Everything I've bought from them has been as described and good quality, such a great business, lets me live out my fantasy clothing life.

I have bought several Holy Clothing pieces over the years and always enjoy them/ wear them often! I do wish that HC would go back to making more pieces that can be worn daily-- their current marketing seems to be more toward fancier occasion pieces and Ren Faire. I like to have things I can wear to work and in daily life that have a nice fantasy style but aren't too over- the- top. I love that HC sizing fits me well as someone with a larger bust and is very flattering!

I've been buying Holy Clothing for a few years now, most of which I've bought in the last couple of years. I love it! The fabric is rayon, which feels and looks wonderful. It can be machine washed, but if you use hot water (like 40°) it can shrink, mostly in length. This is actually quite useful if something's a little long, as it saves the bother of hemming it! Otherwise I wash at 20°C.

There are gorgeous colours available. The dyes can sometimes run - Mystic Purple in particular is known for it, but I find that a bonus as I can throw other things in with it to dye them! Or they can be washed separately or with black.

I must have about 20 dresses and a few skirts from this company, along with several other pieces such as tops and jackets. Most things are well-made, the majority have pockets (yay!), and they give lots of information on sizing. There's a generic size chart, but you might as well ignore that and scroll to the Garment Measurements under the description for each style, which is very detailed and helpful.

There does seem to have been a slight decrease in quality over the last couple of years, along with some steep price hikes. To be fair everywhere has had price hikes, though with Holy Clothing I think a lot is to do with Trump's tariffs - HC deliver from India to the US with no extra tariffs to pay, meaning that they've put up their prices to cover those costs and all their customers in the rest of the world are having to subsidise this. Not great business practice for an international company.

Whenever there has been a problem, such as something being damaged or not right, their customer service has been impeccable. Mistakes do happen, but this company has gone above and beyond to make things right for me. Even simple things like adding something to an order and combining them so as not to pay extra postage is handled quickly and easily.

I wear my pieces from Holy Clothing almost every day, and despite small issues such as dyes not being colourfast or an occasional quality issue they are easily my favourite clothing company.

For those of you who a considering purchasing clothes from HolyClothing.com. My experience has been the best I wear a size so large that it is rare to find clothes to fit. My first order was a chemise in size 5xl if anything could fit this would. It came in, I ripped open the package and put it on it was perfect. A day later I got back online and ordered 7 items then hoped. My biggest body challenge is hips 72” inch spread seated and my large arms 25” inch round. All the items came in 3 weeks later; all but one piece worked, it was the dress Odette the arm tape trim made it too small. The rest of the dress worked so I altered it to work for me. I removed the bias tape on the arms, and it fully works. The Tauriel Maxi Set was perfect no alterations needed. The rest were other chemise styles that worked well for my shape. I am not a bust heavy woman just hips and arms. Holy clothing is now working on my third order This time I added a tip for the seamstresses of the garments that is how happy I have been with Holy Clothing. Plus, I have 5 more pieces on my wish list. ACD in the USA

I’ve purchased from Holy Clothing a number of times over the last few years. My first time was about 4 years ago and the delivery time was very long but more recently I’ve purchased again twice more and received my orders within 4 weeks. Given that the articles are made to size, and colour that turnaround is fantastic and I recommend them highly. Especially as a plus size woman. On that note would recommend going by measurements and not size recommendations because especially with the more adjustable garments they can be very flexible if they’re bigger than expected but not so much if they’re smaller than expected.

Holy Clothing has extremely high quality dresses. They can be expensive but definitely worth it! I have been a customer for over 6 years. I love going to Rennfaires and my favorite piece is my emerald green Turiel over dress with a hood.
I get so many comments!

Incredible dresses that turn heads whenever I wear them, community outreach that lets fans help design new looks, and a lovely support staff. They have it all!

