Having a hair transplant is a big decision which took years to make but as soon as I had my consultation I knew it was right for me. First of all there was no pressure to book. I received honest advise about my options and what I could expect.

I was incredibly nervous ahead of my procedure (FUE) but the day was actually very relaxed. My surgeon sat me down and explained what would happen throughout the day and I was given a bag containing snacks to keep my blood sugar levels steady. My experience was that the extraction procedure was relatively painless and I was topped up with anaesthetic as needed.

After lunch I sat and watched Netflix whilst the surgeon and staff implanted the hair taken earlier in the day. Everyone I came into contact with was very friendly and professional. After the transplant I received regular calls and WhatsApp messages to check on my results and to see if I had questions.

Results: it’s important to say you need to be patient. Nothing will really happen for approx 4-5 months. Around the 6 month point I started to feel confident enough to go out without wearing a hat and my results improved month on month. I am now 12 months in and I have a very natural looking hairline which I am very pleased with. No one has ever guessed that I have had a transplant and this is due to the time and care taken by the surgeon and his team to create a realistic hairline that looks natural. My hair still needs to fully thicken but I have been able to style and comb my hair in the way that I want - rather than choosing a hairstyle to cover my receding hairline.

Having the procedure is a big decision but one that I am glad I made. I am also using PRP and taking medication to keep the hair I have.

Dr Bauer was my surgeon, who professionally guided me through the entire journey from start to finish, along with Amrit who was an excellent surgical assistant.

I had so many veins in my legs last year at this time, I was feeling very uncomfortable wearing short clothes.
I did a consultation with HHC clinics and they recommended a surgery. I have decided for the procedure to be quick so decided to go to their clinic in Nottingham where I have seen Dr. Steve Goode and his assistant. Dr. Steve did the surgery on me and applied foam sclerotherapy and microfoam sclerotherapy. Was such a lovely day, the surgery went so well, the pain was very soft, plus Dr. Steve made me feel so relax talking with me at the same time he was doing the surgery.
After 6 weeks I went to the same clinic in London and was seen by Dr. Brar also a lovely Doctor that had applied foam on my legs.
I have decided to write this review after almost one year to see the better results of the surgery. Now I can wear my short clothes, feel super happy and grateful to Dr. Steve Goode and his team for the brilliant surgery and Dr. Brar for the foam application and nice consultation. I keep doing my exercises, I try to walk every time I can, to avoid to put on weight, to avoid the varicose veins to come back and to keep my legs nice. Thank you to the team for making me happy!

I am 48 and my hairline stared receding around the age of 40 I had spent hours looking through before and after pictures on the internet trying to pluck up courage to even go for a consultation anywhere. I found the whole hair transplant thing embarrassing even though I was really unhappy with how I looked . I got quotes from abroad first but all the hairlines looked the same so I started researching in England and Hillside came up , I went for a consultation and the Doctor drew my hairline in as it should be ( age appropriate) he explained why transplants look obvious if they are not done to suit your Age , head shape ect . I booked in and Dr Bauer did my surgery ( I read her reviews online before I went) she was very professional and really relaxed which made me feel much better everything was explained in detail like the angle the hair is put in to the scalp so it grows in that direction , if I was happy with the hairline she drew on ect . The surgery is quite painful after a few hours but they numb your head . I am 12 months after surgery and could not be happier with the results, the clinic check up on you all the time which is very reassuring. Do exactly as they tell you after surgery this will get the best results. The final results are definitely worth the embarrassing shaved head and hair fall out stage . If your going to have this done just go for a consultation and see how you feel ,but I personally would highly recommend this clinic they are definitely experts in this field.

