Do NOT use!

I had a trial with this site back in November 2024 and subsequently cancelled the trial which I have proof of them acknowledging and stating their would be no money taken. Today - 4 months later! - I have had almost £50 taken from my bank account. Not only have they done this after me removing my subscription, this means they keep peoples bank account information on their records illegally.

Deceptive Charges and Scammy Practices – Beware!

As a business owner who designs websites, I can assure you this app is incredibly deceptive.

After paying just £0.50 for my IQ Test Certificate, I was hit with an unexpected charge of £48.90 the very next day. This kind of behavior is completely unprofessional and scammy.

I will be reporting this app to the appropriate authorities for fraudulent practices.

Scam avoid at all costs

I paid €0.50 for 24 hour access to this site. Unbeknown to me I've been subscribed automatically paying over £150 for services I didn't agree to. I'm going to sue the company for breach of;

Stealing my money

If i could give a 0 star review I would! Paid for one IQ test! And I cancelled any subscriptions. Yet money is still coming out of my account. I will have to block this through my bank. Absolutely disgusting. Fraudulent scam!

SCAM COMPANY, GOOD REVIEWS ARE FAKE

I did an IQ test in october 2024 and paid a few pennies to entertain the kids i worked with. I emailed the company i'mimmediately and cancelled the subscription before they charged me £50 like i'd seen in other reviews. It was an unnecessarily long process to cancel the trial, but they did it immediately and i had no issues.
Never used the website again and never give it a second thought.
Fast forward 6 months later (today), i get an notification from my bank app asking me to confirm a payment. I don't recognise it at all, but it said "hpy iqbrain" and was for £41.03. I was confused as nobody in my life has my card details and i hadn't tried to make the payment. I look back at my transaction history and it's the same name that i paid the few pennies to for the free trial back in october 2024. They kept my details, guaranteed me that they'd cancelled the subscription then tried to make a payment 6 months later. Thank God my bank blocked the payment. Would not advise putting your card details into this site at all, it's not secure and they keep them stored without permission and it feels like anyone could access them. My card has now been cancelled and i came to write this review straight away so others don't make the stupid mistake of entering any details on the site- ironically if you choose to still give them any card details/payment after reading this and all the other negative reviews i don't think you need an IQ test, i could tell you for free it's not very high!

Be careful!

22nd march Purchased the trial period. How ever it wasn't mentioned how long the trial is on the site or on my invoice. I paid for the trial and received my certificate. I went over to my profile and there was no where to cancel.

23rd march I have been charged for the month and magically the cancel subscription has appeared on my profile, which they are saying could be a technical issue 🤔

Update after receiving a response I called the number and explained the situation and have an email confirmation of my refund. I have changed my review to 3 stars. I would say be careful and proceed with caution.

Doesn't take a high IQ to work out what a scam this is.

I paid for the test then immediately cancelled the subscription (all within the 24 hour period) 6 months later a month's payment left my account from iqmind and another one from iqbrain (which seems to be a linked company)

Contacted iqmind to which they said it's within the small print, when I explained taking 2 payments from different companies 6 months later after I cancelled my subscription wasn't in the small print, it just led to a series of pointless emails.

So I advised my bank about this, and reported it as fraud as in my eyes, its theft. The money is now back in my account.

Don't waste your money on these scammers, read the reviews people

****Just a note on the reply to my view, you're saying about the trial period etc, but now you've ended up refunding me, so again you've contradicted yourself. And the other company that took the money, the website is exactly the same as yours which led me to think its a sister company. I'm gunning back for that money aswell, both transactions have been taken up with the bank and reported as fraud.

How you can say the money was taking out correctly, then refund me is madness.

Please be careful if you go on that side a do a iq-test. They only charging you 0.50€. BUT... The day after they took 48.9€ from my account. Not possible to be reimbursed. I only subscribed and they will charge you for it. Read the site very carefully. It's not te be trusted. If you have to pay for the results then it's not a trail version. So I was from the idea that it was done. But the day after you took my money, i tried to call and text you several times on WhatsApp. No answer at all. The I had to make a long-distance call to get a very arrogant guy on the phone. And even that i explained it in a respectable manner he just told that noting could be done to reimburse my money. A trail version must be free. For me you are scamming people.

Scam

Absolute scam, you do the IQ test, then they charge 0.50 gbp to get your answer through email, then charge you £48.90 as a subscription fee that you have no control over accepting / declining, you just get charged for it. Company just steals from people and you do not notice it until you check your bank transactions.

Glad I avoided paying (Misleading and Misrepresenting)

UPDATE: IQ MIND HAVE TRIED TO STATE THAT TERMS ARE DISCLOSED PRIOR TO PAYMENT WHICH IS AN ABJECT LIE. AGAIN FORTUANTELU I WAS NOT CAUGHT OUT BY THEIR SNEAKY TACTICS BUT MANY HAVE BEEN. SHAMEFUL.

Glad I avoided paying. I read the reviews on here and as a company you declare it is clear that the subscription is optional but that is a lie. When you complete the test and go to the payment window, it only displays the £0.50 charge. ONLY when you go through the pricing sub-section menu is it apparent that this forms part of a 24 hour trial followed by a monthly subscription.

I would urge everyone on here who has suffered to report to trading standards and to take photo evidence of the payment area when completing the test before payment to show that there is no mention of the subscription as I have done.

They charged money without subscribing…

They changed me without subscribing even though I've recorded my test process and proved to them that there was no option for subscribing, and I just checked 0.50 cents. I wish I could share the video here, but unfortunately, no option for uploading here!!!
However, they didn't answer me clearly. It is an absolute scam site. I'm wondering that there is no way to report and pull down sites and companies like this.

Payment taken 6 months after cancellation of subscription

I signed up back in September 2024, and on the same day of signing up, I cancelled my account during the free trial period as I didn't wish to continue with a subscription,l and I received a message to say my account had been cancelled. No issues.
Over 6 months later on 11/03/2025, this company have taken a payment of £42.39 from my bank account, and are saying that this is a delayed monthly subscription charge that should have been taken after the trial period ended.
I have explained to them that I cancelled on the same day during the free trial period and did not continue with the subscription, they sent me confirmation of cancellation at that time, and I have not paid a monthly subscription charge in the 6 months since I cancelled, and they should not have taken this payment.
I keep getting responses form the customer service team saying its in the terms and conditions that a monthly charge is taken after the end of the trial period, and the delay in taking payment has been due to multiple attempts at taking this payment have been declined and there appears to have been insufficient funds in the account.
There have never been insufficient funds in the account, and I have had no notifications from this company or my bank to advise that a payment attempt has been made, or failed payment for this service.
I have explained multiple times to the customer service team via email that the subscription was cancelled the same day, and before the end of the trial period, and they still will not confirm that payment will be refunded.

Some fraudulent activity going on

Took the test out of interest, knew about the automatic sub, cancelled it with them, got email confirmation. Months later out of the blue they start charging me £40 a month. Sounds like fraud to me.

Überall wird Kostenlos ausgeschrieben oder keine Kosten angegeben. Sobald man ca. 10 - 20 Minuten seiner Kostbaren Zeit investiert hat wird nach der email gefragt für das "Ergebnis". Sobald die Email angegeben wird kommt gleich das Zahlungsfester für die Kreditkartennummer.

So ein Betrug! Habe mit dem Support Geschrieben laut denen soll dies wohl eine veraltete Website Beschreibung gewesen sein er würde es umgehend ändern. 10 Minuten Später wurde es geändert, weitere 20 Minuten später wieder zu kostenlos umgeändert! Das ist einer der dreckigsten Abo Fallen die es gibt!
