I ordered bedroom furniture in June 2022, it was showing as in stock at that time and del expected in July, a couple of weeks later I enquired about delivery, twice, eventually got answer saying out of stock, del would be middle of August, then again del end of September, at this point I cancelled order. Now I am having to fight to get money back. Be warned.

If you value your sanity do not purchase from this company. They are dishonest about everything and simply waste your time. They promise items they don't have, delivery dates they have no intention of meeting, delivery men who can't carry goods and come at un notified times. They also deliver the wrong items and then don't arrange collection. When they do they fail to turn up. They didn't deliver what the promised. They don't answer phones but reply to emails straight away. If you want to buy something go to a company with some care and thought for those who spend money with them.

I am writing this review in the hope that the team at Imaginex will help resolve my problem. I ordered a king size bed (nearly £1000) and received the wrong model, delivered on 7th August 2022. I immediately contacted Imaginex to advise of the issue and was advised that the courier would be in contact to arrange collection. I have not had any contact from the courier and despite my (almost daily) emails to Imaginex, I receive intermittent responses stating that they are waiting for the courier to confirm arrangements. I have tried calling countless times and have not been able to speak to anybody. Please Imaginex, help me get this sorted as I need my money!
Update 29th September: I am still waiting for Imaginex to collect the bed and issue my refund. This continues to be a highly stressful issue to deal with, whilst I continue to be out of pocket to the tune of £936.
Update 21st October: Still waiting for Imaginex to collect the bed and issue me a refund. They fraudulently claimed that the courier had contacted me (no contact whatsoever) and have since gone silent again. No option left but to instigate legal proceedings. Appalling, avoid at all costs.

Might be a scam. I paid them £600 for a bed and three weeks later got a shady excuse about a broken pallet during delivery, with a one month delay. Coming up to seven weeks since ordering and they won’t answer my (polite, as always) emails. Saw many reviews like mine but thought surely can’t be that bad, and the cheap deals were too tempting. Lesson learnt :(

Regarding their response, none of this is true, and I've seen similar responses posted to other negative reviews.

The item was not a preorder, it was in stock according to the site with delivery in 7-14 days, and looking now it says the same on their site.

I first contacted them after seven days of ordering requesting an eta, as it was a birthday present for my son. I was told the 7-14 days meant working days, and the item will arrive in that time frame.

After that date passed I chased it up and waited for 11 days with no response from, after which I asked again and received a message regarding delays due to "broken pallets".

The delay was one month, a month passed with no response to my messages and so I came to trusty TrustPilot to warn others!

At no point was I offered a refund, until a refund was forced upon me after posting my review. Did they ever intend to fulfil this order?

Regarding their updated response - I did not at any point receive a phone call from them with further details, and I was not at any point offered a discount. I’m questioning whether they have my case mixed up with another poor soul who has fallen into the imaginex abyss..

Regarding yet another falsehood strewn update to their response, they’re yet again wrong - I ordered exactly the same product from a competitor after Imaginex’s tragic failure to deliver, and the competitor got a five star review because they managed to deliver the same order in one week. Further, I’ll be reporting the two directors of this company (IN-EX HOMECARE LTD) to Action Fraud.

Ordered the Chelsea table and 4 chairs, terrific quality and easy to assemble.
Delivery was also.

Held our money for weeks, gave rubbish excuses and bottled it when I confronted them. What a pathetic company

Disgraceful DONT ever buy from this company.Can’t rate it minus Else I would.Order placed was told it was in hands of courier for delivery then told there was a system failure so delayed .Cancelled order and was told in email 3-5days to get refund .Chased refund several times and was then told 3-8 days now 10 days later no refund apparently they have passed it over to another department to follow up .Very Difficult to get hold of via messenger you get automated reply emails answered unprofessional with no name that sent email if you get a response back and they don’t take you call if you don’t block your number .

Although I waited a long time for it to arrive (understandable after covid it’s been tough for many companies) I’m super happy with my furniture. I tried to buy it from Fenwicks in London but they wouldn’t deliver to my address. Not only did Imaginex deliver they also also matched their sale price.

I bought a table and 8 chairs in December 2021. It was delivered on 24th December 2021. Straight away we saw that two chairs did not fit right as the holes did not match where the screws were to do. I informed the company immediately and asked for the chairs to be changed. It’s now 24th June 2022 and after many fake empty promises I am still two chairs short as they still have not replaced them. It’s taken me 6 months to finally give them a negative review. I would never buy of these again and not will my relatives and friends. Got table and chairs delivered yesterday when I unpacked it there was two chairs missing the back off them I had four seat units instead of two seat units and two backs I have emailed and phoned after reporting this matter to the company I received my missing items within 48 hours I would highly recommend this place

Ordered dining chairs in October 2021. Was promised delivery in November, which did not happen. Then they guaranteed delivery by Christmas- also did not happen. January and February delivery dates also failed to materialise. Chairs were finally delivered last week and are the wrong colour- not even close to the colour I ordered. Now awaiting instructions on how to send them back. 9 times out of ten they don’t answer the phone, Jay the manager never ever returns calls and rarely returns emails. Most shockingly inept and unhelpful company I have ever had to deal with. I would recommend avoiding this company at all costs. Update: Chairs were due to be collected today. Courier company was a no show. After six unanswered calls I finally got to speak with someone at ImagineX who informed me that Jay, the manager, had cancelled the collection, “due to the review you left on Trustpilot” Just when I thought they couldn’t get any worse. Avoid!

I ordered a cabinet and coffee side table. Communicate was excellent! I received the products when estimate. Fantastic customer service. I would highly recommend.

Although there were some issue in relation to delivery of product and assembly however communication from the company is impeccable.

Gorgeous products! I ordered 4 bar stools, 6 dining chairs and a dining table. Right from day 1 I was pleased with the customer service I received from Jay. I was worried that with ordering multiple types of chairs that the fabrics wouldn’t be exactly the same but I was assured they would be made from the same dark blue fabric and I was very pleased with the outcome. All my chairs are exactly the same colour and they look amazing. The dining table top was incredibly heavy which only goes to show the high quality of the product. Once it was in position it fits in with our house decor perfectly and couldn’t be happier with everything together.

Ordered A marble table and 6 lion knockers, there has been a small delay but the quality of the set is amazing. Ups and downs with the couriers, but ImagineX did reassure me in a timely manner. And indeed all arrived in good condition. One of the chairs was defect but managed to resolve it with sales team. Well worth the wait and happy with my order.

Great service, excellent product, good value for an exceptional dining room set. Just a note for anyone buying chairs like the Louis set I purchased, the legs are contained in the the zip piece under the chair! When I raised the issue I had an immediate response despite it being in the evening. Very happy customer and will purchase again from ImagineX.
