Absolutely ridiculous

Absolutely ridiculous! Send returns back 18th August they received 20th August and still nothing. The customer service is now giving me the run around. I sent tracking in first email then they asked for confirmation on what I’d sent back and order number, sent that heard nothing back. Sent another email asking for someone to reply and got can you send tracking and confirmation on what you returned which I have already done!! Thankfully I paid with a credit card so should get my money back but a warning to everyone! Don’t use!!!

BE WARNED. NO REFUNDS AND POOR QUALITY

If I could give no stars I would. They are still selling clothes yet not giving refunds to people who return their poor quality clothing. Had numerous emails since June with promises of a refund but it always fails. Then I was added to a list to be looked at. BE WARNED DON’T PURCHASE FROM THEM.

What ever you do, DO NOT order from this company.

The fact that the clothes are cheap, poor quality and stink of chemicals the main reason is that they do not refund once you have returned the items.

The return process is impossible, the site returns portal doesn't work. I had to get in touch with paypal who finally got through to them to sent me the correct email details to actually make the return.

Then once they received my items they never refund the money. With countless emails back and forth they still haven't refunded me!

They received my items in JUNE!

Order number sequence not recognised.
It was not compatible with generating the returns label. After several customer service email exchanges, I was sent a link to generate the return label, This was seamless and the additional prompts in the email were useful,
Thank you Ariana.
Now I have to wait for the refund, but assume this will happen in a reasonable time frame.

Chemical smell and poor customer service

I never ever like to leave bad reviews however I have recently had a terrible experience with this company, I purchased two pairs of the miracle jeans, one in blue and one in black, they were lovely except the black jeans had a very very over powering chemical smell, I’ve had this before with black jeans and it usually washes out, so I have constantly washed the jeans and tried to soak them etc etc expecting that it would wash out but I honestly think the smell is getting worse, it makes me feel sick it’s so strong . I contacted customer services to inform them and ask if there is anything I can do to remove the smell, they offered me 20% refund, I then excepted that, I was told the refund was issued and then a week or so later I hadn’t received any money, I contacted them again and was told they won’t be issuing a refund as too much time had passed since purchase, so I had been told I would receive a refund by two different members of staff, then told the refund had in fact been issued and to expect it within 3-5 days (which must have been a complete lie?) and then they changed their mind? It’s just been handled so badly when I purchased a product that will have to be thrown in the bin!

Will not change account email address after fraud

After being a victim of SIM swap fraud, I lost control of not only my phone number but access to my email account.

In the style will not change the email address to my account which is utterly pathetic they're up themselves that much. If I can change it with a bank and proper real organisations where there is credit involved, why on earth will ITS not change it? Pathethic excuse of a company to that think they're that important.

Returned an item 4 weeks ago

IN THE STYLE ....I ordered an item from your company via Debenhams . Four weeks ago I sent you my return however no refund and klarna still want instalments . What a sham of a company . If you pay by credit card . You can get your money back on section 75 . This company collaborates with klarna and clear pay to make it an affordable way for customers to get items however , Debenhams are using this to deceive potential customers.
The illegal returns policies they stand by of taking up 4 weeks to refund is against the law . Maximum 14days .
The company is taking advantage of the vulnerable by offering installments .
I have two items I have returned . Unfortunately Royal Mail made an error with the tracking numbers . never the less both items were returned and I have proof of the returns . Only for integrity to be questioned by one of their customer service agents .
Not only was this lady belligerent but also stated her company would not be refunding for the items I returned Due to a postal error . Thank you Danielle .
What kind of company employs staff to abuse the consumers and refused them their refund . To me this is legalised mugging .
They then allow klarna and clear pay to take this money .
It use to be a great company but now are just scamming their customers .
This company deserves no stars 🌟I know this might not be an option for some but it gets results - Sue ...Debenhams through the small claims even if it's a very small amount . It will cost you £70 to apply online however you add this amount to the money your are claiming for and Debenhams will not only have to refund your original sum your claiming for but will have to pay you the £70 application fees .
Also , if you've paid them by credit card . Section 75 of the act covers you for false advertising and what they advertise is fake so the credit card will chase them after reimbursing you .
In addition to this . Do not return if you've paid by credit card just state to them " The Goods are ready for you collect " it is then Debs who have to arrange collection under the credit card section 75 if the don't . You - have even more leverage to claim money back .

Utterly disgusting and embarrassing how…

Utterly disgusting and embarrassing how ITS treat their customers. After my partner writing a review about our TERRIBLE experience, he was replied to and asked to send an email to resolve the issue. SHOCK HORROR, no reply to the email. The replies on trust pilot are just for show, don’t expect your issue to be resolved.