I have recently had treatment for swollen various veins causing my feet and legs to be swollen. I received an excellent treatment plan and care from start to finish I am already seeing great results as this was my second apointment and my feet no longer swell

Booked in for a consultation, seen very quickly. The staff are amazing with a very clean and calming environment. I was informed that a hair transplant was not for me as I don’t have the amount of donation hair I need to achieve the affect I wanted.
They did give me other alternatives to look into though. It would have been so easy for them to take my money but they were extremely honest about things. Would definitely recommend if anyone was thinking of having a hair transplant

Regina has been carrying out the PRP treatment I’ve been receiving and she is an amazing healthcare professional; treatments have been unbelievably smooth and advice on all around care has been expertly provided. I cannot thank Dr Bauer and Amrit enough. I was extremely nervous at the start of the procedure and they put me at ease and reassured me about each step of the process. Amongst the best customer service I've ever received, they were conversational and professional. They managed to keep most of my existing hair in tact so my transplant is completely discreet. Dr Ali and Saffy were also excellent in the initial consultation, and I've received fantastic after care from the team. Highly recommended and can't thank Dr Bauer, Amrita, Dr Ali and Saffy enough.

I had FUE and the care I received from Dr Bauer was absolutely wonderful, she made sure I was comfortable all the way through and took time to explain everything to me. The end to end experience was really positive - not only was the sales process relaxed and informal (we left it almost 12 months between 1st conversation and booking), but the experience on the day was incredibly professional and seamless.
Pain was minimal (although the local anaesthetic is unpleasant).
I’m 6 months in, and in theory half way through the results. If the finished product stayed as it was today, I’d have my moneys worth.

I would highly recommended HHC. I had a FUE transplant in March 2021, which involved 2,500 grafts. Dr Krishnan is an extremely skilled practitioner and I’m delighted with the results. All my friends, family and work colleagues have been very complementary about the results and 18 months on I can say I definitely made the right decision. The aftercare from all the team including Venessa was great as well.

I was so hugely impressed by the compassion, care and kindness I was shown at the Hillside Hair clinic on Tuesday. Every staff member was so warm and attentive to helping me feel good.
Couldn’t recommend it enough!

During my initial consultation at the HHC clinic, in Nottingham, a member of staff, Kevin, was concerned about my hair condition and recommended that I be examined by the head of the practice, Dr Wilf Ali.

Dr Ali informed me that I had, in his opinion, a condition (F.F.A) which would render any hair transplant operation (FUE or FUT) futile. He very kindly wrote me a letter of referral, there & then, for further consultation with a dermatologist of my choosing.

Not only was Dr Ali's assessment honest and professional but it was without charge and moreover he has potentially saved me a very expensive operation which would have been fruitless. Although it was a free consultation I feel Dr Ali's involvement and actions were certainly chargeable, but he insisted that there was no charge. How refreshing! It certainly renewed my faith in the private medical sector.

Needless to say, Dr Ali has my full confidence and I fully recommend him and his practice.

An amazing experience from consultation to walking out after my last treatment, very welcoming receptionists and spotlessly clean clinic, i was given so much information from Dr Goode about the treatment and he was always asking if I had any questions, I would most definitely advise anyone thinking of having this treatment to go ahead, I only wish I'd done it sooner, thankyou xx

From the moment I had my first consultation, to the aftercare I honestly can’t thank the hhc clinic in Stapleford Nottingham enough for everything they’ve done for me, each and every member of staff I’ve dealt with have been so friendly to me, from the receptionists, the consultants and the surgeons, nothing has been too much trouble for them. I’d been wanting a hair transplant for a while and was recommended to these from a friend, decided to take the plunge and haven’t regretted it at all, waiting for the hair to grow to a full head yet but the outline of my new hairline looks fantastic and I would highly recommend these guys to anyone thinking of taking the plunge and going for it like I did! A special mention to Saffia for all of her help with me too, everyone’s been fantastic to me but her particularly so!

Not as good results as I imagined given all the good reviews this place has.

Had multiple follow up chats with both the surgeon and medical director. The surgeon agreed the final result was not as good as expected and suggested I talk with the medical director to see what can be done.

Had the appointment with the medical director to be told “I didn’t recognise you” which supposedly I’m meant to feel better about myself. I’m simply not happy with the hairline at all and for £8,000 total waste of money to be honest.

All discussions then lead to having a second procedure for my crown area which they seem to make a price on the spot by offering me it for £5,000.

This place is purely here for sales sales sales and don’t seem to care about how the patients feels about the end result.

They are never on time for appointments having booked an appointment for 1pm and then to be told they have over booked and I can’t be seen. Another example is I book an appointment for 1pm and not seen by anyone for over an hour…
