I made an initially enquiry with them and then got hounded with calls and emails. I eventually booked an appointment with them and received further emails and calls. I filled in the medical form and sent the pictures they’d asked for. The appointment was an online video call and I was told to login 5 mins prior. I was left waiting in the conference call for 20 mins with no Dr on the other end. An absolute waste of time that I’d rushed home to get to on time. I then received an email to say that I’d missed the appointment! What a joke! Avoid this place!

The nicest people. Put health first. Thank you. All the employees were kind and courteous. Brilliant actually. Due to a change in my situation I had to cancel going forward with treatment

I hate having to leave a bad review, but in this instance, feel like there is no option, so other people know what to expect from HHC Stapleford.

Pre-Treatment:
The consultation with Kevin was good, although the link for the video conferencing wouldn't work, so we had to chat via WhatsApp.
He explained briefly how the procedure would work, and what results to expect.

Treatment Day:
The clinic was clean and professional on first appearance, with the reception staff pleasant and polite.
Unfortunately there were no theatre gowns to fit me (they only go up to XL), so I had to wear something the wrong way round, which was uncomfortable throughout the day.
The WC is tiny, and you almost touch your shoulders on each wall as you walk in, so trying to get changed, or use the loo is a struggle.
The technicians arrived first, and although polite, were not in the mood for a chat, and were quite reluctant to engage in conversation.
The surgeon arrived an hour after I did, and we decided on a new hairline.
The procedure itself is very uncomfortable, having to lie on your front for 90 minutes, and anaesthetic injections into the scalp while taking donor follicles.
But it got worse when the follicles were transplanted, as the anaesthetic wore off, and although I asked for more, was refused by the technician, meaning the final 45 minutes of the procedure was absolute agony.
So much, that when it was all done, and I got in the car to be taken home, I was in shock, and cried uncontrollably for 10 minutes, and was violently sick when I got home.

Aftercare:
This is confusing.
The e-mailed PDF aftercare leaflet, the hard copy patient pack leaflet, and what the surgeon told me, all contradict each other on what you should do for the first 2 weeks following the treatment.
Having mentioned this on the next day follow-up call, I was given a 4th set of instructions to follow, making things even more confusing.
The follow up calls were brief, and made on loudspeaker, so it was as if I was being spoken with while they were busy doing something else, which made me feel it was inconvenient, rather than an important call.
I mentioned that anaesthetic was refused during treatment, and was told that somebody would call me to discuss, but no call has been received to date.

General:
The e-mails received giving appointments are very misleading.
Every e-mail I have received has stipulated a time, and a venue as "video conferencing", and a link to said video conference, however, only one of these has been an actual video call, and the rest have been phone calls made.
On one occasion I spent 15 minutes waiting in the video conference room, to be told afterwards, that it was a call I was getting at anytime during the afternoon.
I was offered a complimentary PRP treatment following the procedure, but they couldn't do this on any of the 3 days a week I'm available, so this has yet to happen.
Prescriptions issued are charged at £12, but then the pharmacy charged another £43 to process the prescription for one month's worth of Finasteride tablets - Quick tip... get these on-line, as they are so much cheaper.

Overall, I would say that the care given by the technicians, the aftercare information, and the general appointment system is poor and needs to be looked at by the clinic.

I had my consultation with dr ali he pointed me in the right direction and what I needed when it then came to the day of operation I was made to feel relaxed the transplant was done by dr kunnure and the team who done an outstanding job over the moon would highly recommend!!!

Had 4 rounds of PRP treatment at Nottingham clinic.
Complete waste of money and time. Clearly this treatment isn't suitable for everyone, but I'm not sure they're competent or honest enough to say it during the consultation.
They made it sound like it was a done deal more or less, especially if I used Minoxidil also, which I did. Still, after 8 months since the first treatment, I can honestly say I (or anyone else) can't see an difference at all.

