This rug seems very nice but is NOT for homes with pets. Customer service confirmed this after I contacted them to see how to care for the rug that my dog easily destroyed. I wish that it were more clearly stated on the web page and I didn't have to learn after spending so much on a rug. My dog has never destroyed another rug. If you have pets, do NOT buy this rug.

Absolutely beautiful rugs, I couldn't be happier! We had carpeting removed and replaced with wood on our second floor. I needed to find a couple of rugs to add to the bedrooms that were simple and well made, these rugs totally fit the bill. I ordered five samples and they arrived the next day! It was a hard decision, they were all beautiful. The rugs provide some sound dampening and a little cushioning under foot. They roll out beautifully, no off gassing and I particularly love the natural fibers. I went with the Nottingham Wool Weave in our bedroom and the Crossweave Cream Eco Cotton in the guest room. I wanted the tight weave for our room because we own four rescue cats and they usually come into our room at night. I have not had any issues with them plucking that rug. Unfortunately, they did figure out that they could pluck the cotton one, so I'm having to keep the guest room closed off for now. I may have to replace that rug with another one like in the master bedroom. It's a shame because that rug is really cushy and soft. Either way, it would definitely be another rug from Hook and Loom. Fabulous rugs!

This is my third Hook & Loom rug and I love every one of them. The quality is high and the washability is a huge plus. The shipping time from ordering is a bit slow but it’s fine. I don’t mind waiting for an excellent product. Cotton rugs that are well made aren’t easy to find. This will likely not be my last order. Thank you for making good looking, great rugs!

I appreciate the quality of the rug and it's very good- looking. The pad that keeps the rug from slipping is a good thing for an elderly person, as is the fact that the rug is machine washable. I was impressed, too, by the very careful packaging. Lastly, the price for rug plus pad can't be beat. I'm a very satisfied customer.

I order 2 small (2' x 3') cotton rugs for my bathroom. They are exactly what I wanted. I ordered a swatch ahead of time at minimal cost, so I knew they were the right color and thickness before ordering. The free shipping was fast, and received the rugs in record time, just in time for an event I was hosting. The customer service folks were prompt, receptive, and gracious. The rugs are great. I haven't washed them yet, but they look good, feel good, and dry out quickly. I'm glad they are made from recycled fabric, and apparently under ethical conditions as well. The price was comparable (or lower) than other sellers for less satisfactory products. The company is based in western Massachusetts, which I consider a plus.

The samples I ordered came very quickly, allowing me to feel confident in my color choice. Once ordered, the rug also came quickly. I was looking for an eco friendly, non-toxic washable rug that I can feel safe laying on. I have dust mite allergies so being able to wash it was crucial. I ordered a 5x8 and it fits in my home washer. I ordered their natural rubber liner mat as well. I am very happy with my purchase. In a world pull of plastic, they provide a healthier alternative and I’m all for that. I would recommend it to others and definitely purchase again.

I'm a repeat customer of Hook & Loom. I like the selection of flat and loom weaved rugs. I often sit on the rugs with my grandchildren and cats and really like that the rugs are free of chemicals and synthetic materials and that they are easy to clean. I also like that they are ethically produced.