I have been following HolyClothing for several years, eyeing some of their beautiful pieces. I finally took the plunge and decided on a dress, and I was THRILLED by the actual product. At first, I was afraid I may have ordered a size too small because the dress was rather snug going on, but then I discovered the clever zipper on the side to help with the fit! The fabric was great quality and the dress looks wonderful on me—exactly as pictured online! And… I didn’t know pockets were just a standard for HolyClothing! I discovered those by happy accident and loved being able to use those at the Renaissance Festival.

Since then, I have ordered another dress and some matching shirts for my partner and I was equally pleased by the results of those.

The dresses I’ve bought are excellent quality, and even have POCKETS. The only downsides is that they take a while to be delivered, but they’re MADE TO ORDER, so that’s a reasonable price to pay. Just hard to wait. But the wait is worth it.

I had no problem with this store. They don't seem to bait people with false pictures, well, the dresses are fantastic, they arrived as I expected them. The prices are not so high for clothes like this, at least their products are made with natural fibers (most of it). Maybe they are a bit light, I mean, is not thick fabric (in the products I purchased), but is not a problem, I can use them in Summer and Winter (with a layer below). The sizes are wonderful, I am small, so I usually have to fix a lot the clothes I buy, but with them I didn't have to make big fixes.

Holy clothing have in fact not encouraged a positive review but have asked for a review so here goes.

I love my items. The fit is good and the colours came as expected.

I did have one piece arrive with a stain. They asked me to try to wash the stain out with some stain remover (as items are made to order), which seemed like a reasonable request.

Sadly the stain wouldn’t come out, so they offered me a replacement or credit.

I opted for credit, as a replacement wouldn’t arrive in time for what I wanted and was able to order something else that arrived in perfect condition.

I would also say that due to the tariff situation there will now be tariffs to pay but at the time I didn’t have to do this.

Every item I've ordered from Holy Clothing has been high quality and beautiful. They are some of my favorite things to wear!

Holy Clothing used to be amazing daily wear quality for an affordable price anyone could afford. Now it’s closer to costume (definitely can’t do chores in it without snagging) quality at cost that’s above the average joes range. I was a long term fan and stick around in hopes they choose to right by the customer and go back to their roots.

I've ordered multiple dresses from Holy Clothing, as has my mom, and almost everything has been a home run. Out of more than a dozen dresses, only one had to be returned due a being an ill fit (and using their sizing guide lead me still astray). The color on the garments is typically very rich, the dresses are comfortable and look great!
Customer service is typically extremely response and helpful, though sometimes they take longer than you might expect.
I did notice the material on my last order seems to have changed (the third time I ordered a particular dress), and I'm less satisfied with the latest material than the previous, though it is still a lovely piece.

All in all, I will absolutely continue to purchase from this business.

Holy Clothing has become kind of my go to for LARP and Ren Faire garb. I used to make my own costumes but honestly I can't beat the price, quality or comfort.

I love buying really quality, finely crafted fantasy clothes for a fair price. These clothes bring nothing but joy.

I love Holy Clothing clothes BUT I’ve had problems with their sizing as they always come up rather large. I’m a Uk size 8 and their size small petite seems to be just a bit too roomy. I’ve reluctantly altered a couple of garments as sending them back is tricky and expensive if you can’t access their $15 pre paid label (which is also quite steep). It’s a shame as it’s now put me off ordering from them. I’d say if you’re a Uk size 10 or above you’ll be ok but their sizes just don’t work for we small folk 😕

Offering incentives was a little shady for sure, but honestly I wouldn't have done this review if I wasn't quite literally wearing HolyClothing at work right now. I can say with 100% honesty that I absolutely love HolyClothing and have several high quality garments from them. I wear them frequently as base items for ren faires, cosplay, and for casual/work wear. They're soft and beautiful, not to mention they're some of the best clothes I can find that are both fun and plus sized. The only reason I give 4 stars is because there can be a pretty long wait for clothes. That being said, I don't mind it because I know they're being handmade individually and it's going to be worth the time.