I saw Kevin in Clifton,Bristol before the procedure and he talked me through it,what i need done and what it entails,and he couldn't of made it more easier for me,then when i had the procedure done in Nottingham the service and care i got was 1st class,had a lovely,relaxed day all down to the lovely staff,now six months in i couldn't be more happier with the result,even my barber couldn't believe i had a hair transplant!! All in all i couldn't recommend the experience highly enough.

Just finished my 2 day Fue Hair Transplant at HHC Clinic. Had my initial appointment with Dr Ali and he was very knowledgeable and was extremely nice and open about everything. Putting me at ease straight away. I decided after this meeting I was going to go ahead and book my FUE treatment of 1800 grafts for my receding hairline.

I was contacted by email and called by Vanessa to talk me over everything before the surgery. Absolutely outstanding service and answered all my questions.

The day came for the surgery and I was with Dr Aiste and assistant Amrit. They were both fantastic on both days and I can't thank them enough for everything they did. They were very personable and professional. The theater felt very comfortable and they were so patient with me. Thank you both, I was anxious before but soon as I spoke to Aiste she put me at ease and I can't thank her enough.

Every single person at the surgery treated me amazingly and I felt so at ease with them all. There customer service on both days could possibly be the best experience I have had. I can't recommend them enough. Regina was amazing as were the whole team.

My receding hairline has been bothering me for years and I was very unsure if I should go ahead. I am so glad that I went ahead and I want to say a huge thank you to the whole team.

If I could give 10 stars I would! VIP treatment.

I'm now looking forward to seeing my results in time.

They are also great on the aftercare and supporting me with the right medication to reduce any further hair loss.

The results of the PRP treatment I did with HHC were magical and superseded my expectations. I highly recommend getting in touch with them as they are the best, they are trustworthy, professional and friendly. If you want a transparent and constructive consultation to help you decide what is best for you, this is the clinic to go to.

Consultation
I had my consultation with Dr.Ali, he requested a blood test to review my blood levels prior to starting the sessions. He ran through my blood results with me pointing out the areas that needed improvement before/during the session. I had a lot of questions as I wanted to understand my results in more detail and he was generous with his time. After having a understanding of my results and what needed improvement, I followed a routine to optimise my health during the 6-7 months of my treatment:
- Vitamin D 50,000 iu (once every week for the first 8 weeks, then once every month for a year *prescribed as a I was deficient)
- Vitamin C + Iron (every other morning)
- Omega 3 (every other day)
- Zinc + copper (every other day)
- Minoxidil hair serum (from Hillside Hair Clinic) massaged it in after every hair shower (twice a week)
- clean & nutritious diet
- exercise 2-3 times a week

Treatment
3 sessions, once every month, 4th session on the 6th month then once a year after that

Session 01 (month 1)
Dr.Regina started by talking me through the procedure, she understood my concerns and explained realistic expectations very honest and straightforward. She emphasised that a healthy body and mind is an important factor to the success of the treatment. I had told her that I believed I lost a lot of hair due to 7 years of stress and anxiety (during my architectural education). She said I had a full head of hair which is good in average but there was room for improvement. My main concern was the bald patches on my temples, that was noticeable and affecting my confidence. I understood that if you always had hair there, and the hair follicle is still intact then there is a high probability that the hair will grow again.

The treatment was painful, however only lasts for the duration of the treatment, I did have a short headache after leaving he treatment, but it lasted not more than 5minutes.

Session 02 (month 3 because I was away)
Immediately after the second treatment, I don’t know how that was possible so quickly, but my hair was instantly shiny, and my face was glowing. I sent photos to my friends and family and they thought I got a hair shine treatment and a facial! I was really happy with these results and I could see how the treatment was working. Also, my hair loss stopped, not a single hair was falling in the shower since I started the treatment. Dr.Regina explained that this was one of the first signs that the treatment was working.

Session 03 (month 4)
My baby hair started to grow, it was hard to see but when comparing with pre-treatment photos but I could see ‘thickness’.

