I had the wonderful Chris Bellott come and fit my WiFi today he was chatty and friendly and knew what he was doing. Arrived earlier than expected but called to let me know which I was happy with. Great experience!

Friendly service from Stefan who fitted my WiFi, really helpful with any questions, and I was impressed by how tidy and discreet the wiring was, on trying the WiFi it seems to be working great so far, I also got a great affordable deal for being a new customer when calling HeyBroadband to join them, thanks!

Great internet, brutal billing surprises
For the full 24 months of my contract, Hey Broadband was excellent — fast, stable, no complaints at all. However the moment the contract ended, the price jumped to £55/month, and then for three months running they took an extra £90 out of my account on top of that. Almost £300 in three months.
When I emailed, they said it was a late payment fee — I accept I was late once, and I accepted that penalty. But I was charged it three times.
I cancelled the second I saw the third charge.
** UPDATE — in response to Hey!Broadband's reply **
They claim late fees were applied on three separate occasions because payments weren't received on time. That's not the full picture. Yes, I was late once — I hold my hands up to that. But on the other two occasions, the money was in my account and ready. Your Direct Debit simply failed to collect. That is not my fault, that is a failure on your end.
I tried explaining this multiple times to your customer service team, but the language barrier made it impossible to get anywhere. Based on other reviews here, I'm clearly not the only one who experienced this.
The internet itself is genuinely good, so I'd still recommend the service. But cancel the second your 24 months are up — or you might end up paying for the same mistake three times like I did.

A poor customer service experience with Hey! Broadband. I went with them to secure an affordable monthly payment.
Initially, the bloke who installed the box, at our house, asked my wife for assistance with installation. Which annoyed me.
We experienced l an outage in the area shortly after installation.
When we moved, we were required to pay out the rest of our term (fair enough). The issue was all the time wasted calling, being passed around the lines to sort out an "early repayment plan". Sometimes I'd call the department for the staff to tell me nothing had been recorded.
Am email comes through today with a total to be paid back. I call up to confirm if this is the final payment to be told that another £90 will be charged for not "returning the equipment". I have looked in my inbox, junk, deleted emails and can't find a record of this. I asked again about the early repayment assistance (as I know need to pay back £359.29 in one hit followed by the £90). I was told that there's no record of this enquiry and I'll need to fill out a complaint form. Ridiculous display of customer service with no attempt of acknowledging fault. They knew exactly how much was needed to be charged but no record of assistance needed to their customer. Unreal.

Despite all the promises and bombarding of emails I never got any referral awards despite referring my whole street and neither did any of those in my street who referred others - I was pushed from pillar to post for months and they never resolved it. I got constant marketing calls and when I got a call from someone saying they were calling from HBB to renew my contract when I asked for verification they sighed and hung up - this happened 3 times - impossible to reach anyone in customer service and my contract expired with no email notification yet I’m being charged double what my contract was for! Very disappointing service and experience

Never, ever subscribe to Hey!Broadband. It’s been the worst experience I’ve ever had. Every advisor tells you something different, and no one seems to give consistent information.

Ok service, but pray you never need technical support. Its all offshore (so language is a problem), and they are clueless. My nan would be better at fixing issues....and she has been dead for 20years!

I have called you multiple times on your customer support number, and multiple emails have been exchanged. Still waiting for your final review and also follow-up on your inappropriately named 'Super-Pods'. Set up incorrectly by your engineer at initial install, I might add. Only just found out, after over a year, that the main router's WiFi should have been disabled!!!

Really impressed by the customer service and based on this experience, we will look out for this company in the future when thinking about changing broadband providers.
