I ordered a table which is very nice and good quality, however the table arrived and had slight damage, I agreed that I would keep the table based on Esme Furnishings refund a percentage, which they promised and documented in writing. The refund has never been issue and all communication is now been ignored!! This is very poor and deceitful customer service.

Absolutely scam of a company should have realised when chasing delivery and the one or two worded response I got back! Now having to claim back through my bank as this company is now not replying to any emails! Be warned do not purchase anything from them they are scammers!!!

I placed an order Easter weekend. I was advised they had implemented a new system that crashed and cancelled all orders and my order was to be refunded. I received further emails saying there was a large volumes delaying refunds. 2 weeks later I have had to process claim through bank for refund

Having looked at the reviews - I should have known better than to order from here. As there were mixed reviews I gave Esme Furnishings the benefit of the doubt. I placed my order on 20th February for a sofa, which indicated delivery within 7-14 working days. I had not heard anything and emailed on 5th March to chase the delivery date. I was responded to quite quickly to advise they would check with the courier. I chased again on 11th March, and same response. 25th March I sent another email (bearing in mind I tried to call on a number of different occasions and had no answer) I was told a slot had been booked for 28th March PM - nothing arrived. Chased again on 29th March, was told 4th April. Nothing arrived. Requested a refund on 7th April and was told 7-10 working days - as of now still no refund and going through the bank to get my money back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - WASTE OF TIME AND DISAPPOINTED.

Purchased 1x dining table and 4x chairs from this company, which never arrived.

I have been given at least 3 dates of when the chairs will be delivered, with a host of excuses from couriers not replying to awaiting stock.

The company has now turned their business landline off, do not respond to emails and selectively reply only via whatsapp, but cannot give any legible details of the order.

Before purchasing, I checked this site and their rating was fair, since then they have nosedived with lots of negative reviews.

I would sincerely shop elsewhere, purchasing from this outfit is not worth the constant chasing and inevitably claiming your money back via bank/credit card.

I had a very disappointing experience with this company and would strongly advise others to be cautious.

I ordered a dining room table and four chairs online, including assembly. After completing the purchase, I heard nothing, so I had to chase them for an update. I was told delivery would take a couple of weeks, and when I questioned the delay, their response was short and quite rude, insisting it was within their timeframe.

Unfortunately, the delivery never arrived, and they eventually stopped responding altogether. Strangely, one chair turned up on its own, with no explanation. After this, I checked their reviews and realised others had experienced similar issues—something I wish I had done beforehand.

I ended up contacting my card provider, who thankfully issued a refund. I have also asked for the matter to be reported, as companies operating like this should not be allowed to continue.

Since then, I’ve ordered from a different company and had a completely positive experience. Based on what I went through, I would strongly recommend staying away from this company.

I appreciated the regular delivery updates, which kept me well informed throughout. The product itself is good and works as expected. Overall, a positive experience with just a little room for improvement.

I ordered 6 Majestic Lion Knocker Quilted Tufted Plush Velvet Dining Chair Chrome Legs on the 2nd Feb and I received one chair on the 26th March after a lot of chasing up. However, now my delivery has been marked as delivered so they haven’t sent me the other 5 that is missing. This is completely unacceptable they haven’t answered any emails or texts on WhatsApp or any calls. Never buy from this place !

DO NOT BUY from this company! They are scammers! I ordered over £1000s worth of furniture from them back in March and like all of the other recent reviews it has not been delivered! I’ve been told for weeks it’s been delayed, it will come next week etc and it’s always a lie. I email them I watsapp them, I have asked for a full refund. I WISH I had read the reviews first because if I had I never would have ordered. They seem to lie on here and try to get the reviews taken down, they are absolute con artists. Have informed trading standards, Facebook, my bank etc. please don’t make the same mistake and order from them.
Updated - they tried flagging this review to get it taken down, I have 100% proof of everything that I have said!

Ordered stuff then had to chase them multiple times to see where it was. Will be contacting my bank to invoke a chargeback if it doesn't appear soon. Wish I'd checked reviews of them before ordering.
Edit - They actually tried flagging this review as defamatory, but I had it reinstated by Trust Pilot.

Very poor customer service! I ordered a 3 door sideboard back in December, my order was not in stock then they kept changing delivery dates. Its now 4 months and I am still chasing for that order update. This company keeps making empty promises. Dunelms offer same product at discount now and their delivery is showing next week!! I only got a good christmas discount from Esme furniture hence I waited this long patiently but now will be asking for my refund after they messed me around. I will never be using them again, overpriced and under serviced!

I was kept informed throughout the process, which made things straightforward. The delivery drivers were courteous, respectful, and helpful when needed.

Overall, a good experience with just a little room for improvement.

Can someone please help I’ve purchased over £2000 furniture from this company back in January was told the furniture had been dropped by couriers and was reordering which has well past delivery date. They are now failing to respond to my emails WhatsApp message or calls what do I do? Not reputable at all

Waited 3 months for a table, had to keep chasing and was told on several occasions 'next week'.
I ended up cancelling the order and they said they would issue a refund - 3 weeks later, still waiting!

Wish there was a zero star option and read these reviews - my order hasn't been delivered the company won't respond to my request for a refund. Have had to contact my bank. Would not advise you to order from this company
