Home Serve took over IGS Home Warranty- Rip-off

I have paid into IGS Home Warranty service for a decade. Locked in monthly rate. IGS sold out to Home Serve. My water heater is 22 years old and corroded and leaking from the base. I contacted Home Serve and they made it clear that they do not offer any replacement at all, not even a credit toward replacement. They only want to pay for a repair which isnt possible. So im in the lurch on this. My IGS warranty did indeed guarantee if a repair isnt possible, then replacement costs, and I have it in writing. When you call Home Serve you will only get someone overseas who speaks English as a second language. Even requesting a manager didn't change that. What a rip-off. Do not ever sign up for Home Serve, your throwing hundreds of dollars out the window, in my case Ive collectively spent 6K over the decade Ive had this account and nothing to show for it.
