Quality of gentleman was a 10.
Courteous, generous with providing time to get to know each other and paying for my meal was a plus.

I have been on one date with someone who was clearly outside of my preferences and I have received countless messages to write a review. More communications, in fact, to write a review than regarding matches / dates. I suggest the IJL management team focuses less on reviews and more on providing a quality service.

I have been on two dates. Both ladies have been very sweet, kind and intelligent. They were not quite what I was looking for but the time spent with them was a pleasure. Jaiye has been thoughtful and considerate of my preferences and I look forward to my next dates.
A bit more contact after dates would be super helpful.

Bryanna listens to me without judgement and when I tell her about my questions, concerns, nerves and/or excitement, she talks me through it and we always end the conversation laughing. She makes me feel like everything I'm going through is normal. The best thing is- she seems genuinely excited to be helping me find a match. I can hear it in her voice. :)

I felt lied to and Swindled. I was promised 2 dates a month and barely got matches to even get 2 dates a month. When I bought this up they said they would listen to the initial call since they want quality over quantity in which I replied with well you should probably change your pitch then. They were more concerned with getting my business instead of delivering quality matches. My first specialist wasn’t the greatest and I went days without a response from her. I then was given a new specialist who was better with response times. They were not up front about the pool of men that I was looking for in my city. If you don’t have what I’m looking for then be honest about that. I’m in sales myself so I despise a sales person that lies and is dishonest. Lastly, just because looks aren’t everything doesn’t mean looks aren’t something. Scale of 1-10 of my selection averaged 2. I would never recommend this service to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

It took over a month to get a first date which was a little frustrating. I’m trying to be patient with the process but I’m a little skeptical.

Ladies - beware! The number of men they have is actually quite small, though you will be lead to believe otherwise. They tried to match you with guys outside of your criteria and then count it against you when you won't accept the date.
Definitely not worth the money and is absolutely deceptive.

This is a scam. Matchmakers are incompetent. Communication is terrible. They do not have people in their database. They will string you along if you are proactive and you still won't get what you paid for. Do anything except use them.

I've been a member for a year and have had 3 dates. I'm signed up for a 24 date/24 month membership because I was lied to and told that there were no other options although another member I was matched with told me about her 12 date/12 month membership. When I called to complain, I was told that they only have to provide me service for up to 36 months, regardless of how many dates I get. So, at this pace, I'll reach 36 months with 9 total dates. I paid about 5k for this membership. When asked if I can simply switch my membership to a 12 date membership and refund half my money, I was told that's not possible. This company is not straight-forward about their "product" or the terms of their agreements. They do not come through on their promises and when you call them out on it, you just get told to be patient. Do not use this service.

RUN the other direction! This is a SCAM! They pray on people that want to find their person and love. I am in the middle of a law suit with them now as they LIE, LIE, LIE! They read off a script and tell you they have your perfect person, in fact several they can think of during your conversation. They promise the world and deliver the biggest most unattractive LOSERS. Why do you think they show you pictures? I got taken for $6100. I asked for my money back 3 days after I signed up and paid and then asked another 4 times and they refused. All they want is your money and they convince you to go on the dates weather they fit your criteria or not. In fact, none of the 5 losers I went out with fit any of my criteria. The contract is deceiving because they will say they vet for all the things you want and have over "100 men just in Denver" that match you and I even sent pictures of my physical type. JUST RUN! They are in multiple class action lawsuits, and other lawsuits like mine. I even know others they cheated ans scammed who sued them. I actually wanted to give them 0 stars!

This service is a complete ripoff. I was hard sold into paying $3500 FOR A ONE YEAR'S WORTH OF DATES. I have had ZERO dates in the 6 weeks since I signed up. NO ONE will return my calls. It is a complete rip off.

Do not buy this service. You will not get your money back. They will not provide you with any dates. They will attempt to run out the contract without providing you any service. They will make you drive out to “dates” but the person they are attempting to match you with does not exist. They will attempt to make the duration between your dates as long as possible so that they do not provide you with anything knowing that the contract will run out. They have no one of value in the service and are just trying to run the clock out on you. If you think they are offering you anything, they are not. It is 100% a scam. They will take your money and you will get nothing from it.

The class action lawsuit will be your experience. Do not buy the service you will be ripped off.

Update on 9/19. To add insult to injury after now almost half a year of terrible service they have the gall to pitch their “delux” service to try and milk more money. Don’t let your money go to this company RUN AWAY!

Eyrina has been very patient and detail oriented. She takes the time to listen and give advice when solicited. She is kind hearted and smart. She is helping me in this journey and I trust her judgment. I feel like I can tell her all my thoughts freely and that her feedback will be direct and honest.

In response to IJL's comment to my review: Yes, I am client. I have been in contact with your customer service team at phone number: 954-990-2033. Originally, I was assigned Bryanna as my matchmaker and I requested that I be reassigned. I was just assigned to someone by the name of Eyrina at 954-990-2512. I have sent corporate customer service two detailed email messages outlining my issues shortly after signing on with your company and then again on July 20, 2024.

I joined It's Just Lunch (IJL) in August 2023. The agreement was that IJL would provide me with six viable dating candidates. My assigned matchmaker's name is Bryanna. I have gone on 5 of the 6 dates at this point and the majority have all been subpar and very disappointing. The candidates' photos did not represent them, and their background profiles, as provided by Bryanna, did not match their real-life situation. Only 1 of the 5 dates looked like his photo and his profile matched the description provided by my matchmaker. Additionally, I have no choice in the candidate selection process--basically, if I do not accept the date, it counts toward one of my six dates. I've been asked repeatedly to date outside of my ethnic preference, which made me feel pressured. I have submitted a written complaint to the IJL customer service team, and they have not responded. I completely regret investing in this company, and it has been a real disappointment from the get-go. I have had greater success finding suitable, interesting dates via the online dating sites on my own. I do not recommend this company, my impression is that they prey upon vulnerable people and make you believe they will work for you, but they do not.

Great life coach that knows me and sets up my dates. EYRINA is a professional dating expert and her experience is evident. My first date was a great person and our personalities matched and we have already become friends and scheduled a second date. It is early in my journey but I am confident I J L will b a great life experience for me
