Best price with excellent service
I recently ordered 30 bags of block salt from Halite Salts, who had the best price on the market. The salt was delivered in boxes, with 3 bags per box, meaning I needed 10 boxes in total. While the delivery was managed by DPD courier service, it was spaced out over three different drop-offs across three days. I received 3 boxes on the first day, 2 boxes on the second day, and on the third day, 2 boxes arrived in the morning and the remaining 3 in the evening.
Although the delivery schedule was a bit spread out, it wasn’t an issue for me as I had the week off work. However, this could be inconvenient for someone with a busier schedule. That said, the price was excellent, the service from Halite Salts was excellent, and overall, the delivery was okay.
If you’re looking for great prices and don’t mind a delivery spread out over a few days, I would highly recommend Halite Salts.

A chaotic experience
Unfortunately although I had used Hslite successfully before, my last order in June was a shambles. When I ordered they did not have salt in stock so only offered me a half order. A month later when they had the salt they delivered my salt to a wrong address- 120 miles away and their driver was rude to the person there. Eventually sorted after countless phone calls but not good enough in my opinion.

We have carefully reviewed the issues you raised. The stock shortage was entirely our fault, and we have since taken steps to ensure this doesn’t happen again by investing in greater stock levels. Additionally, I apologise for the delivery mistake. This was due to an internal error in entering the incorrect address into our system, which we have since addressed to prevent future occurrences.
Regarding the behaviour of the delivery driver, we are deeply sorry that this happened. We have contacted DPD to ensure this is looked into, as we expect all delivery drivers to treat our customers with respect and professionalism.
We appreciate your understanding and patience in resolving this situation, and we hope you will consider giving us another chance to provide you with the excellent service we strive for.

A Very Smooth Transaction.
After previously ordering tablet salt from 2 fly by night companies who were quick to grab my money, and promise deliveries that never transpired, I was being cautious about ordering again, I may have mentioned them in other reviews.
I was encouraged by the Halite reviews, the price, and although I was in no rush, the 48 hour tracked delivery ensured I knew exactly when to expect my delivery.
I will without hesitation use this company again.
