is to go to my bank to cancel my card and make a new one.