This company have had hundreds of pounds off us and now they have both the items and the money as they have failed to refund for the return. I have asked for the items to either be returned or my money back and have had neither.

ITS - you should be ashamed of yourself and from doing my own research I have become aware that I am not the only person who has experienced this with them. Taking peoples hard earned money and then failing to even communicate with them. Nothing but a gang of glorified thief's.

NO REFUND!

I returned items to In the Style on 4th June and have yet to receive my £60 refund. Despite sending multiple emails to customer service, I was told to contact the complaints team who would respond within 72 hours – weeks later, I am still waiting for even an acknowledgement. Extremely poor service. If this is not resolved by the end of the month, I will be forced to take further action.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I placed an order in May and subsequently returned the whole order due to sizing and quality issues.
I received email from the company in June that acknowledged receipt of the returns and that my refund would be with me within 5 working days. The refund didn't arrive and I have been in email correspondence with customer services ever since. I still haven't received the refund. Each email customer service sends just fobs me off.
It seems that a lot of people are in the same position..

My £158 order has never arrived

My £158 order has never arrived, no refund no communication. In my personal opinion I think this company could be going under or struggling in some way that they are not informing their customers about as I have seen online a lot of other customers with the same issue as mine. I ordered a £158 order at the beginning of July 2025. I never received a confirmation email, and my order never came. I have emailed multiple times, even had a back and forth chat over email and sent screen shots etc. for them to ignore me. Weeks have gone by now, I have no order received, no money refunded and no further communication from them. £158 is a lot of money to ignore and I’m extremely upset. Hoping a review on here may get someone’s attention on In The Style to eventually reply to me, but I’m not holding my breath. I personally would not recommend ordering from here as it is risky. This has happened to me before and luckily was sorted but this time seems they are not coping well and ignoring it but still taking orders and money from customers.

Zero customer service!

I purchased a number of dresses for my bridesmaids for my wedding. Upon inspection of the dresses it was apparent that some of the dresses were made from different materials to the others. I spoke with Inthestyle via Instagram who assured me I could return the dresses and they would issues a refund. This was following them admitting that dresses in the same style, but different sizes are made by different suppliers hence they were happy to refund due to the differences across sizes. I returned the dresses and purchased alternatives from them in the meantime….the refund did not come.

I have chased them several times and have been advised by them to do a chargeback with my bank, which they won’t issue as it was over 180 days old since I’ve been back and forth with Inthestyle for so long.

I’m disgusted that I’ve paid for items, been advised by the company that they will issue a refund, returned the items and have not received a refund. Zero items, zero money returned, zero customer service and care for their customers. Avoid this company at all costs!

If I could give 0 stars I would.
For a start I struggled to start a return, I kept getting booted off of the returns page. I eventually got through to customer services and got a return started. Sent the parcel away and got an email to say they recieved it. After emailing to say i was still waiting for my money I got a email to say it had been processed and I should have the refund in 3-5 days. Nearly 2 months on and I’m still waiting for a refund of over £100. Constantly emailing, trying to find out what’s going on to be told the same thing over and over again, they will refund manually.
Avoid ordering from this scam of a company!

I bought from In the style I sent my parcel back this was a bridesmaid dress but was to big so I sent it back on the 5th June with the hope that I could get a refund and order a smaller size 5th of July I had an email saying we have received your return and you will be refunded in 5 working days still no refund I have emailed and had an excuse of our system is down so having to do it manually but you are on the list still no refund and now my emails are being ignored. I do not recommend ordering from them

I placed two separate orders for some denim shorts, both in different sizes. After emailing and sending messages on Instagram for weeks they eventually refunded me for one of them, which shows they are capable of responding. The second pair I had issues generating a label, as the portal wouldn’t work, then they randomly sent me a QR code to use to return it. I had proof of postage that it had returned to them, I sent multiple messages on Instagram and emailed for a refund, and it’s now 90 days later and they still haven’t refunded me. Would not recommend them to anybody in a million years.

Almost 2 months and still no refund

I purchased from In the style back in May, when I tried to return my items the returns portal was down. I contacted customer services and was eventually sent a returns QR code. I returned the items and had confirmation that this had been received by ITS on the 4th July. I’ve chased countless times since then and keep being told my refund has been issued and should be with me. I’ve now emailed a further two times asking to have this escalated as no refund has been received and now my emails aren’t being answered. I’m left with no items and no money back.
