We were, from the start, impressed by the professionalism of the Kerala (Globe) Travel Centre team and by their enthusiasm to craft the optimum holiday for our needs. They went to great lengths to determine our specific preferences whilst on holiday and ensured that they were met. They kept in regular contact with me as the details of the holiday were finalised and even phoned us on the day before traveling to wish us a good holiday. They provided a truly professional and innovative service yet it was delivered with both enthusiasm and warmth.

When we arrived in India, the support we received was to be honest, so outstanding that it left us bewildered! A representative came to meet us as soon as practical and from that moment appeared to monitor every move we made. At every stay on the trip, she phoned us (with almost unnerving precision) as soon as we arrived, to ensure that we were happy with the transfer and accommodation. If we had ever encountered a problem (which we did not) I have no doubt she would have sorted it out immediately.

Overall we would like to thank Globe Travel for their outstanding level of support to us while we were in India. I will, of course, recommend the organisation to anyone I know who might want to take a similar trip.

We have truly had the most wonderful holiday. We booked a two week private tour of South Kerala and cannot thank Kerala Travel enough for their superb organisation.

Right from the start when we were met at the airport and greeted with Jasmin garlands we fell in love with India and its people. We could not have wished for a nicer man than Rupesh to be our driver. He was a true gentleman and he looked after us so well.

We were very impressed with the accommodation at all our destinations. We particularly enjoyed our stays at Eighth Bastion in Fort Cochin, Uday Samudra beach resort where we experiened a traditional Ayurveda massage and Kumarakom Lake Resort, a truly beautiful place where I had a cookery lesson. I bought a South Kerala cook book to try and cook some of the delicious South Kerala dishes myself. Thank you for the upgrade to the Heritage Villa with an outdoor Jacuzzi pool.

What a joy the bullock cart ride was in Tamil Nadu. We are so glad this was suggested. The visit to the temple in Madurai was particularly memorable. The guide was so good, in fact all the guides at each destination were very informative and made each visit enjoyable.

We have been raving on about our holiday to all our friends and we would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Kerala Travel company to all our friends and hope that maybe one day we can travel with them again.

The team from karela travel centre were just brilliant , everything from start to finish they were just great we did not have any trouble with the transfer, hotels, and their reps.were great Charly and his team did a fantastic job, very helpful in every aspect, even came to drop us off to airport on the last day, I would recommend any one who wishes to go on holiday to karela. Great communication, ability to amend itinerary to our specification. Guides excellent. 1st driver very good but 2nd driver very reluctant to detour to Varkala, which was on our itinerary. Eighth Bastion Hotel very good; quiet location, near town centre, restaurants etc. Munackdal Estate very welcoming. Great hospitality and food. Interesting tour of estate. Kumarakom Hotel (Whispering Palms) nice location but property is run-down and pool was nasty green colour. Varkala beach worth a visit and we enjoyed the collection of shops, restaurants etc. Houseboat excellent, couldn't fault it.. Two nights the perfect duration. Hotel in Kovalam very nice but area between hotel and beach is very scruffy. We can recommend Seagull resaturant on the beach!

We enjoyed a 13day Exploration Tour of Kerala, South India visiting Fort Cochi, Munnar, Madurai (in Tamil Nadu), Kumily/Periyar, Kovalakum, a Houseboat and stay by Vembanad Lake. Visited a wide range of sites and experienced the life, culture, religions, flora and fauna of this beautiful country. We were expertly driven by our own personal driver. The guides were all extremely informative and interesting. Hotels were comfortable and the houseboat an amazing experience.Globe Travel & Kerala Travel are an extremely good travel company and would highly recommend.

My wife and I have just returned from our most wonderful trip to Kerala on your 6 night Luxury Tour. The arrangements by the Kerala Travel Centre were absolutely first rate from start to finish. In fact I think they can truthfully be called faultless. I already commented favourably on our pre-tour service and the actual tour itself lived up to every expectation.

Travel arrangements with Emirates were first class and very much of the standard we have come to expect from them. All flights were punctual and on board service was excellent.

The standards for the tour were set in our very first hotel, the splendid Eighth Bastion in Cochin. Quietly understated and elegant, I must give particular thanks to the chef and restaurant staff. Sadly we were not there long enough to fully appreciate their skills but what we experienced was some of the finest food and service on the whole trip and that is saying something as throughout the trip we were constantly delighted by the outstanding food, professionalism and service we received from everyone in all the accommodations.

The Coconut Lagoon Resort is just exquisite. As you will remember we booked a pool villa here which was just wonderful. The hotel and gardens themselves are so beautiful and again we would have loved to have stayed here longer.

The houseboat trip from here was of course one of the highlights of the trip. A truly magical experience on a lovely boat with an attentive and pleasant crew. Just one very minor criticism here in that Tomy, our Captain, did not appear to speak very much English and his two crew mates, none at all. It would have been nice to have had some explanations of the wonderful sights we were passing but this distracted from the overall experience only minimally.

And then on to Marari Beach which again, while busier than the other properties, still provided peace and tranquility in abundance. And a wonderful pool and beach green. Food too here was exceptional in both the main restaurant and the "pool bar".

We absolutely fell in love with Kerala and particularly it's people. I always thought the Thais were the "nicest" hosts but I think the Keralese (?) surpass even them for genuine kindness and hospitality. Even the hawkers in Fort Cochin were courteous and charming!

