Return processing is pathetic. On a busy Saturday not enough staff to process returns. And the 3 people working are living like snails and chatting. Just awful.

IKEA is one of the most fun places to go furniture shopping. the setup is basically set up like a pathway that you follow which shows all of their put together displays. Plus, they have amazing food and a lounge area where you can eat! I usually order the dweish meatballs.
Unhelpful chat, unable to place order using valid coupon
I have been trying to complete my order for click and collect to use my $20 coupon for over a week. I chatted in and spoke with Sherry. Her solution to me not being able to submit my order was try on a laptop or pc. I've tried on two phones, a tablet and now a laptop. Of course she tried telling me that I'm using an expired coupon (valid until Wednesday October 6th) AND YET HERE I AM STILL UNABLE TO PLACE MY ORDER SO I CAN USE MY COUPON. If this is what a friends and family discount is intended to make you feel like you are being treated you like an aggravating family member, YOU'VE SUCCEEDED IKEA CANADA!!
Unfortunately can not give zero star otherwise I would have. One star is over rating my experience.

Impossible de se faire livrer des meubles pourtant disponibles. En temps de pandémie !!! Je ne refuse pas de payer la livraison. Encore faut-il qu’ils acceptent de livrer. Sur le site c’est possible mais pas quand on commande des grosses pièces. C’est incompréhensible et la seule marque qui ne livre pas sur Montreal ses environs. Passez votre chemin pour éviter perte de temps sur le site .
Extremely poor customer service! Avoid Ikea!
I ordered a duvet cover from Ikea and when it came it had two visible sewing defects on it. I tried to contact Ikea thru their Twitter support handle, however after two days and no reply I tweeted out (snarky) to the regular Ikea Twitter account. That got a response right away from the support channel on Twitter. I had already in my previous tweet to them provided a clear close up picture of the defects. Support asked me to DM them on twitter with the order #, which I did. With the order # Ikea knows EXACTLY WHAT I ORDERED. Yet they come back to me wanting to provide more details????????? I hate repeating myself to people who really aren't paying attention! 1. They have the order number. 2. The order number gives exactly what was ordered/ shipped. 3. I only ordered one duvet cover so there was no question to as which one it was. 4. I provided close up pictures of the defect. AND they want me to do it all over again????
To summarize:

Not going to give Ikea another single dollar!

Ikea is a fine place to purchase inexpensive furniture items that you can't find anywhere else. Price have a wide range so you have a choice on the amount you spend. I don't like the setup of the stores as they trap you in a maze, kinda like in the Blair Witch Project movie. Good furniture at equally good prices.

worst service, delivery company, there is NO SERVICE as they don't answer phone or emails... it's like trying to reach a lost town in a foreign country. Impossible. Never replied to my email. took months before I got my delivery. Complained about the delivery company never got a follow-up... they don't seem to bother for customer's service why should I bother to be a client anymore.
IKEA Canada Fast Delivery
Placed an online order at IKEA Canada for a bed frame on Thursday November 26th 2020. It was being delivered by parcel service, assume because it wasn’t too heavy. It was delivered Monday November 30th. Fast delivery considering the current pandemic and shutdowns in various Ontario cities. Well packaged and exactly as described.

Most of their products are not high quality but for the price and variety, it's hard to beat. Most of my furniture is from IKEA even if I could afford way more expensive stuff. It does the job and looks good. It's just a bit frustrating to assemble and it can break relatively easily if you are not careful.
Awful, ugly place with rude staff and unsustainable practices
Ugly, tacky, bland minimalist furniture as far as the eye can see, a terrible shopping environment with careless staff who won't even give you the time of day, shipping costs more than the items themselves do, and they can drop the pretentious Swedish motif they've got going because we can all see the Made In China stamps on the boxes. This company also pushes itself as sustainable, but I've got century-old furniture built to last that I wouldn't trade for IKEA's disposable plastics and cheap, chemical-treated pressboard any day of the week. Why isn't Greta Thunberg nipping at IKEA's ankles by now?

This is a company that deserves to go bankrupt. If you are going to sell product in Canada, how about using imperial measurements? this isn't europe, how about catering to your client base. Your PAX Planner works on desk top only and is completely useless for making custom closets. Why is it difficult to put metric and imperial measurements in your program. It doesn't work on anything other than desktop? your a huge company!! make it more user friendly!! They say they plan it for you, but there is no way to get a hold of anyone in the company to purchase that service. They just don't care.
This company likes to sell product but have no interest in serving customers. Its an hour wait on the phone to talk to anyone. And a minimum hour wait to talk to anyone online. You will never see me spend a dollar in this store.

Normally i go into the store and buy but because of Covid 19 and the stores being closed at the time, i decided to order a simple thing online and pay delivery. It came damaged. To this day i am still spending countless hours with online chat and still have yet to get a resolution. Horrible experience ordering online and i will never do it again.
Bad delivery/online service
Bad delivery service with a lot of system glitches. Constant new delays from them. Will be at least 8weeks they said. I don’t know if I’m ever getting my furniture. And funny thing is they charge your card right away. It’s almost like gambling with these online shopping companies. Don’t know if I’m ever getting want I’m paid for. Thanks ikea. Amazing service.....

Too bad you don't have negative stars because the customer service here is terrible.
Of course they blame it on the pandemic but in reality they just have poor service.
Too many agents out front taking your money and not enough helping customers who have already purchased.
You can't get through on the phone...hours wait...The chat line is almost as bad as you have up to an hour wait....then on my last attempt they transferred me and I never heard from them again.
They sell some good items at a fair…
They sell some good items at a fair price. However most items are of the cheapest material possible. Furniture is of the worst quality with a few pinewood items being the exception. And the extreme over packaging..... They have NO customer service. If you call them, the call will drop. That's it, you cannot even get through. Their order tracking system is inaccurate, so no good either. If it weren't for the few pine wood items, I would give them just 1 star.