Session 04 (month 7)
By then, everyone I know was complementing my hair thickness, everyone was seeing a difference. I was totally surprised by how quick this treatment worked and very happy to that the results were visible to people.

Dr. Regina is an amazing doctor, she’s very knowledgeable in her field and highly professional. I enjoyed every visit and am very glad I chose to do this treatment with HHC.

Having researched extensively for the past 3 months myself and a friend finally decided to take the plunge and opted for HHC with Dr Krishnan & team. From the very first consultation with Kevin right through to the actual procedure and the days following the whole experience was first class. The entire HHC team are friendly, professional and instilled confidence from start to finish. Heres to the next 6 months by which time I fully expect to achieve the result I am hoping for. 5 stars for HHC & team.

After a lot of research I went with HHC for an FUE hair transplant to fix my receding hairline. My initial consultation was with Dr Ali, who explained everything with me in a very relaxed and clear way.

Once I decided to go ahead, the whole process was smooth and I really felt like I was getting VIP treatment. My transplant was carried out by Dr Kunnure, along with Amrit and the rest of the team, who really take pride in their work.

Getting my hair transplant with HHC was one of the best decisions I have ever made and I cannot thank the team enough.

Wonderful care from hillside hair clinic. I had an FUE transplant with Dr Krishnan, who was kind, caring and extremely skilled in his work. There was minimal pain and any pain I did have was quickly addressed by Dr Krishnan. The whole time I was made to feel very comfortable by all the staff at the clinic

Although I wasn’t suitable to a hair transplant, Dr. Ali carefully explained and recommended alternative treatments to help me feel more comfortable and confident with my hair loss. I had an initial consultation with Tonicha who was very informative and I was really impressed with the setup they had at hillside hair clinic. With my hairline thinning/receding, I decided to to go through with an FUE hair transplant. I was advised that if this was the route I was going to take, the DHI method would suit my requirements best. This procedure was carried out by Dr Bauer and technician Amrit who were both fantastic. Dr Bauer made me feel so relaxed and was very thorough with everything she did from pre op to post op and kept me informed with what she was doing throughout the procedure.
On the two days I was in for my FUE, I was looked after incredibly by the whole team and made to feel very comfortable. I had my own room to have snacks/drinks/lunch which was all provided. The two days couldn’t have gone any smoother and I was then sent home with an after care pack. Since my op, I have also had regular contact from patient advisors checking in on my recovery progress.I would definitely recommend hillside hair clinic to anybody looking to get hair treatment done or requires further information/advice. They are brilliant.

My experience with Dr Ali was extremely positive.

HHC was great from start to finish. I had initially booked my procedure previously but due to some complications had to reschedule. Once being able to go ahead Dr Krishnan booked me in early because he knew I'd been waiting a while. The process was fully explained and my preferences taken into consideration. On the day everything from meals to medication to streaming services was provided. Dr Krishnan, Amrit and the whole team were very friendly and professional throughout.The cinic remains responsive post procedure and Vanessa has been great with quick replies since my procedure.

After having 4 consultations with my 23 year old son (3 uk 1 Turkey) for a hair transplant we will definitely stick with Hillside. I felt in safe hands within the first 5 mins of our very first call to start the process of something that can be quite complicated to understand and arrange treatment for.
Hillside are extremely knowledgeable will only advise on treatments they feel are right for the client. They have gone to extreme detail to ensure we understand what is happening and why and the best way to go forward. No sales tactics just great patient care. I will look forward to our next meeting with them and will update further.
In the mean time I can feel relief that My son didn’t follow advise from any of the other clinics who were clearly just after sales.

My experience with Dr Ali was extremely positive. He was very attentive and explained everything in detail. Furthermore, he was not pushy at all and did not rush when assessing me or going through management plans. He also took into consideration me being a student and was very helpful when it came to talking through costings.