And on final word of thanks for our driver Rashid. He was an excellent driver on the crazy roads of Kerala and took very good care of us. Our next visit to Kerala is likely to be a tour of Northern Kerala and we would definitely want Rashid as our driver. Please convey our most grateful thanks to him with very best wishes for his wife and new baby.

If you are thinking of traveling to Sri Lanka you will probably require some guidance. We had a good idea of what we wanted from our holiday and after contacting Vinesh at Global travel we were able to agree on a Itinerary that suited us. Speaking with people who have experience of the country and the hotels etc made our chioce much easier.
The driver we had on the holiday was excellent and was able to follow the full Itinerary.
The holels that Global Travel selected were first class and suited us 100%.
I would recommend Global Travel to any of our friends.

Booked our recent holiday to India for a party of 6 people through Globe Travel Centre which we found on the internet. Told them exactly where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see. They sorted everything from flights, transport from airport to hotels etc.. We flew to Delhi, then travelled by road to Agra where we stayed in a beautiful hotel The Jaypee Palace. We visited The Red Fort & Taj Mahal. Next day back by road to Delhi. Following day an internal flight to Kerala. While in Kerala we went by road to Appelby where we boarded a rice boat and travelled the waterways by day & overnight. Totally looked after on boat. We cannot fault this Company at all & would thoroughly recommend them to anyone planning a holiday. Excellent!

We experienced outstanding service right through our holiday , from the initial booking when we were contacted efficiently at all the planning stages to the friendly and knowledgeable guides provided .Our visit to an elephant festival was the highlight of our trip and both guide and driver did everything possible for us to enjoy it .

I would recommend using this firm for organising holidays. Their specialised expertise, which in our case was Kerala, is invaluable especially for first time travellers to that area. We were helped and advised on our visa applications and through the holiday we had several calls to ask if everything was going well and if there were any problems. We hope to use this firm again as we had a fantastic holiday in Kerala.

We had a fantastic road trip in South India during February and March 2014. Kereala Travel Centre worked with us to organise the itinerary. Everything worked really well on the tour. The car was very comfortable, our driver was amazing, he kept us safe on long journeys, was friendly, informative and helpful and ensured we got to know India. The accommodation was also very good and our guides were also good. We .also like the fact that the company kept in touch with us throughout the holiday. As we were celebrating out 10th anniversary KTC had organised a special meal for us and the staff at the hotel also decorate our room. A fantastic trip.. .

I have no hesitation in recommending the Kerala Travel Centre. The tour was impeccably organised, the hotels they picked were excellent and Johnson, our driver, was unfailingly good as were the local guides as we toured around Kerala.
We had a limited time for the holiday and they really helped us make the most of it.

We couldn't find what we were looking for in a package deal as we had already visitied Sri Lanka for a holiday before and had visited a lot of the tourist areas. However, we loved the country so much we wanted to go back and visit what we did not have a chance to experience on a previous visit. The Kerela/Sri Lanka Travel Centre listened to what we needed, then put the whole itinerary together both for the Sri Lanka part of the holiday and the second part in the Maldives. We had a driver for 9 days who was knowledgeable, polite and totally reliable. We will definitely use the Kerela/Sri lanka travel Centre to book our next holidays in Sri Lanka and Kerela in the future - we can't recommend them highly enough.

We travelled in a group of four with two of our friends and had a truly wonderful experience in a country that made us very welcome. The trip was tailored for us from start to finish by Kerala Travel Centre giving us choices of where to stay and we found all of the to be of a high standard.Our chauffeur was a local lad and he was very attentive and took us to some parts of Kerala that ready made tours would probably miss out. We were introduced to many local people, some in their homes, and everywhere we went we were made to feel special. The festivals are fantastic and shouldn't be missed - elephants, fireworks, food and fun. Our riceboat journey was really enjoyable and we would recommend that two nights aboard really should be a minimum stay to take in most of the high spots on the waterways. Many, many more experiences on this trip made it a holiday to remember, for all of the right reasons, and our thanks must go to Kerala Travel Centre for organising it so professionally.

Well organized, exactly to our expectations.

Kerala is easily the most beautiful country I have ever been to. I have travelled widely, and love the Far East in particular. But Kerala is outstanding. The people are friendly and warm. The food is excellent. Our accommodation was in each case very good - particularly The Coconut Lagoon, which was extraordinary and very welcoming. I would love to go back to Kerala - and would thoroughly recommend the Kerala Travel Centre to anyone thinking of visiting.

One of the best holidays ever. We had a whole month in Karnataka and the northern part of Kerala. The itinerary incorporated wildlife safaris, hill stations & little trains , tea and spice plantations, palaces, temples and cultural peformances, a houseboat on the backwaters and a final five days at a beach resort. Throughout, we stayed in very individual, character hotels and - best of all - at four glorious private homestay properties, These were what made the holiday really special. The accommodations were all lovely, we learnt a lot about the families and their lives and the home cooking was superb - much better than the rather standardised fare in hotels and restaurants. We were treated like family guests. At one, we dined with the new regional police chief, at another we canoed on the lake and had a fantastic evening at the sixtieth birthday party of our host and enjoyed meeting his charming friends and famiy. Elsewhere, we were taken all around the area which included homes of several craftsmen, a school, a village breakfast and a huge religious festival with elephants and drummers. So very many memorable moments. Our lovely driver/guide and the service throughout were fantastic. We can unreservedly recommend Kerala Travel Centre. AND we had a quote for the identical itinerary from another company; Kerala Travel came in substantially less expensive! What more could you ask.
